I couldn't have been more wrong! This small store is stocked with carefully curated gems, including offbeat selections that I would have expected had the store instead been in Park Slope or Williamsburg. Inside you'll find bottles of Saint-Bris Sauvignon, Bedrock Old Vine Zinfandel and other surprises. The proprietor who was on duty when I shopped clearly loves his wines and was enthusiastic about every bottle that I touched. I walked away with a half-dozen bottles and fell in love with the first two that I opened when I returned home. Highly recommended!

The collard greens were on the sweet side, and the mac and cheese could have used a bit more flavor. The highlight of our visit was the service. Elwood was friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being overbearing. Overall, the food was a bit mixed for us, but the excellent service, family-friendly touches, and pleasant outdoor seating made for an enjoyable experience.
