    Chocolate Lava Cake

Came here for a solo dinner on a Saturday night around 8p and was quickly seated. The place was busy and it was loud (music and people). It took a little longer than expected to get service, but once I did, everything from there on out was great. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc which I sipped on while having the complimentary bread, hummus, and olive oil - great! For my meal, I was between the Chicken and Mushroom Pappardelle or the Seafood Risotto. I was recommended the Seafood Risotto (on the specials menu) because I was hungry and it was more food. The Seafood Risotto did not disappoint - filling and very good. I had some room for dessert so I tried the Chocolate Lava Cake which was so good! Great spot on the ave that I look forward to coming back to for future meals!

Delicious shaved Brussels spout salad by Harvest

I've passed by Harvest many times but never had a chance to try the food. I didn't even know it was a wine bar - but I like the sound of that ! I would love to dine here in person but I'm still waiting for full vaccination; I want to be able to relax & enjoy it. I ordered takeout last night. I tried the highly rated " Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad " with Parmesan risotto cake and truffle vinaigrette. Did you know that Brussels sprouts are named after Brussels Belgium ? And that I usually can't stand them (the sprouts not Belgian people) ? Well this salad will make a Brussels sprout lover out of anyone - it's delicious! Five stars out of five for this fabulous salad. Truffle vinaigrette- yum. Can't wait to dine here in person - hopefully will be able to get a table !

    Hibiscus cocktail

Loved my meal there. Came on a beautiful fall evening and sat underneath the heated lamps. Didn't care that it was set up in the road either. Started off with a unique cocktail with Hibiscus. Just the right mix of sweet and sour. Moved on the prix fix meal. Of course I got the Brussels sprouts. And yes it was that good. Moved on to the branzino. Even though it too came with a salad it was very good. Delicate and the flavors matched perfectly. Finished with bread pudding. All for just $39. Great service too. About all you could ask for on a weekday night. Wasn't rushed either.

Sat in the front on a sunny afternoon. Music was solid. Drinks were nice. Food was better than expected. Server was super friendly. Other patrons were having a good time. Good vibes. ORDER THE EGGPLANT PARMESAN.

    Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad

This restaurant is such a staple on Greenwich Ave. I've been coming consistently since it opened years ago, and it never disappoints. Their bar is great too, they make a very good martini and have a wide selection of specialty cocktails. The menu has something for everyone and you can't make a bad choice. Make sure to start off with their famous shaved Brussels sprouts salad that's piled on a bed of crispy rice and the best crispy artichokes. Any of the entrees are fantastic, so choose what you're in the mood for. This time, I enjoyed their wood fired filet mignon special and it was perfect. The truffle mashed potatoes on the side were amazing too. My only complaint is this restaurant does get VERY noisy especially for dinner... they really should invest in some sound absorbers for the ceiling/walls, it would make such a big difference in the ambience. Harvest is great for lunch or dinner in big or small groups, you really can't go wrong!

Read the fine print and do the math.

Note the latest trick being employed to get unwitting customers (me) to tip more. Be careful when clicking the [20]% tip button, unfortunately it's necessary to confirm that it's based on the figure you were expecting. My tip ended up being 50% more than I expected. Food and service were fine, but this leaves a bad aftertaste.

The lunch special is awesome. The place is very noisy. I usually asked to be seated at the bar. It is nice to seat outside during the summer

The low light ambiance and music was definitely giving adults-only vibes. What I really liked was being able to talk and hear because the volume level of the music was just right. Our waiter was attentive and would check-in on us from time to time, ensuring our experience was the best. He had quite a friendly and genuine demeanor about him (sorry, I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and had dark hair). The margarita pizza, wine, and desserts (didn't have lava cake so I tried their chocolate mousse) were delightful to indulge. We also received a complimentary drink of choice on the house just because! I will definitely be coming back again and hope to bring other colleagues along for the Quartiere experience.

We started with some mocktails that were very good and the apple & pear salad that was also good. Our waitress also brought us some complimentary bread and herb butter. All good. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.

The weather wasn't ideal for a winery visit, but it was still a lovely experience. I'll definitely try to book a reservation again during the warmer months to enjoy it even more. Looking forward to exploring more options on our next trip!

Apparently it is an extremely popular place to spend a couple of hours and when I say a couple I mean that. They require reservations and a credit card to hold them and you may only stay for a specific period of time. If you make a reservation for 6 people and only 5 show up they will charge your card $25. We ordered wine, frozen drinks and a bottle of prosecco to start. The waitress was definitely overworked so didn't get any personal service. That was not her fault, it was packed! Something to keep in mind, they do not have mixed drinks. Of course it is a winery so they have their wine but my one friend was looking for a cocktail. I had the Sauvignon Blanc and it was mid. I also tasted the prosecco. We shared some hellishly expensive appetizers which were very good. I liked the pizza the best. We also had the pretzel and a charcuterie platter. I was expecting to be wowed, especially since they have their rules and regulations but for me, this place is for the "see and be seen" crowd so not my vibe and if you are looking for a low key romantic time, don't count on that, it was very crowded and loud. I think I would go back but maybe wait until possibly the fall.

The stuffed feta dates were the good balance of sweet and savory, and the eggplant dip was incredibly smooth and rich without feeling heavy. A little extra seasoning could go a long way with the dip! For mains, the salmon was beautifully cooked and well-seasoned, and the lamb shank was a standout--tender, deeply flavorful, and comforting in the best way. The falafel had a great crisp on the outside while staying soft inside. You can really tell they put care into each dish. What made the night extra special was the birthday surprise: the sweetest baklava presentation that felt so warm and personal. It was such a thoughtful touch. We also ended the night with cappuccinos, hot chocolate, and an affogato (not pictured), which were the perfect cozy finish. Overall, Shiraz Kitchen strikes a great balance between elevated and welcoming. It's the kind of place that feels just as right for a celebration as it does for a relaxed dinner. Would absolutely come back.
