It was my first time here. Everything is really pretty in this restaurant. Decorated perfectly for Christmas. We started off with the Cristino, which was amazing. A beautiful pate and perfectly sliced thin prosciutto. Absolutely delicious. For entrées, we ordered the rigatoni carbonara and the Tagliatelle with the mushrooms and truffle oil. Both entrées were really good, but I prefer the carbonara. It was smoky and cheesy and perfect. Service was good and we will be back.

Lofty restaurant in downtown Port Chester. Dimly lit for a romantic evening. Stopped by after work before the dinner crowd and it was very quiet. Service was very quick and everything tasted delicious. Portions were decent, especially the chicken parm. Pricier, but nice for occasional visit!

Felice was first brought to my attention via a LoHud article highlighting new restaurants coming to Westchester. Felice stood out to me for two reasons - firstly it was replacing Saltaire in Port Chester which I didn't now had closed and was a fan of, secondly because this seemed to be a trendy restaurant with locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and South Florida. Though I am naturally wary of Italian restaurants, I nevertheless wanted to try them for myself - so I made plans with my parents and booked a table for dinner. Felice (pronounced Fell-eet-cHe) is housed in an old granary warehouse in the commercial heart of Port Chester. Post warehouse, the spaced housed a few restaurants - most recently the aforementioned Saltaire. The interior got a nice refresh with Felice moving in; the bones are still there such as the high ceilings and exposed brick, but the updated layout and color scheme makes more its own space vs. something inherited. The interior is split into two rooms - to the right after entry is the main dining room, and to the left is the bar area which also has additional tables. The menu is mostly Italian fare; the restaurant markets itself as serving Tuscan-inspired dishes, though there is definitely some Southern Italian here as evidenced by the red sauce dishes and pizza. The menu is divided into apps, salads, pastas, and mains. We decided to start with several apps - meatballs, arancini, ricotta, and eggplant parm. These were all delicious - I was especially impressed with the eggplant as it was prepared really well. Their red sauce kinda shook me to be honest; my family makes their own tomato sauce and it's really hard to find one in restaurants that compares - especially in Westchester. This was one of the better ones I've had so kudos to them. For my main I felt like pasta - the lasagna was speaking to me so I went with that. This was somewhat unique in that it was made up of spinach pasta sheets, veal ragout, and béchamel in addition to red sauce. The dish was delicious - I personally don't think the spinach added much to the pasta sheets, but it was a nice change from traditional pasta regardless. The béchamel complemented the red sauce well, and it was just enough that it added a richness without being overwhelming. We had to try dessert, and I decided to go with the chocolate hazelnut cake. This was pretty good - it was kind of rich but that was expected; tasty with a good balance of flavors regardless. I want to try their tiramisu next time as I heard it's made in-house - regrets. Service was great - food came out at a good pace and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Management was on the floor assisting where need be and making sure that everyone was taken care of, I imagine because they've only been open for three weeks and may still be getting their footing - regardless of the reason it was good to see. Overall, Felice exceeded my expectations. The service was great and the food was delicious - especially that red sauce which really made this experience memorable for me. It's so hard to find good Italian food in Westchester, so Felice is definitely a welcome addition to the county. I would definitely return for another meal and wish the team all the best as they embark on this new venture.

I've been wishing to try this place since the opening one or two months ago and they are super booked all the time (no availability for walk in, tried twice). Finally I was able to get a reservation for brunch today (Saturday) and I learned that's their first opening day offering brunch service. The place was quiet and not busy compared to other times I stopped by during the evening. Staff are very friendly and Andrea (not sure if the correct spelling) was very attentive and touching base constantly with each table. We had starters: TUNA TARTARE, CARCIOFI E CALAMARI FRITTI, a side ASPARAGI, and pasta: RAVIOLI DELLA CASA. They all were good. Dessert selected was cheesecake with berries and we also enjoyed with a macchiato and espresso. They offer whole wheat and gluten free options. Probably will be back another time for dinner when I get an easier reservation!

We found street parking since we came in around 6p. The restaurant was fairly empty but it filled up midway through our dinner. It's lively and nicely decorated. We ordered drinks first, and the cocktail menu had some nice options. Too sweet for my taste so I ordered wine. Simple collection to choose from. Then we had the lamb meatballs. They were very good, especially with the sauce. Not gamey. The fried artichoke was definitely a hit with the dipping sauce. Some of the pieces were a little too dry and I didn't taste much artichoke overall. The roasted romaine was a nice take an a Caesar salad. Grilled asparagus is self explanatory. The pizza was really good but I avoid gluten now so I only had 2 bites; husband loved it. I had the scallops which were too rubbery for my taste. I was hungry so I finished the whole plate after another round of drinks. The staff was attentive and professional. There were smiles at our arrival as well as departure. We were very happy with the experience here. We will come again!!

It smells so strong you cannot imagine eating anything while smelling it. Why are they not using any of the many non smelling cleaners available? Like every other restaurant!?! Please Tellys!!! I actually love their food most of the time and would go there more often if not for this issue. Sometimes the calamari and octopus are not as fresh as they could be which of course is a big problem. They need to coordinate with their other restaurant to make the ingredients always fresh!!! Love the marousalata, grilled octopus (sometimes) and many of their other dishes. If they did better marketing or PR (youre right next to the town of Greenwich where people love and can afford your food but no one has heard of you!) they would have more customers and likely fresher food! My suggestions: 1. Stop using fabuloso- clean with a smell-free product 2. Only fresh food always (no old seafood or meat! Dangerous!) 3. Marketing and PR!

I'm a tough critic, having worked in restaurants for a decade, so take this seriously: the service was impeccable and the food was perfect. The dining room is lively -- yes, it's noisy -- but that energy comes from a full house of happy diners, which tells you everything you need to know. We started with scallops: buttery, golden-crusted, and exquisitely tender. I had the veal saltimbocca -- one of my favorite dishes anywhere -- and Sergio's version is by far the best I've had. Dessert was a Basque cheesecake with a perfect balance of texture and sweetness. In five years, I have never had a bad meal or a lapse in service here. It isn't cheap, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Ignore the haters.

They also offer an enclosed atrium area, which seemed like a quieter option--but the heat was a bit too high for us, so we chose to sit inside. It was quite loud, so next time I would try the atrium area near the entrance for a more comfortable noise level. One of the highlights right away was the complimentary antipasto: a nice plate of mixed cheeses, olives, and sliced salami, along with a basket of bread. The thin, crispy salted bread was seriously addictive--so good! Paired well with our Aperol Spritz. We started by splitting the fried zucchini flower blossoms stuffed with ricotta, served over tomato sauce. You get two per order; they were good. For entrées, my friend ordered the Pollo Fino--strips of chicken breast topped with asparagus, shrimp, and mushrooms in a white wine citrus sauce. It came with four jumbo shrimp, and she said it was incredibly good. I had the Pappardelle alla Boschiola with prosciutto di Parma and green peas in a pink sauce. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I later noticed the menu included mushrooms, which didn't seem to be in my dish, but I did not catch it at the time. We finished by sharing the Napoleon dessert--my friend had raved about it. The flavor was good, and our server nicely split it for us, but the pastry layers were quite crunchy, making it challenging to eat. Overall, a fun atmosphere with tasty food. They have a big parking lot offering valet service.

I will say that I strongly recommend Village Social either update their menu or change the toppings, as these polenta bites were topped with crispy bacon but the menu did not indicate this.
