Had an awesome night at Tipsy Taco Bar! I tried the Tipsy Margarita flight, and the blood orange margarita was easily my favorite, super fresh and perfectly balanced. For dinner, I had the paella, packed with flavor and loaded with seafood, and we ended with the lava cake, rich and gooey, the perfect sweet finish. My friend had the wild salmon dish, which he loved, and ordered The Volcano drink, it was literally lit on fire at the table for an awesome display that totally added to the fun vibe. We went for dinner and drinks with a colleague. It was a friday night but it was surprisingly empty at around 7-7:30. The margs were good and I appreciated the flavor options. I also appreciate that they have more than the typical Mexican fare. They had some vegetarian and vegan bowls which were interesting. I ordered something with quinoa and beans that was pretty good. They accommodated my request for no egg. My dining companions ordered chips with salsa and guac and I tried a chip, nothing special about it. It was thicker and a little "harder" than what I would prefer. The bad is that the service is abhorrent. It took a very long time to even get menus. Two of us had drinks from the bar but the one person who ordered at the table had to wait probably 15-20 minutes for her drink to come. We almost went to the bar to just order her one from there. Nobody ever asked if I wanted another drink after mine was obviously empty. We sat with empty plates for quite a while before anyone came to clear them out. No one came to offer the check. The Resturant is cozy and very clean! Parking can be tough since it's located near a busy UPS store. They share the parking lot with UPS and a liquor store. While they we had chips and guacamole, tacos and soup. The tacos were okay! The chips were very thick and not tasty. The guacamole lacked a lot of flavor (ex lime, salt) The tortilla soup also did not have any flavor at all. On a side note : A random hair was found in the soup. The drinks were okay but nothing I would rave about. The server was sweet and deserved 5 stars. He was attentive and tried to make up for the hair in my soup by offering a free dessert! Cute restaurant and good menu. Parking lot was pretty bad. Very small and crowded, but there is complimentary valet and plenty of parking across the street if you don't mind walking. Menus are on iPads, though you still order from a waiter. Our waiter was friendly. Drinks took a while to come (our appetizer arrived before drinks), and were not that strong. The spicy margarita was actually spicy, which was a plus! They also had a lot of ice so it wasn't much to drink. Nachos were tasty and had good toppings. My burrito was also really good. One of the best Mexican restaurants that I've experienced. This restaurant has absolutely EVERYTHING you could ask for (friendly staff, great food presentation, fresh ingredients, clean interior, fabulous drinks, and reasonable prices). First.... the traditional margarita was refreshing, strong, and nicely presented. Our appetizers were amazing. This was the first time that we were offered the corn appetizer off of the cob and it was perfect. The Mexican Tortilla Soup was delicious and had an incredible cauldron shaped bowl. The chicken and shrimp burrito bowls were prepared so nicely. Each item was individually placed throughout each bowl and each entree was tasty. The restaurant had incredible decorations, beautiful wall art, and a very appealing outdoor seating area (with heating lamps). Not only is this restaurant top notch, but they also have a food truck! They've thought of everything and I wish them the best. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and we will definitely return, when we're back in the area. Finally, a restaurant/bar that caters to the young professionals. For so long, many of the restaurants near Mt. Kisco were geared towards families or grade schoolers. This place felt youthful, vibrant but still sophisticated. Great for dates or catching up with friends over one of their delicious and deceptively strong Margaritas. It does get a bit kitschy at times when it felt like half of their menu is brought out in flames or some sort of presentation. The food was ok. We got the tacos with steak which I thought was a bit salty. I had the beef consommé taco and the Baja shrimp taco (although what they brought was the Baja fish). The beef taco was spectacular and the consommé they bring on the side is perfectly light but flavorful. The fish taco was ok. We went on a Friday night and it was busy, busy, busy. They don't take reservations for parties under 4 - we were 3. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. The staff is very friendly and it seems they interact (and some to be close friends) with the patrons also which always means that it's a local spot. read more

I paid $5 for 8 pieces of steak fries 2 Chicken Tinga that was smaller than the size of my palm and so salty that I had to throw them away. 2 Ground Beef Taco's and paid for 2 flour tortilla that I never received. What I received instead was a tablespoon of cool ground been on 2 pieces of lettuce sprinkled with cold cheese. Another dish in the garbage. Paid for chips and salsa. Wow so many things about this place. First we ordered chips and guacamole. They never brought it out. I had to remind them and then they brought it out with our meal. Second we orders the yuka fries just to try them because they looked good. I kid you not the photo and what we got looked like two different items. For appetizer we got the beef empanadas and the nachos. The beef empanadas were good, they had a lot of flavor and a nice crunch. As for the nachos, the pork carnitas that comes on the nachos was amazing. The presentation of them was pretty cool. My only suggestion would be to layer the toppings a little. There were a lot of chips and not enough toppings to go around. We also ordered tacos .. of course! My boyfriend was very pleased that they had hard taco shells as an option, they also offer lettuce wrapped. We ordered Birria and consommé, carne asada, baja cod, Brussels sprouts, short rib, pork belly and al pastor. The birria and consommé was amazing, the pork belly was great as well. I stopped by with a friend on a Thursday afternoon. We found parking easily however I had been to another store at this shopping strip and it gets pretty busy. I guess you could park on side streets .. so be aware of the parking situation. Service was impeccable. The restroom was clean. The decor is very cool .
