Space Grill is an exceptional Halal restaurant. Admittedly, I always get the platter, and it does satisfy well. In a platter, you get Basmati Rice in a decently sized tray enough for 1. Then choose some veggies like lettuce, onion, cucumber, tomato's. Sometimes, the lettuce looks a little old so be mindful of that along with the other vegetables. Then is a your choice of meats. I would recommend chicken over their new 'jerk chicken' personally. Lamb is good. You can mix and match half-half. As a condiment connoisseur, I recommend the white and green sauce. I'm not entirely sure what they are, but they're definitely a crowd favorite as other customers expressed their shared opinion with me. Orange and red sauces are spicy as you can imagine. Orange sauce is spicy enough for me, and this is coming from an Asian person that usually loves spice. Red may get you looking for some water. After coming here many times, I admit that it can feel a little odd when you pay because some serves will try to peak to see if you tip. I've ordered delivery from here, and it's always been hot and fast. Tasty too! This time we went inside and sat down to eat. It's not a fancy place. Basic, but funny paintings of space, with little jokes written on the wall. Clean. The food is still awesome! Their chicken over rice is still dynamite, smothered in red and white sauce. Just recently I tried Halal food for the first time in NJ and I was HOOKED! I was craving it and figured New Rochelle didn't have any Halal places, so I looked up where the closest place would be. So I ordered a Philly cheese steak from this place . First time I tried it was amazing . Second time I ordered it I decided to look at my food as I'm opening the sandwich I notice little pieces of aluminum foil in the sandwich no biggie right ?? Ordered it again asking for them to not cut it in half but it was cut in half . Again aluminum foil on it . Ok today ordered got my food and aluminum foil on it . Space grill should definitely consider using something else when cutting it and then wrapping it in aluminum foil that dangerous as a consumer please reconsider a different way of cutting through . read more

Their green sauce is zesty and wonderful! I also love the topping options. Had my combo plattet with cucumber, onions, lettuce, corn and jalapenos (didn't need the jalapenos, to be fair), but the flavor combination was out of this world! Veggies were ultra fresh and love the way they are diced so that you can mix them into your food easily. We also tried their French fries. Excellent toppings (salad component). I had tomato, cucumber, chickpeas, jalapeño, red onion. Other choices available. Great sauce choices. I had white and green. My server described the green sauce as a cilantro based, slightly sour sauce. That description was spot on and delicious. The hot sauce at most of these places blows my mind. But they have one called Spacy sauce which is a little milder but still good spice. She was nice enough to give me some on the side. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. I was able to order food as soon as i walked in. I asked for a chicken over rice. I like the fact that they had variety of olives, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, hot peppers, green peppers and etc. I also had white sauce on top and on the side. They have many other sauces. The one that called me attention was space chill which is perfect with there wings. The young lady at the register was really nice and polite. The food was amazing. I went out with some friends and we were starving and we heard about this place. Food was very good and plenty, pricing wasn't too bad either. The man that served us was very sweet and he didn't rush me even though I was a little indecisive. The place isn't very big, but they have nice art work on the walls it's different, also next door is a club/lounge thing so you can hear the music through the walls.
