First time here and wish i took pictures of everything. From the moment you walk in you feel like younare at a friends home, the service is exceptional. The food is full of flavor and portion sizes are perfect, recommendations are given on how to enjoy the food and expand the taste associated with it. The atmosphere is relaxing and elegant. We have our "go to" Indian take out but decided to try something new for Mother's Day. Ordered uber eats so I have no information on the restaurant appearance. Delivery was quick so I would say service is good. Food was good. It didn't have the layers of flavors and spices that we are used to. I would call it average. The saag paneer was very different from what we are used to eating. It was an ok dinner and we may have to try and eat there. Maybe we will get a different opinion when eating in. read more

It's a very cozy and lovely place to eat. Service was very good. The waiter recommended we try the Chicken Seek Kabab Masala, which was delicious! We also got the shrimp biriyani and that was ok and had good flavors. But the kebab was the star. As an Indian, I went with medium spicy to be safe (every restaurant is different), and it wasn't spicy at all BUT I'd rather have flavorful food than spice for the sake of it. Also, seeing this neighborhood, I would assume most of their regulars would find it spicy, so they're definitely catering to non-Indians and I respect that. Business, you know. Food is flavorful and I would recommend! read more

Before Marigold, was Tapas, I had craving for Indian food with hot spices , been a while, the Malaysian restaurant closed down on Garth, will be a rotisserie joint. I hollaed at the Mrs. If she was down for some spicy food. So spicy it is! I placed the ordered for pick up , by the time I arrived , order was ready for grab & go. Their food did not disappoint my taste buds, I make sure some dishes were Spicy Hot. So hot my sinus cleared up. No complaint on my side, every thing was made well and cooked right. My orders will be in the pix read more

We had a lovely experience for lunch at Marigold; cricket matches on the television, warm service from the owner and staff, and absolutely delicious food. We were particularly impressed with the bone-in lamb chops (tender and mid-rare, perfectly seasoned), as well as the chicken saag. Our son loved the biryani, which was prepared to the taste of an 11 year old (mild spice, a request that we were grateful to them for accommodating!). We don't normally save room for dessert, but on a hot day the mango panna cotta really hit the spot. read more

It was a good meal, but just not as good as it used to be. Truly miss their best server, Ashoo (?), too! Seems it took a sharp downward dive in his absence. The current host seems aloof and dismissive, certainly not the warmth and charm this place use to have. The staff, although demonstrating effort, can't seem to get anything right- even water refills are a challenge. Wish I read the Health Department violations before dining here. "Rodents and insects present" just sealed the deal for not returning. Who would?!?! read more

I dined at this restaurant on 11/30/2025 for lunch with my family. The food by Ravi was excellent. I had the appetizers: chili chicken, Mango Coconut Shrimp, corn were tasty. The lunch: chicken tikka, chicken saag, channa bhatura, baingan Sarson Saag, Dessert: gulab jamun and kulfi. The spiced mango mocktail hit the spot. The service was excellent . It is hard to find good Indian food in Westchester. I would highly recommend this fine Indian restaurant in Westchester, NY. read more

We had dinner at Marigold last night -- my wife, a friend visiting NYC for the first time, and me -- and it was such a great experience. Our friend is pure vegetarian, and Ravi was incredibly accommodating. He even took the time to explain how they use jackfruit in their veg biryani, which was a really nice touch. The food was excellent. I had the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan, and it was spiced perfectly for my taste. My wife ordered the shrimp tandoori, which she loved. The cocktails were also very good. Overall, a wonderful dinner -- we're already looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much to the team at Marigold! read more

The place was Very dirty; smelled bad. I Wasn't happy with their attitude also. Not my favorite for sure read more

Courteous and attentive staff are part of a delicious culinary experience. Portions are perfect for sharing.

Really wonderful Indian fare with a modern flare. I very much enjoyed this first taste of Marigold. We're Indian cuisine fans and have experienced many in Westchester. Delicious lamb, chicken and plenty of vegetarian offerings for our diverse crowd at the table. Attentive and friendly service to boot. Prices were right where they should be. We'll be back. read more

Really delicious and inventive. Have been twice and think it's my new favorite Indian spot (expect modern and inventive takes, not the standard classic fare). Highly recommend. read more

Food was outstanding - we were a party of 8 so got to try quite a few dishes. Nothing disappointed. On the expensive side however so would save for special occasions (which our visit was). $500 for 8ppl family style (no alcohol). read more

Indian with an Italian flair is how I would describe this place. Lots of traditional items on the menu and some appetizers that have an Italian twist. Beautifully decorated and laid out inside with attentive wait staff. Food was great too. Tried the chaat, eggplant and skewered chicken appetizers. Of the entrees, the butter chicken and goat biryani. All was great. Would come again. read more

The A/C wasn't working and the food was good but not as anticipated. Hope they fix the issue. I'll try again. Service was OK.

Stopped by after craving bold, spicy Indian flavors, and this place absolutely delivered. Ordering for pickup was easy, and everything was ready right on time, making it super convenient. The food was packed with rich spices and deep flavor, exactly what I was hoping for. The heat level was on point and brought real intensity without overpowering the dishes. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully cooked. No complaints at all just solid, satisfying food done right. Ill definitely be back the next time Im in the mood for something flavorful and authentic. read more

This is a solid Indian restaurant. The food is very good. We have eaten here several times.

Yum! I LOVE this restaurant. I am a huge fan of Indian cuisine, as long as it's not too over-the-top spicy. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the food was phenomenal! I had the garlic naan (flatbread) and butter chicken with mango panna cotta for dessert. It was delicious! My only gripe is that the music was a little bit too loud, but other than that, everything was great! read more

I visited the restaurant once before and enjoyed the food and service. I decided to try it again and the food was even better and so was the service. I had the eggplant burrata to start with and the shrimp biryani. They were delicious! I will be coming back soon. read more

I ordered takeout from the restaurant through Uber. The food came quick so the service must be good. I can't comment on the ambiance of the restaurant but I was very disappointed by the food. The paneer makhani was watered down with color that stained my fingers. They literally added curry powder to spice it up but didn't make it a traditional paneer makhani. The naan was undercooked so I threw it out. I won't be ordering again read more

This restaurant is a good find! I've eaten there twice now and the food has been consistently tasty and the staff has consistently been friendly and capable. My highest recommendation: Aachari Chicken Tikka (appetizer) - I think I'll order a double portion for a main next time! The Indian music playing in the background added to the warm and pleasant ambiance. Recommend! read more

We were warmly welcomed by the owner to this gem of a place on Christmas Day '25. We wanted the Indian members of our family to enjoy a good Indian meal after indulging in our xmas traditions. The waitstaff is gracious and took time to explain ingredients & help us make selections. We also had some GF requests in our party and they accommodated us. The food was excellent! Sharing different dishes makes this place great fun for a group! It is difficult to find Indian food in Westchester County of this quality. The music added to the warm yet cool vibe there. Highly recommend this restaurant! read more

The location has plenty of street parking and a small municipal lot nearby. The restaurant itself is cozy, warmly lit, and decorated well. The host and wait staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had the usual dishes. We ordered the food and had a couple of bottles of Indian beer. The food was brought over shortly and the dishes were delicious and well presented. We had to skip on desserts as we ordered a bit much. This place is highly recommended. read more

Eastchester's superior Indian restaurant. Had the lamb vindaloo lunch special today - it was MAD GOOD, not to mention reasonably priced. Owner is a good man; we chatted about the neighborhood and about the job market. The wait staff are all great people too. Decor is authentic and the space is incredibly clean. read more

Was seated with family and waiter confirmed appetizers were still on happy hour menu! Then check comes and all the apps are full priced. Waiter then says I had to sit my family at the bar for the happy hour price. "I'm going to sit my toddler at the bar? Bad service. Should've honored the happy hour price. paid the bill and kept it moving. Food was good. Service bad. read more

I had super high expectations....... So maybe this is my bad....... Food was good, very good but not life changing as I hoped. Service left much to be desired our waiter was ummmm maybe a little arrogant. Not friendly nor welcoming. They spoke in a way that felt a little condescending???? We were there on a Tuesday so it was not crowded at all. There were maybe 2 other parties seated one was a large group and seemed like maybe they knew someone or that they were themselves "someones" the chef or owner came out and chatted with them at length.... Which only made us feel less welcome.... Like I said the food was good but I'd only come back for takeout not worth dining in and feeling like an Outsider!! read more

Some of the best Indian food I've had was while visiting London, England. No, I've been to Indian...but one day. In the interim, that nostalgic feeling of consuming AMAZING Indian food was had when I purchased the shrimp biryani from Marigolds. It was an absolute taste sensation. Will DEFINITELY visit again and I do most certainly recommend this place. read more

My wife and I visited this restaurant for our anniversary for the first time. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owner himself greeted us warmly and ensured our comfort throughout our meal. My wife, who is South Asian, ordered the chicken biryani. While many places she has tried struggle to make her type of like, this one excelled. She thoroughly enjoyed her dish and couldn't even finish it all, so she ended up taking it home. I opted for the buttered chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed it as well, the sauce was excellent so when I was done with my rice ( which comes with the order ) I used the Naan to dip into the sauce. The Naan by the way, was cooked to perfection with a nice crisp. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and comforting. However, it was quite busy, which might be a drawback if you're looking for a quieter dining experience. It's not a large restaurant, so you won't be able to escape the noise, but it's not uncomfortable either. Our waiter was friendly and even gave us recommendations. He was a gentleman with glasses whose name I can't remember. My apologies for the oversight. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The last bonus is that the restaurant serves halal food, so it's a great option for Muslims. We definitely plan to return to this restaurant in the future. I highly recommend it. read more
