Went one day and online it said the store was open when I got to the store it said we are closed

We are not Gluten-free and are not vegan, however since my sister and her husband from Greenwich CT. Introduced us to Pureganic Cafe 8 months ago, we always prefer coming here anytime we want to go out, the food is excellent, tasty and delicious, we always like to try something new on the menu, and we can not believe that we always love the food. Honestly, I don't know how they have such amazing quality food, from their pizza to hamburger, pasta and salads and of course the most delicious desserts. I have used Pureganic Cafe since they opened. I am vegan whole food plant based oil and salt free and they have worked with my requirements. their food is delicious and there are many choices. I still stand by everything I said about the value of a much needed organic vegan restaurant in Westchester, however, I still had to park two blocks away due to the tiny lot and traffic in and out of it. I'm still not sure why this location was chosen vs a strip mall or town like Bronxville or Scarsdale with more street parking. I'd also like to say the food is good, but not great, and VERY expensive. Prohibitively expensive. I recently spent $35 there for a pretty simple lunch and drink. I get the quality of ingredients, but I can make a great clean shake at home for much less. And if your food is going to cost that much, ok, but then it needs to be GREAT, and the few times I've been there recently and tried different things, I've found the food pretty dry and bland. read more

The search for gluten free or vegan options can sometimes be hard but this place makes it very easy and simple, everything on the menu is either gluten free and/or vegan. There is an area where you can make a plate by weight and a full menu with good descriptions of what each dish contains. The space is bright and spacious with plenty of seating. It's casual but the servers will bring items to your table and clean up after you finish. We ordered from the menu, I went with the lentil burger which came with sweet potato fries plus beet ketchup and my wife had the "meatball" sub on gluten free bread, it has a nut based "cheese" but there is an option for nut less cheese alternative. I thought the food was good and there were plenty of options especially for those who have certain dietary restrictions or just want to avoid certain things. It's also kosher. read more

I loved this spot! Met my friend here, and even on a rainy, winter day, it felt bright and buoyant, like a healthy little LA cafe. There's the option of a salad bar, but I opted for the lentil burger with a side of beet ketchup. It was so good! It had this taste to it that reminded me of coconut, a sweetness, yet so hearty. My husband loves all types of meat- but since my daughter is visiting from the West Coast and hubs is incorporating more Vegan meals (especially when she visits), we ditched our "protein" brunches- for something she can naturally be part of. I've been eyeing Pureganic for some time, but glad hubs beat me to the punch when we came for a Vegan Father's Day brunch. The cherry on top? Here, you will not be confused if a Vegan dish was made on the same griddle eggs and meat were cooked on or asking the server, "can you leave out the dairy and make it Vegan?" Because EVERYTHING is plant-based even desserts! Space is clean with several tables adequately spaced. Menu is varied and so is the entire range of simple, prepared room-temperature plant-based foods which your server will plate built on your selections on the spot. Love that this delicious vegan cafe moved to Harrison! Everything is so fresh and yummy that even non-vegans will enjoy the dishes. All the food is made with healthy ingredients. Highly recommend the waffles, pizza (with vegan cheese!), pasta, and Buffalo cauliflower. There are fresh juices available and a whole salad bar as well. They even have dessert! We've been going to Pureganic for many years and still enjoy the quality and taste of the foods served. My husband is a functional med. doc., and we appreciate all the quality ingredients used (e.g., olive oil & coconut sugar as opposed to canola/crappy oils and refined sugars). The new-ish items added to the menu are superb. There's even wine and champagne offered! The service is always friendly, and the owner, Moshi, is always gracious and welcoming. The price is right for the kind of organic ingredients used; it's not exorbitant. If you want to pay McDonald's price, go to McDonald's. But if you care about your health and eat healthy delish foods, go to Pureganic. FYI - there's free parking at the location. read more

The location of Pureganic is wonderful-so close to the train station and other shops. It has a great selection & breakfast all day long. The pancakes taste a touch, not like pancakes, like almost "too vegan" & I'm a long time vegan. But sometimes you just want something to taste like the good old thing. The coffee is good, not great. Compostable straws would be preferable to paper ones. The chocolate cupcakes are fabulous. The hours could use improvement, they're not nearly open late enough & earlier would be better as well. The best part about Pureganic are the front staff, the gentlemen at the counter. They're so polite & engaging and friendly. They're the stars of the show. read more

Best Restaurant in New York I recommend for everyone who needs a healthy delicious dinner

Food is inedible. I had the pancakes (grainy w no flavor) the tofu scramble and the maple sausage . The sausage was cold which when I asked if it was served hot or cold the response was hot. When I told them mine wasn't nothing was done just apology. It took almost an hour for my bf to get his food which was the simply breakfast. It was cold(sweet potatoes) , (sausage) grainy, nothing great. The tofu is the only thing that was ok. The matcha latte was horrible. The regular latte was ok. Overall this place looks good for drinks anything else I wouldn't recommend. I really hope we don't get sick from this food. read more

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are helpful and kind (though I think clearer boundaries for where the line begins are necessary because there are multiple cash registers though when I stand in front of an open cash register ready to order twice, two different employees [that just come to the front] look to help people that come after me farthest away from the refrigerator [nearer the desserts] which seems to mean employees may understand that a/ potential customer[s] lines up differently than one that already receives help). I'm glad about finding an all-Vegan eatery. The taco ingredients are tasty and stay in the taco wrappings well: I have a very clean plate afterward (maybe I'm just not a messy eater ). The Strawberry Cheesecake slice is very different tasting with every bite (ranging from a tasty bitter, to sour, to fruity-sweet, to caramely-chocolatey-graham crackery-sweet) like more of one ingredient is in one area than another, every time: all I do is eat the slice of cake slowly, bit by bit, not in chunks, savoring each flavor with my tongue all around the inside of my mouth, every crevice. The entrance into the Cafe was warm and welcoming. I tried vegan pancakes with almond milk to drink. I am trying to go vegan style, but my influences won't allow so I sneak out when I can. I love all types of food and I find that the pancakes are a really different taste and all. I sat there and gobbled them up as they were so delicious. I did not feel bloated as with regular pancakes. Their almond milk is not like store-bought almond milk it doesn't have that sweet taste to it. I enjoyed it as well. The service I was provided was excellent. I also want to say that this place is under a new name and owner, I think it was Organic Pride. I still enjoyed everything and hope to visit again. read more

Run, don't walk, to visit this hidden gem in Harrison (Rye's loss)! It is vegan, gluten free, organic (and kosher) and absolutely amazing! We recognized the owner and she could not have been kinder or more helpful, the service was impeccable! We ordered the butternut soup (to die for!), a pizza (would never know it was not cheese), the sushi bowl (perfection!) and the quinoa "burger" (fabulous). Wow. I am so impressed! This was a wonderful experience. It was my birthday and a friend wanted to take me out to dinner. My friend is kosher, and I am not. When we found The Pureganic Cafe it seemed to fit the bill. It is less than 4 miles from where I live and in Harrison where parking is free and easy. This restaurant is owned and run by a lovely woman who has a background in nutrition. She and her staff are friendly and happy to discuss their fare. Who knew vegan/kosher food could be so incredibly delicious!?! All their selections are not only vegan and kosher but also gluten and nut free. I had the mushroom cheese steak and my friend had the quinoa taco bowl. The desserts are creative, beautiful and also out-of-this-world delicious. It was so hard to decide what to try, so I brought home an assortment. She makes her own bottles of health drinks, kosher wines are available and all cooking is done on premises with kosher certification. This place is a winner and I highly recommend dropping in and giving this establishment a try, even if your a hard core carnivore. I will be going there again and again. Hopefully soon! read more

I'm not a vegan, and I don't particularly love vegetables per se, but when they are prepared this well, with unique flavors, textures, and combinations, I can only say (if you'll pardon my French)"MAGNIFIQUE"! To find food this healthy and this tasty is truly a rarity. And hungry patrons can order from the menu, select pre-packaged foods, and/or choose various amounts on their plate from an assortment of delicious platters labeled out by a most congenial staff. This is simply the best vegan gluten free restaurant in Westchester. It also happens to be kosher which is how I stumbled upon my favorite menu item. I was picking up some other delicious items when a man came up to the counter to mention to the server how much he enjoyed his truffle mushroom pizza. He also said that he was neither vegan or gluten free. He chose this place because it was kosher. So many fantastic things to try, my friends all have their favorite items too. The food is delicious and you can taste and tell that it is really fresh as well as organic. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. My only complaint is the pricing, it is a bit insane for example how can you charge $10 for tomato soup?? Also the salads should have different sizes otherwise every salad is at least $16. It's pricey for what it is. Side tip: the bathroom is gross. It needs a deep cleaning and a new garbage pail and some new fixtures. It's not a good look. read more

Food is good! I just went vegan about a week and half ago and there are not many good options around, so I searched and came across Pureganic. They have so many good options that sound and look fantastic. My only complaint about this place is their attention to detail. I would have given them 5 stars if my food was not cold and if they read the comments I left in the order box. I asked for ketchup and for my vegan quesadilla to be on their bread as this is an option they give but I didn't get that at all. All I got was a wrap that was really cold. My sweet potato fries looked empty as if there was almost nothing there. They also tasted undercooked and cold. If they payed attention to small details it would make this place a go-to for me. I'll give it another shot with my girlfriend hopefully it does not disappoint. Give this place a shot and let me know what you think! read more
