    Mango cheese cake

This is a restaurant where I wish I had 3 stomachs! Everything was so delicious! I had chicken Madeira, and my husband ordered the rib steak chimichurri. Both came with asparagus and mash potatoes. My husband and I picked from one another plates, and my goodness, our taste buds were screaming with joy! We later had the mango cream cheese, which they made, and it was the most delicious, fluffy, creamy, cream cheese i've ever had. It just melted in my mouth! The owner, Wilmer, was attentive and kind. I love the vibes and atmosphere of the restaurant. We came here due to multiple recommendations. I will definitely be back!

    Watermelon cooler and smoky cucumber

Tried Monarca for the first time tonight and we were very pleasantly delighted to find this hidden gem right in downtown Kisco across the street from the train station! The space is very nicely done with tasteful decor and a very pleasant ambiance. The owner is very nice and made us beautiful drinks. The food was delicious, we got the burrata pesto flatbread (so so yum) and the hungry burger to share, and wow did it hit the spot. So tasty and well crafted, I would definitely recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

Blood orange margarita and mango mojito

Came for happy hour. Unfortunately we were the only patrons there. Tried the blood orange margarita and mango mojito, both of which were good. My fiancée also tried the peach sangria. Had a good peach flavor, but a little too sweet for my liking. We got the cheesy fries, which were fine. I honestly would have preferred a queso sauce, or melted shredded cheese instead of cheese sauce. The fries were crispy and had good flavor. We also shared the beef empanadas, which were okay to me but my fiancée really enjoyed them. They didn't taste like traditional empanadas. The filling seemed to have more potato filling than shredded beef. I was expecting a picadillo style beef filling. I'll come back and try out their entrees/brunch. When you look at the menu, it's a little all over the place. I'm not sure what vibe they're going for...are they Latin or italian or both?

I've since lost most of my wolf tendencies, or so I think. but my howl is still powerful when dusk turns to dawn. Now? I've cultivated a remarkable a diverse life for myself. I own a mule, his name is Pacchero. He's 800 lbs. I explore traditions through my mouth, my tongue, my esophagus. I try Georgian food on a Saturday at 3PM just because, why not? Hopefully Russ Westbrook and his Ninja Turtle buddies don't come fine me for the trademark steal. Oh well, I'm cultured (or so they say) and THEY can't stop me. Badageoni, in the Kisc, has a very nice interior. A bar, deep sea of tables and a nice overall darkish vibe. Right downtown, on a corner, where the greats are made. Little stick ball with Willie Mays, don't say no. Say hey, kid. I'm inexperienced in Georgian cuisine, and mildly unfamiliar but relatively familiar with their history and livelihood. I have a few Georgian acquaintances and friends. Good people. Princes, princesses from what I hear. And I recall hearing of Khinkali through these winding and never ending channels that seem to lead their way through or to me. Life. What a thing. So I got an order and some Ojakhuri as well. I feel spectacular just typing these Georgian words out. Who do I think I am? Anyways. The Ojakhuri was actually solid, tasteful BUT it seemed like something I'd rather make at home rather than order from a restaurant and that's my overall takeaway from my trip and is why I tossed 4 instead of 5 stars. However. I love dumplings. I love dumplings from every and from all cultures. I need a second go to confirm, but I believe (HOT TAKE ALERT) Khinkali are the superior form of dumpling on the planet. Yes, I did say that. I have some more ethnic dumplings to try but this has taken a big jump on the list to number 1. I've never been to Antarctica, who knows what type of dumplings the polar bears are hiding. And before you lose your minds on me, it's a joke. It is an ***** joke. I know Polar Bears aren't in Antarctica, do you think I'm that much of a bottom feeder? Geez you guys need to give me a break - take me with a grain of salt and sprinkle on some pepper. The space is modern, warm, and understated. Everything we ordered was excellent. The panisse was golden and crisp on the outside, soft and creamy in the middle. Every plate felt carefully put together, with classic French techniques and just enough creativity to make each dish feel special. And then there was dessert. The profiterole was the perfect ending to the meal--a light, airy pastry filled with ice cream, covered in a crisp hazelnut shell, and finished with a smooth chocolate glaze. It had the perfect mix of crunch, creaminess, and rich chocolate, but somehow still felt light enough that you wanted every last bite.

It was bright and sunny outside, but traditionally dark and well worn inside. You order at the bar and they bring everything to your table. Owners were very nice as you'd expect. I got their house bitter cask ale. Very good however please note this is close to room temperature than a typical cold beer; I personally love the style and this was a good example. My son doesn't understand that British people call fries chips, so we ended up having to get him French fries and potato chips. They luckily had the latter, even if they didn't have plain ones, so we got him ketchup-flavored chips that of course he proceeded to barely eat (they were actually good). He did like the French fries/British chips, and my wife liked her breakfast sandwich even if it was a bit heavy for her. My fish and chips were really freaking good. Sizable piece of fish (haddock), nice and crisp, with a ton of chips and lots of sauces (spicy mustard, vinegar, etc). Maybe not my favorite fish and chips ever, but it hit the spot. Would come back here in a heartbeat, especially where I could relax and drink a bit more. Completely understand why they are recognized as a top bar in the US.
