It was my favorite! The last two times I ordered it the rice has been completely mushy and nasty. The broccoli almost looks expired or bad, tasted horrible! The steak tasted as if it was precooked, very rubbery texture. It's just really frustrating that twice I ordered this and it happened again and again. So honestly I will not be giving them another chance. Disgusting.... Waste of money. It was nice when it first opened fresh and delicious now it's like rushed and precooked which is nasty. Will not be coming back. Very sad...

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Aesthetically, each table feels like a meal at a family dinner table; it's clear that they wanted that vibe to be translated, and it's done quite well. This is also supported by the service being very friendly and helpful in general. To eat, I had the French toast burger with sweet potato fries. Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.

Also their chipotle mayo is made in house and is very good. URGENT: Get Delivery, don't parking I am updating this review because I got Crotty's yesterday and it was amazing yet again but I learned If you park in McDonalds parking lot (because it is near Crottys) a man with no tow truck boots your car and demands $50 cash to unboot it as its private property as you can't leave the property even if you get McDonald's too. Don't roll the dice and avoid Evil Scammers/crowded streets and simply order delivery from Crotty's. Any delivery fees from the apps are well worth it. If you are in Iona college or high school there are discounts. If it is walking distance for you I 100% think you should check it out in person too. No one can keep me from getting the best cheesesteak ever!!! 5 stars!!!

I would recommend chicken over their new 'jerk chicken' personally. Lamb is good. You can mix and match half-half. As a condiment connoisseur, I recommend the white and green sauce. I'm not entirely sure what they are, but they're definitely a crowd favorite as other customers expressed their shared opinion with me. Orange and red sauces are spicy as you can imagine. Orange sauce is spicy enough for me, and this is coming from an Asian person that usually loves spice. Red may get you looking for some water. After coming here many times, I admit that it can feel a little odd when you pay because some serves will try to peak to see if you tip. The veggie-licious burger was filling. The vegan cheese had nice texture and actually tasted like cheddar. I loved that they had so many options for toppings.
