We have been here many times with last night even more special. Our group of six was seated in the private dining room on the right when you first walk in. We felt like celebrities! Marco was our waiter and Sergio the owner paid us a lot of visits to us. The wine was great as was the service. The food was amazing as always. read more

Once a year we go here to give it another try. Same experience again! The decor needs a major renovation, so old and dated. The owner runs around the restaurant all night long looking frantic. The head waiter seems like a robot, before I was even seated he was asking what type of water we wanted and did we want a cocktail. He insists on explaining all the specials clearly printed on the menu. He was also sporting a bandaid on his face. Service is very rushed and the head waiter yells at the rest of the staff to do things, like clearing the tables. I found my veal with mixed mushrooms to be tough. My husband said his chicken was good. The fried calamari was tasty but we had to instruct the kitchen to prepare them well done and crispy. I think there was a lack of seasoning for all the food. I guess this is why we only go here once a year. There are plenty of better restaurants to try locally. This is a definite no! read more

Food came out pretty fast felt a little rushed, but the food was very good. Should've came out a little hotter, but I thought the food was very tasty. SERVICE was good and everyone was very nice. read more

Food was good, but the service was not there. No one knew who our waiter was, we had to flag down a few of the people working there. Finally after waiting for over 45 minutes someone came over to take our order. I don't think management was on site, clearly no one knew what they were supposed to do. Hopefully it was an off night, because everything else was ok. read more

Wow! We picked the Right Restaurant! Nice setting, Great food and Service was Exceptional! Enter to Attractive Table with decorations and Large Cheese with pieces already cut and Very inviting. They give you some with Bread and delicious Olive oil after you sit. The waiter when describing the Specials made Everything sound So Delicious that you want to order 1 of Each! Everything we ordered was Delicious and Excellent! Absolutely Recommended for a Delicious Night out! read more

Emilio's restaurant is absolutely exceptional! Everything about this restaurant you will love! Sergio and his team are absolutely fabulous. Went there for a birthday/ Christmas dinner and was treated like Queens! Everyone there is very friendly and professional. Can't say enough good things about the food, no matter what you order always on point. The food is so good. It compares to my Italian mother's food! It's almost like she's still here. If you go two Emilio's you will definitely not be disappointed at all. read more

Love the food and service , Sergio and they guys are awesome ! Great walnut cream sauce ravioli and osso bucco , I had an amazing halibut dish in a tomato broth that was so flavorful and lite I almost fell out of my chair , one of my favorite restaurants and possibly best Italian in westchester! read more

My first time since I was a kid and holy Hannah. What I have been missing! The food is incredible. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back! read more

Food was ok. Service was awful, never knew who our waiter was, one male waiter was rude, gave every departing table a small Pantone as a thank you. Not our table after spending $400. Drinks were not consistent either, bartender had to be told how to make them. Bright lights on, cold atmosphere, could have had some holiday music playing softly for this time of year. Won't be back. read more

Excellent place and great atmosphere and great homemade pasta dishes good for lunch and dinner

This was the first pizza joint I came to when I moved to Mamaroneck in 2018 and I continue to come here because the food is terrific, the staff is friendly and the prices are cheap...perfect all around! read more

Two words describe this restaurant...Flipped Out! The service is like no other. The food is perfectly displayed and tastes even better. Not salty or over saturated with sauces. This is undeniably the best Italian in Westchester. I will even give it an edge over Campagnola and give Il Muliano a run for the money, in NYC! Great time great food! Thank you! read more

Went to this place- the food was amazing. They had all their specials on a tray for you to view (not a lot of restaurants do this anymore.) They make you feel like family, would definitely return if I was in the area. read more

I drive in for White Plains because the food is good and excellent value. It's mainly takeout but with some seating (which I use).

I have been here at least 5 times and have had a consistent 5 Star experience every time. The chef/owner is warming and welcoming as soon as you enter leaving you with antisipation of the meal to come. The antipasto course is a must try, along with whatever fresh pasta is on special. If you're still hungry after that, try a veal or chicken dish. read more

Have dined here many times. Food is fresh, superbly prepared, and beyond delicious. I particularly recommend the pasta dishes. Waitstaff are attentive and efficient. Only complaint. The maître d'/proprietor (Sergio) makes you feel small for asking any question regarding the menu, food sourcing/preparation, and wine selection. Very condescending. Overall: Four stars (would have been five stars except as noted above.) read more

My family and I had dinner here last month-- my dad had been a few times and insisted we try it. We really, really enjoyed it! The place is a bit quirky and old fashioned in terms of atmosphere (kind of formal in a weird way, but not fancy, and there were drop ceilings, which I thought diminished the "nice" feeling a bit), and was a little too quiet for us at the beginning of the night, but by the end of the night it was full of diners enjoying themselves. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass and quartino-- I had the sauvignon blanc, which was very good. We started off with a selection of antipasti, which you choose from a cart that they bring to the table. I sampled the veal meatballs, eggplant caponata, artichokes, roasted peppers, and bruschetta, and everything was very well prepared. They also serve crusty bread and breadsticks with olive oil, olives, and a hard cheese. They had a number of specials for the entrees in addition to the regular menu, and there were so many things I wanted to try that I decided to get a half order of two different pastas. (They will do half orders of all pastas. Pastas are housemade.) One was a special... linguine with shrimp and clams sauteed with garlic and oil, which was fantastic, and the other was tiny ravioli stuffed with ricotta and swiss chard in a walnut cream sauce. Getting a half order of each was one of the best food decisions of my life, because each was exquisite in its own way. Other entrees at the table were the monkfish wrapped in prosciutto (good, but I'm not a fan of monkfish), pasta with plum tomato sauce, and the risotto of the day, which was with sweet sausage and mushrooms. Everything was great. I should note that they are a little heavy handed with the salt, but this is not a complaint. For dessert, we got the tartufo, which was served with a mountain of thick, sweet whipped cream, the cheesecake- a very light version, so good, a warm chocolate cake (boring), and some sort of pastry with blueberries. They had excellent coffee and cappuccino. Service was a little frenetic but very hospitable. The server who initially took our order was very knowledgeable about their offerings. It's a cavernous restaurant with numerous dining rooms as well as several different sized party rooms, and there appeared to be a huge party going on the back, so perhaps they were short staffed. I would say the prices are fair considering the portions and quality of the food. I was pleasantly surprised and I would definitely return. read more

My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night around 8 over a year ago without a reservation and were told that there was no way without a reservation they could seat us at all that night. We asked if we could eat at the bar and were told 'no, you cannot eat at the bar, we do not allow that' and the guy walked away and left us standing there like idiots. Last night I checked online to make sure they were open on Sundays and the site said the kitchen closed at 9. At 8:43 we pull up and this sloppy man in a chef outfit standing outside watched us park right in front and walk to the door (never stopping us) he goes inside ahead of us and when we get inside he says "can i help you" as if we had a flat and needed a telephone. When we asked for a table for 2 this rude man said "the kitchen is closed". when i told him i checked his website before leaving and the kitchen closes at 9, he says "Ten minutes.. you'd have have rush to order, eat and be out of here by then so there is no time". We eat out 5-6 nights a week and when a restaurant says the kitchen closes at 9, you are welcome to SIT and order up until that time... Apparently this moron should update his website to say we CLOSE at 9 - you must sit, order, eat and be the eff out by then.... maybe he knows how to cook but he has little business sense and even less personality. He must be doing very well to turn business away so rudely... read more

Emilio's is a keeper in my book. This is an authentic Italian restaurant that is family run. Every time I've been to Emilio's, everything is so enjoyable. Sergio knows anything and everything about wine and goes to Italy each year to choose the bottles he serves. The pasta is made fresh and always tastes incredible. The pappardelle with boar meat is one of those classic Tuscan dishes that is amazing every time. Sergio and the staff are always fun and friendly and really make you feel like part of the family as you eat there more and more. read more

Great little gem of a find. Went here on the spur of the moment when I came across it on Yelp. It looked like a quirky place on the outside- as there are not many pictures- but what a great find!!! Had a wonderful dinner with my husband. After being seated you get huge chunks of parmesan to pick on with some lovely bread. We had a 5 selection of the anti pasta- which they wheel a table over and you choose from a selection- , my husband had 2 half portions of pasta - short ribs with fettuccini and lamb ragú with the parpadelle- and I had the mushroom ravioli with truffle. All of it was delicious. Waiters were extremely attentive, in a very friendly way, and reminded me of the old places in little Italy in the 90's that don't exist anymore my husband said it reminded him of Italy. All the pasta is homemade fresh that day by Mama, Lidia, and her son, Sergio is the host and a great conversationalist- checking in with your table and more then happy to discuss anything from wine to cars. And I almost forgot, they wheeled out a beautiful selection of desserts, which we declined, but afterwards Sergio brought over 2 marscapone cheesecake "lollipops" dipped in dark chocolate for us to enjoy! So tasty! Definitely a place that feels like you are eating with family yet with those added special touches. Such a lovely place. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! read more

Emilio's Ristorante is so good. We've been going there for around four years now -- maybe 50 times plus I threw a bridal shower there --they have a party room. It's never disappointed. Taking out last night--the antipasto (a must order) and Vitello Campagna -- just, as usual, the best! read more

Emilio's deserves a resounding round of applause for ...well, everything. I will remember my dinner as one of the finest dining experiences in my young adult life. Grandpa was celebrating his 90th birthday (see picture) and so we arranged a dinner for our entire family in the large dining room. The owner was responsive to our needs and easy to get a hold of as we prepared for the dinner. Like royal family, we were all greeted with wine within 3 minutes of arriving. Like college, our wine glasses were always full. The wait staff attentively filled our glasses without ever having to request another glass. Like magic, they were at your side with your wine in hand. Thank you for keeping priorities straight, Emilio's! The night progressed at just the right speed, no rush. Warm and cold antipasti at arms reach were just too convenient. I could have filled up on the assortment of clams oregonata and veal meatballs and cheeses, lest I was not concerned with finishing my main course. We all had a delicious spring salad with blue cheese and fresh vegetables and a healthy portion of Emilio's finest meats for our main course. The mashed potatoes should be memorialized by the Harrison local government. My halibut might have been caught that morning. So light and fresh. Just perfect. I also recommend the veal and filet mignon. I am awed at the service and food from Emilio's. Perfect for family dinners, celebrations, and appreciation for delicious food. read more

First of all you can actually carry on a conversation without screaming. That's a big plus. An even bigger plus is the food is terrific as is the service. How we have managed to miss this restaurant in all our years of living about 30 minutes away is beyond me, but we will be returning very soon. read more

We have been living in the area for over 20 years and we wanted to give a second chance to this restaurant but ended up with total disappointment. Beginning with the waiter, he was one of the rudest we have ever encountered. He was very inattentive and we gave up on waiting and left before desserts, in the. Both the antipasti and the pasta dishes or below average. Poor wine list. The dining room was extremely hot, poor air conditioning, The air was still beyond belief during a pandemic. We will not be coming back and please save yourself time and money and skip this place. read more

Went to Emilio's on the 3rd for an anniversary dinner and had an amazing time! We will definitely be back! Everything was great- the food, the service, and the feel of the restaurant. I had the salmon special and my boyfriend had the butterflied pork special- we both devoured our entire plates which was impressive since we had been a bit gluttonous with the antipasto cart (amazing!) I would recommend this place to everyone! read more

Went to a wedding rehearsal dinner there in the back. Great service, nice place. The appetizer plates were stacked but mixing all those things (clams, prosciutto, olives, artichokes, peppers, etc etc) took its toll. The main entre was where they shone. I got the pumpkin angolotti di zucca! Wow. esquisite. Too small a portion though. I know it's fine dining, but, I could have used a few more. read more

I've been coming here my whole life. Best restaurant ever and amazing quality food and service!

I came here for a Christening dinner so I didn't dine in the main area (although it looked lovely!) but the food was SO good. WIne selection was great, everything we had for the appetizer was great and my main dish, chicken stuffed with asparagus, was drool worthy. I devoured it. Seriously, you're missing out if you haven't tried the food here! read more

called them to ask about hosting a bridal shower there, the woman said i had to talk to Sergio and to call back in an hour. Was at work and didnt have time until later and when I called back she said he was out again and to try again in a few minutes. in that i was at work and dont have time to call back every five minutes I asked if I could leave my phone number and he could call me back when he was available. she said no just call back in a few minutes, I said can I just leave my number because I dont have time to keep calling back because im at work? and she said no I wont be here then. I said no i just want to leave my number, and she HUNG UP!! HOW EXTREMELY RUDE CAN YOU BE?!?!?!?!?!?! why would i give you my business when you can't be bothered to WRITE DOWN A NUMBER?! do not bother with this place, I'm not sure who they think they are. read more

We went there on a quiet Sunday evening. The place has seen better days with tired decoration (plastic flowers instead of fresh), reduced flair (see antipasta table that is now a cart) and reduced charm (the "mom" owner at the bar who used to count the money!). The service has gotten a bit more brisk and pushy too. That said, the pasta is well prepared and the wine list is well varied and complements the dishes well. So? Eat pasta, lower expectations, and get used to eating with the older crowd. read more

The food had no flavor - So shocking that in a long-time, family-run Italian restaurant that the red sauce has NO flavor whatsoever - Some of the staff were gracious, but the older gentleman with grey hair, was horrible - No personality & is in the wrong business - No one ever asked us if we wanted more vino -The veal special was NOT special at all - Emilio's needs to shut-down; renovate the interior & completely re-vamp & modernize the menu - So much for old-fashioned home cooking - I could have done a better job & I don't cook!! - What a waste of $65/pp!! - I did like that the parking lot was HUGE, though... read more

We ate there August 15, 2014. It was awesome!! Sergio is the owner/chef and he is wonderful. We went to this restaurant 30 years ago a few times when his Dad was chef and then we just never went back. In the past six months we have been there several times and have never been disappointed with anything. His short ribs are to die for. The salads are so flavorful. I had the ribs and my husband had the salmon. The staff is very attentive. Great selection of wines reasonably priced too. Give this place a try, you will not be sorry. read more

We had my sister's bridal shower in the private room on a Sunday afternoon. The room is very spacious and has a bar in the room as well. The location is great considering people were coming from the city and far away. They have there own private parking lot which is great.. The food is amazing!!! We had appetizers walking around when our guests came in. The put family style hot and cold antipasto's on the table, which was a nice array of food. We had three choices for lunch pasta, chicken and salmon. Everything was cooked delicious. We didn't order the cake from here put they did have cookies on the tables for us. Everyone gave us great complements from the place to the food. Everyone had such a great time! Definitely want to go back for dinner on a regular night. read more

Just had lunch at Emilio's. About six weeks ago I was in Italy where the food was, of course, outstanding. Emilio's is up there with the very best restaurants we went to in Italy. On reflection, I'd say it was better than any of those where we ate and all were very good to exceptional. The owner is a wonderful and charming woman and her staff is superb. Good bar, too. They even had Cutty Sark, which few places carry these days. It was my first visit, but I'' be back. read more
