This place had friendly staff but the food was terrible. The chicken fajitas were season-less, my friend got tacos which were also unseasoned and my other friend got garlic shrimp that was a waste of time. For the amount of time we waited, you would think the food would be better. I don't really have anything else to say but I would not go here to be honest. I ordered my food three beef tacos and a side of rice and beans. The food was just okay nothing to rave about. I didn't like the sauce for the tacos. Idk why they don't just stick to the traditional salsa verde like most tacos places. The highlight of my meals was the complimentary chips and salsa they gave. I was also disappointed because I ordered for pick up because I was on the road and when finally able to eat there was no napkins or utensils in my take out bag. So if you order take out make sure they give you utensils because it was difficult eating my food. Overall I would not stop by this location again because the food was not memorable nor my take out experience. Dislikes stingy places that charge more the other locations. read more

Great Mexican spot in Mount Kisco. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Got the molcajete guacamole and the enchilada bandera. Both tasted pretty good. Excellent, authentic local Mexican restaurant! I've been coming here for years and am never disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly, the service is quick, the food (especially the fajitas) is delicious...what more could you ask for? I typically dine-in here, but I have ordered take-away a few times before and it has been a seamless process, as well. My go-to are either the chicken or the shrimp fajitas. The warm, house-made tortillas are mouth-watering! I also love that it is a small place. With only a few tables, the service is extremely quick and responsive, and it is never too loud in there. They do have a booth that can fit a larger group, and I have seen the staff put several tables together to accommodate a larger group before. Nevertheless, this is perfect for groups between 2-8 people. Street parking is available and easy to snag, and there is also a massive parking lot straight in front of the restaurant (paid unless it's a Sunday, depending on time of day). My family and I used to come to this place for years and we went back a few weeks ago after some kind of remodeling or new ownership???and I hate to be saying that I won't be coming back here again. First time we ordered nachos w chorizo and they did not come with chorizo. Then we proceeded to find a hair in the nachos. They gave us a new order but charged us for both?!?! Asides from that we ordered 3 orders of green chicken enchiladas and each one used to come with 3 but this time we only got 2 and one of them was steak when we asked for chicken. This steak was not specified in the menu unless they just did all 3 of our orders incorrectly. Restaurant itself was very modern and nice looking, staff was friendly and very apologetic but the food was disappointing. I don't think I'll ever be coming back here. read more

Although our drinks and food were slow to come out, the staff was attentive and kind. La azteca was recently renovated and me and my family came to try the food and see the new place. All the authenticity was taken out of it completely and it lost the "Mexican" feel, the posters of the inca gods were taken off and all the decoration was taken. Despite this we all hoped for new and improved foods. Me and my family came here 2 times since the renovation. The first time it was alright the food didn't exactly taste better and my family ordered a guacamole and we weren't even asked if we wanted anything added or not added to it and so we weren't even asked disappointed to see they had added onions , as most of my family does not like onions. On the second time we came we ordered our food since we were hoping for a quick meal, service was quick and the food didn't take too long. Problem became apparent when we were served. As i tasted the meat they had given I realized that it was rotten. I gave my father a try and he agreed so i ate the rest of the food but left the rest of the meal. When the server came to get our plated we informed her that it the meat had been rotten and that was the reason why it had been left, she told us that she would talk to the chef. Soon after she appeared with a desert "on the house" and no update about the meal. When the check came we were forced to pay for the meal, but it is safe to say we will never be coming back. We went for Cinco de Mayo. It took over 3 hours to get our food(came at 6:30- main course served at 8:50. And my food was awful. I had pork frajitas- it looked like the just threw scraps into it- of course, didn't come out sizzling- and had to change beans and tortillas, as they weren't what I requested- and I had to ask for the guacamole and sour cream - waitress asked me if I wanted them! Super yummy and incredibly lovely staff. We visited with our cranky toddler and the waitstaff were super accommodating. We had the guacamole, enchiladas suizas, pollo con mole, and kid's meal taco plate. I loved my enchiladas, and while I don't eat meat, was really impressed with how adorable the presentation was on the chicken taco for my toddler. Fast forward a year, We decided to give them another try (7 tries) and so far so good!! The place is cleaned up and they have someone taking orders that speaks clearly and carefully takes your order. We've tried their tacos, fajitas, burritos. The tacos have plenty of meat but the burritos are really light on meat. Their chicken and streak are a little dry and too well done but their Tinga and chorizo are good. We used to go there a lot then they started getting our orders wrong and the place looked unclean so we took a long break but glad we decided to give them another try, now we order from them once a week. After we walked out one day we thought we were over charged. We told them the next time we picked up how much we were charged and what we ordered. They calculated how much it should have been and gave us cash back. There's a lot to be said for solid customer service!! read more

My dish was good. I had steak a la carbon. My husband did not like his. the meat was very fatty. The Guacamole made at the table as good. Service was a little spotty. Had to ask twice for some things, but she wAs apologetic. Was. not extremely busy. However, the table next to us had a kid coughing the whole night and never once covered his mouth. Then he was walking a round the restaurant and coughing. It was frustrating. I feel that a staff member should have asked the parents to have him sit, as we were pretty annoyed when he was standing over our table coughing. He was not a toddler. read more

Azteca is great! We have been coming here for years and it's our go-to Mexican restaurant. There are lots of vegetarian options--chiles rellenos, spinach burritos, veggie chimichangas--and they are all generous and filling. Rice and beans is served with most entrees and it is probably my favorite part of the meal. Some of the entrees can be salty but now I simply ask for the dish to be prepared without salt.
