I stopped in for a sandwich and boy am I glad I did! I decided on the Bronx bomber and my friend got the Bronx tale. All I can say is wow! The sandwiches came out toasted and perfectly crisp. My Bronx bomber, roast beef on a garlic wedge with melted cheddar and onions and peppers was absolutely delicious. Sandwiches are large so I took half home. The Bronx tale, which had chicken cutlet pesto sun-dried peppers and provolone was equally delicious! I loved everything about the sandwiches, but next time, I will definitely get it on the seeded bread! I think that would be outstanding! Everyone working behind the counter is friendly, fast-moving and really nice. It's a really clean establishment and I will be back soon! It definitely fulfilled the craving I was having!

Sensational subs at this place! Was in town for a business trip and needed a quick bite. This spot came HIGHLY recommend from my coworkers and it was easy to see why. Subs were prepared with live in fresh Italian bread with perfect chew factor, meats were luxuriously tender and supple to the tooth, loved their seasoning on the Italian roast beef inside my Bronxe Bomber. Will DEFINITELY be back soon!

I heard from the grapevine that Casa D'italia was absolutely delicious and it definitely did not disappoint! The sandwiches had such quality ingredients that really elevated the meal. I've eaten sandwiches at places like EATLY in manhattan, and this place is WAY better! Definitely will be coming back!

10/10 every time! The people who work here are very nice and the line, although long, moves quickly!

Chicken Cutlet, Fried Zucchini, Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella, Sharp Provolone, Extra Pesto & Balsamic Glaze on a well-pressed club roll.

Chicken Cutlet Sandwiches are common, but not like these. Worth the ride, the wait, the fight for parking does suck but call your order in ahead of you don't have the time. Never a bad thing had here, and the freshest homemade ingredients. The owners & workers alike are great and it's all about that one word....Consistent! All the sandwiches are top notch. The Meatballs & Cutlets like grandma's. We've had them do sandwich platters for events as well and nothing lacks whatsoever. Casa is where it's at, a Gem in the Sound Shore on Halstead.

Chicken alla Nonna hero. Check out that stretched fresh mozzarella!

What...an...AH-mazing...sandwich! I'm typing this review one handed and munching on the Chicken alla Nonna hero in the other. I have to devour it all, it is just so tasty! At first I didn't think it would be very good and a little pricey. A chicken cutlet sandwich with mozzarella & ham was not making me shake in my boots. After my first bite, the clouds parted, the sunbeam shone down and I was addicted! The chicken was seasoned oh-so-right, the fresh mozzarella is melt-in-your-mouth gooey goodness and the ham right there to accentuate the chicken and complement the cheese. After several bites, I noticed there was no dressing or sauce and the chicken's moistness was carrying the whole sandwich. The crusty fresh bread just made it more incredible. Can't wait to try every sandwich on the menu!

Got the Italian Stallion and the small cannolis. The sandwich was absolutely delicious! The cannoli shell was a bit too crispy for my liking, but the filling was delicious.

One of the best delis I've ever been to. NY has a lot of great delis and this one can compete with any of them. They don't do much besides sandwiches, but they are phenomenal. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. It's very clean and well run. This was my first time here and they should be expecting me back very soon.

They have several tables in the front and additional seating in the back. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating. To drink, I had a mocktail. I was worried it would be too sweet because it included sprite and cranberry juice, but it was actually very pleasant and bursting with flavor. For my main, I had the frittata. It was tasty. Some of the broccoli rabe was a little tough to chew, but not too bad. It was topped with a generous portion of cheese. I loved the tender mushrooms. My husband got the cozze. The portion of mussels was large and he enjoyed the sauce. We also shared the cinnamon french toast, which was delicious. It didn't even need syrup as it was perfectly sweet with the cream and berries on top. Even so, they had several syrups to choose from including amber and maple. Looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu.

Shared three appetizers: grilled octopus, Puntarelle salad and the mussels in a smoked tomato sauce. Everything was delicious but the mussels were superb. The entrees we tried were the gemelli, gnocchi with lamb neck and the paperdelle with duck ragu. These were also well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed a bottle of Oddero Nebiolo which enhanced every bite.

We were given crusty bread with olive oil, and a thin, crispy flatbread. My wife had two appetizers, meatballs and artichokes. I had orecchiete with sausage and broccoli rabe. All dishes were plentiful and tasty, though the tomato sauce for the meatballs seemed rather underseasoned. The orecchiete dish was on the oily side, but tasted good, and the waiter added grated cheese and ground pepper at my request. We passed on dessert, but my wife enjoyed her Montepulciano wine. We agreed that we would consider dining here again. Prices are on the high side, but not unexpectedly so.

We will usually stay with a spot for a few years, grow tired of it, and then try somewhere new. That is what brought us to 25 North. For the preceding three Easters, we were at another restaurant in Westchester - however it grew stale. I decided to look at other options, and remember having a great meal here at 25 North back in 2018 when I originally wrote my review. That being said, we booked it and made plans to dine here for Easter Sunday dinner. As I expected being a holiday, I walked into a crowded and loud restaurant. The layout is interesting - the dining room is separated into three levels with a small flight of stairs separating each of them. We were seated on the top level of the dining area, which was the best place in my opinion as it was the quietest- we were 19 people and only two other tables were in our vicinity. Decor was inoffensive - typical Westchester Italian restaurant aesthetics. What I liked about the Easter service at 25 North was that we were able to order off the regular menu - though they did have a few specials for the holiday. We decided to order apps family style for the table: drunken clams, string bean salad, sausage and broccoli rabe rolls, and fried calamari. These were all solid; the drunken clams were by far my favorite - super flavorful sauce and served with sausage and big cloves of garlic. The weakest IMO were the sausage and broccoli rabe rolls - I will say its partly because I expected more of a bread roll, but these were like egg rolls which made them a little to greasy for me. The sauce it came with though was tasty with a mild heat. For my main I got one of their specials - crab stuffed shrimp. This was six generally stuffed shrimp served on top of spinach in a light sauce. I really liked this dish - even though it looked like a lot, the crabmeat was light and the spinach made it so I didn't feel stuffed after finishing the dish. For dessert, I had tiramisu - on the menu they described it as a slice of goodness and that's exactly what it was. Service was great - they were on top of it and made sure food came out at a good pace and we were fully taken care of. Overall, my holiday experience at 25 North solidified my opinion that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester. I'll definitely be back sooner rather than later.
