Came into restaurant around 8. Was ignored by waitstaff and took forever to get menus. Waited for 45 minutes and still have not gotten food. Told them we wanted to pay for our drinks and leave and our food is miraculously ready. I get that Friday's are busy but there is no reason our table should have been ignored for more then 45 mins. I am terribly sorry to have to write this review. This place have the worst service and marginal food. I am willing to wave off the long wait for the menu after we got seated and even the long wait for the food. After a long wait, the fajita came half complete without the tortilla and my Enchiladas came without its stated accomaniments ( rice and beans). After ordering, another lady came and asked if we need or want anything else; at which I asked about their margarita offerings. She said someone will come with information on the margarita. No one did until way later. I ordered the guava, which came extemely sweet even for someone who loves sweets. I took two sips and informed them that its yoo sweet as I can not drink the rest of it. Just had lunch there with my son. Fresh made chips and salsa when you sit down. We started with a bowl of chili that looks like it could feed 4(took half home). He had Huevos Rancheros and I had Torta Azteca. A skirt steak sandwich which was unbelievable. Got out of there around $30 deep. So prices are very fair. I Ordered the Charola Poblanita. I also ordered 3 crunchy tacos. The lady told me the tacos are $3.00 each and the charola Poblanita is $14.00. When I picked up the order, the lady asked me if I wanted anything else. I asked for guacamole just to make sure it was included as some restaurants forget. After giving her my credit card, I noticed I was paying $29.00 instead $23.00. When I asked her why? She said the guacamole is $3.00. I told her that it's supposed to come with Guacamole. She just smiled and giggled. I was too tired to deal with it. When I got home, I rechecked the menu and guacamole is supposed to come with it. The guacamole was packed in one of those mini plastic containers you get when restaurants give you ketchup on the side. I can't believe they charged me $3.00 for something that should have come with the meal anyway! To me, it's like paying extra for the shoelaces when buying sneakers or extra for the remote when buying a tv or paying extra for the steering wheel when buying a car or the roof when buying a house. I was the only anglo in the restaurant and everyone was glued to the soccer game on the giant TV - always a good sign (for food if not service). Service was actually okay, though they were doing such insane volume for take out/delivery that it took a while even though the restaurant itself wasn't full. Chips were so stale you could break a tooth on them but the salsa was tasty - smoky and good heat level (which was true for everything - clear sinuses but not bring tears to your eyes). Came here with my family on a Sunday for a lunch after church. We took advantage of the patio and the beautiful day it was outside by sitting outside at first. A waitress briefly greeted us and gave us some menus but after waiting outside for about 15 minutes no one came to take our drink order or anything. So we decided to go sit inside and finally ordered our food shortly after. The service overall was pretty slow from when we first ordered to getting our check. We spent a lot of time waiting for service/food/the check which was not what we want when we sit at a restaurant. Even though, there seemed to only be 2 servers working, this place isn't even that big. However, their amazing food makes up for some of their lack of service. I had ordered the shrimp fajitas and ate every bite. We also ordered some guacamole to have with the chips they give at the beginning and it was totally worth the extra $8. The rice and beans that come with the meal were also a delight and I instantly wanted more once I had tried them. The food here is much better than competing restaurants in the area such as Mariachi Loco or Inca & Gaucho. Their service just needs some improvement but their food is honestly why they deserve the 3 stars. read more

Although the person who answers the phone for takeout orders rarely speaks even close to fluent English, I have become a huge fan of their speciality sandwich, the "Cemita Poblano" (minus the mayo) for lunch, as I work nearby. I'm not a big pork guy, but this sweet pork (marinated with pineapples) sandwich, mixed with fresh sliced avocados and cilantro, is a great mix of flavors and really satisfying...for just $7! read more

The food is always great here. The juices aren't always fresh though; they are rancid so you have to be careful. I have sent some back and they never give you an issue. We went here for a lunch date with our friends. We could not believe how delicious it was! Absolutely fresh. Best soft tortillas made in house, great fresh guacamole with homemade tortilla chips, and we both got the giant quesadillas. Holy cow/ it sure is giant! Appetizer arrived at the same time as our entrees: my biggest pet peeve. Liked that different tacos could be ordered a la carte. Most places only allow two or three of one variety, which never makes sense to me. Salsa and chips very fresh and tasty. Sangria was great and a generous pour. One of our party was unimpressed by her salad; the other thought her enchilada was "wet." Third person enjoyed his burrito. This place has solid Mexican food specializing in dishes from the state of Puebla. I particularly like their sopes as the corn shells are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. You can choose your protein and it is typically topped with beans, avocado, queso fresco, crema, and your choice of salsa. I also like their menudo (beef tripe soup) which has an amazing broth with a nice amount of heat. Wash it all down with their horchata drink. I loved this restaurant. The food was delicious. First off, the salsa for the chips was very good. For my entree, I ordered the fajitas poblanas and they were honestly the best fajitas I've ever had. They had chicken, shrimp, steak, poblano peppers, onions, tomatoes, and it was all topped off with melted Oaxaca cheese. The fajitas came with a side of beans, rice, guacamole and tortillas.
