The service was very good . I loved my chicken bowl I even saved some of it and it taste really good even the day after. food is very delicious and fresh . Micheladas are so good too . I been to this location multiple times and I loved the food but they also need to improve the pozole cause I didn't really liked it but overall very delicious food with friendly staff.

Went here tonight. Food was good and I am likely to return. Pros: --friendly waitstaff --very good food --nice outside patio --full bar --tasty salsa Cons: --limited parking --waitstaff may forget about you --close quarters if you decide to eat inside

Tried this adorable restaurant for first time. You feel like you're in Mexico. decor very authentic. Food was very good. Chicken enchiladas with extra tomatillo sauce was very tasty and a large plate. Homemade salsa was quite good. Tried spicy pork tacos which were very flavorful. The carne Asada taco was very good as well as the shrimp. Everything was very fresh!! Shrimp was delicious as well as beef. Finished with flan which was silky and perfect. I'll be back!

Wednesday I was hungry by 8pm and wished to eat something delicious and it happened I decided to order from this place and I regret to cz they are terrible in accurate food as I got different from what I expected: ordered two Tortas Cubanas and I got chicken sandwiches , i called the.place and claim the right food and I never got what I ordered, probably I will never order again from this place as this is the third time it happened and never enjoyed they mistakes they always make.

The last time I dined at nearby City Limits Diner I noticed this place and took a mental note to try it. I needed to pick something up at Michael's last night so I decided to try here for dinner beforehand. From the outside, El Poblano doesn't look like it was originally intended to be a restaurant. It's on the first floor of a building, parking is limited to a few marked spaces in the building's lot, and the outdoor seating area is on a narrow rectangular porch area. It works, it just doesn't look like the space was fully converted into a restaurant. The inside is relatively small, but they make good use of the space. A few tables, a bar in the back, and a semi-open kitchen. We were started with the obligatory chips and salsa. These chips were super crispy, but I liked them - they weren't warm but kind of felt like they were house made (maybe??). The salsa was good too - finely chopped, not chunky at all. There's pretty good variety on the menu - your typical Mexican restaurant selection. Additionally, they serve breakfast and have a selection of tortas and seminas. I decided to go with the enchiladas rancheras; you have a choice of chicken or beef, and it's served with salsa, sour cream, lettuce, avocado, radish, onions, and grated cheese. The enchiladas were okay - the tortillas they're served in are corn, so the integrity of them can weaken after a while. The flavor was okay, but I will say it was kind of spicy. I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans the dish was served with, I've had better. Service was fast and friendly - they use iPads to take orders which helps with efficiency. They also don't have a soda fountain, so beverages are served in bottles (though they give you a cup with ice and will pour it out for you). There's nothing really wrong with El Poblano, but I wouldn't come up to White Plains just to eat here again - good if you're in the area, but not a destination restaurant.

Great food. Everything seems to be fresh. They take their time cooking it..! Service is ok! But their prices are getting ridiculous.

I was a little put off right from the start. We walked in and the two employees standing at the host stand gave us what I can only describe as the Gen Z stare. They literally just looked at us and didn't say anything. No hi, welcome, how many-nothing. Then, our server took our drink order and didn't come back for a long time. The lady who brought our drinks avoided eye contact to the point that it was awkward. When we did finally order, our food came out quickly. I got the meat and eggs, and chose chicken apple sausage (not a common option and nice to see), and upgraded to pumpkin pancakes as opposed to plain buttermilk. The pancakes and sausage were great, and the sausage serving was huge. I did have to send my eggs back to get them cooked a little more, but they were good as well. Our coffee and waters were empty for a really long time. Also, the food was extremely expensive. I've never seen $20 for a basic breakfast combo.

This restaurant was bustling on a Saturday afternoon. They have about seven or eight tables indoors…read moreand a couple tables outside. There were also several picnic benches around the side of the building, but I wasn't clear if they belonged to the restaurant. You order at the register and they call out your name when your food is ready. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as a great breakfast/brunch menu. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit was delicious. It was buttery and dense. The flavors were mild, but the sandwich was the perfect portion size. I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. They have free self-serve water and the employees were quick to wipe down tables so they were clean for the next party. Looking forward to coming again!

Going inside Grass Roots Kitchen was a breath of fresh air. The aesthetics put me in the mind of earth day and such beautiful paintings on the wall and flowers and greenery throughout. Grass Roots Kitchen offers have high tops dining as well as, regular dining, and outside dining. The dining area is pretty large, length wise and beautifully attractive. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit with the help of the cashier, I didn't get her name and it's on the receipt but I threw it out. Even though this was not a vegan dish, who could pass on a collosal cheese biscuit. The egg was a nice accompaniment to this cheese biscuit also. The lady that gave me the biscuits said, wow! That smells nice. I thought she was giving me a compliment on the order until I sniffed the bag. Normally I don't do well with my sense of smell but, boy oh boy! That was a gooooooood smelling biscuit. And the taste, it tastes so good, it makes you want to slap yo momma. (Don't do it, it just makes you want to slap her.) Needless to say, I really enjoyed this cheese biscuit. In hindsight I guess I could have grabbed a hot drink, maybe next time, and there will be a next time because I told the lady that this was my first time and at the restuarant and I'm new in the area.
