SO GOOD. Everything is extremely fresh and high quality. The staff is very friendly. I got a sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. Homemade mozzarella and meat cut fresh for every sandwich. Unreal. Only thing is they do not have gluten free bread like some other reviews may suggest. They can make any sandwich into salad.

I had a great welcoming experience coming here. People were friendly, place looked clean, and the wait wasn't too long to get a sandwich considering I came at lunch time. I got the "Italian Meatballs" panini and it was so delicious and enough for to meals. Worth what I paid for because flavor, crunch, and size were great!

Omg - letter I on their menu!

Wow! Just wow. It doesn't get any better than this! Dante is THE BEST Italian American deli that I've tried in all of the greater NYC region. So if you located in the boroughs, it is DEFINITELY worth the trek up to the White Plains / Scarsdale area to check this gem out! What to check out: - You can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches, paninis, or wraps! Oh, and they are HUGE! Try the Italian Rosemary Ham Panini or the IL Piccolo Fabuloso... but, honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them! - The fresh prepared food! Are you ready for a flavor explosion? You can't go wrong with anything here. Standouts include the Vegetable Risotto and the Stuffed Peppers (get the ones with sausage). - The Italian food imports. Dante features a huge selection of import food items from Italy ranging from sauces, to pastas, to cheeses, and meats... just to name a few of the categories they carry. But go in and see for yourself. Their selection of both staples and gourmet items is quite large. I could go on and on about this place, but I think you likely get where I'm going with this review. This place is really first-rate, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!

Finally stopped in here for lunch. Such a cute Italian grocery/deli store. Everything looked so good. They had lots of options from specialized Italian grocery items to variety of cheeses, salads, olives, etc. They had a lot! Definitely worth a visit. Our paninis were delicious. The chicken and fig was so good. Everyone was friendly and nice. I will definitely be back.

Wow. Dante's has some very delicious wraps. In simplest terms, their ingredients taste very fresh. Nothing terribly fancy. Just plain good food.

Absolutely amazing Jewish deli! I could eat there every day!!…read more The traditional salads and sandwiches were perfect. Could have been in NYC and it would not have been any better.

Kind of unexpected, and not complex flavor at all. The soup didn't have any discernible flavor. Not bad, but certainly not great. Half sour pickles: again, kinda underflavored. Cut in slices rather than served whole (i think i got one whole pickle--pretty stingy). Cole slaw: this was actually quite good and the highlight of the meal. Egg cream: not enough seltzer while still being kinda meh flavorwise. Pastrami sandwich: the meat was somewhat dry and lacked that peppery pastrami flavor you expect from, what?, pastrami. The bread wasn't very fresh so I ended up not eating much of the bread. Small sandwich for $28 or $29. Potato knish: perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. Again, though, not much flavor or seasoning. Overall, my meal cost $55 before tip and I'd get a better meal of all the same at any diner in New Jersey. Decent, but not worth coming back with so many better options out there.

City Line has always been hubs' first line of defense when it comes to his sandwich needs. But this time, he placed an order a week prior for a Grilled Chicken Cutlet 3' Sandwich with Roasted Peppers, Lettuce and Mozzarella and an Italian-style one to bring to a Jones Beach party. Grilled Chicken sandwich had the spotlight plus everyone raved about how refreshing it was. Other folks also enjoyed the Italian style 3' sandwich prepared real nice with thinly sliced deli meats. I'm not a meat eater but I do appreciate a damn good looking sandwich that's been well thought of- like they put their whole foot in it. These guys at City Line thought of everything: heavy-duty board (of some kind) is used to balance the heavy ašš sandwiches in place while you're in transit. Bread slices weren't the biased cut or straight either you usually get from other delis. Theirs are cut into Triangles from tip to tip. Then they're wrapped super tight and sealed. The box itself is secured in all angles and taped on the ends and middle. Damage you wanna know? About $100. We've done Stop & Shop's version of their 2' sandwiches- but they're boring. Thanks a lot City for hooking us up!
