My favorite food spot in White Plains! If you're looking for a fresh, delicious salad, come here! They have the best prices in the area and you can use your phone number for points. I can't tell you how many free salads I've gotten here; at least 10! I love the mexi bowl, sweet potato bowl and some of the other ones. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also love their juices. My favorite is their break time smoothie.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything is freshly made to order and is absolutely delicious. Their other store is the Mamaroneck Ave Food Market where you can get tacos, sandwiches, and other hot food.

the SAME SALAD TWO DAYS IN A ROW

Chop It Up has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The salads are packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients that taste incredible and leave you feeling satisfied without being heavy. I enjoyed mine so much that I actually came back the very next day for another one. On top of the food being great, the owner is so sweet and genuinely welcoming -- you can tell they care about both the food and the people who walk through the door.

    Raw chicken. Disgusting

Absolutely horrible. my chicken is raw and I only got rice and chicken and my total was $15

This place has got everything FRESH - their smoothies will pop in your mouth. Salad dressing is all homemade. Nothing processed here. You can also make your own custom made salad. Be sure to get there early, because the ladies from the offices around here make a big ole' line.

So so fresh! Definitely worth it. Very friendly and kind staff! Bowls are delicious and like i said so fresh. The price is so good for the big bowl you're getting. They can last me about 2-3 days! I would definitely recommend grabbing some lunch here!

Decent food. But their chairs were most uncomfortable. Kinda like benches with itty bitty backs.

I have gone with the suggested combos, the Cobb Chop, the Avocago, the Mexicana, the Chopped Asian, and the Chimichurri Steak. Most feature chicken, the Falafel-Osophy is their vegetarian offering and it is one of the best. The only one I might not care to repeat is the Chimichurri Steak, the flavor was great, the beef was a bit chewy. If you like spicy they have options. The portion size is good, and worth the price. I am starting to recognize the staff, which to me is a good thing, suggesting less turnover than a lot of places. There's a frequent flyer program that will get you a free salad after about 8-10 orders. There are four or five tables for four, and a counter with hightop chairs for solo diners. I wish they had a two top, as I do not care to sit so high, and I usually take a table. Most customers takeaway, so there is usually plenty of space, even when the place is humming. Recommended.

They were generous with the breaded chicken cutlet bites. In hindsight I should have only dressed half the salad so I could save the rest for dinner or next day lunch. The portion is big, too much for me at one time but I had dumped the dressing already on all the salad so no saving what I couldn't eat. BTW the dressing was very tasty, more barbecue than zesty. Considering the size and ingredients I think $13.45 is a fairly reasonable price. Once you tax on the delivery service we used, taxes, tip it was $18. I would order again as there were many other salads the peaked my interest.

We ordered the chicken sandwich, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the house burger. Overall, the food was good. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, although I was expecting a bit more heat. It was flavorful but tasted milder than I anticipated. The desserts looked beautiful (as you can see in the photo). I didn't try one myself, so I can only share what my friends said. They thought they were good, though nothing particularly memorable. It was an extremely hot day, so we were looking forward to ordering sangria. Unfortunately, even though it's listed on the menu, they weren't serving it, which was a little disappointing. The service was good, friendly and attentive, though fairly average overall. One thing I will say is that I prefer the atmosphere in the evenings. The vibe feels more lively and enjoyable than it does during lunchtime.

We split several appetizers and one was better than the other. For dinner, I had the whole fish which was delicious! The others had various specials. The Filet Mignon was beautifully presented and was tender and perfectly cooked as were the Lamb Chops. The Pastitsio and Moussaka were also excellent! We split a few of the different desserts and they were all scrumptious and quite decadent . (Unfortunately, there were no leftovers for doggie bags)! All of the food portions were plentiful and everything was amazing. The food was absolutely superb! I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.

Going inside Grass Roots Kitchen was a breath of fresh air. The aesthetics put me in the mind of earth day and such beautiful paintings on the wall and flowers and greenery throughout. Grass Roots Kitchen offers have high tops dining as well as, regular dining, and outside dining. The dining area is pretty large, length wise and beautifully attractive. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit with the help of the cashier, I didn't get her name and it's on the receipt but I threw it out. Even though this was not a vegan dish, who could pass on a collosal cheese biscuit. The egg was a nice accompaniment to this cheese biscuit also. The lady that gave me the biscuits said, wow! That smells nice. I thought she was giving me a compliment on the order until I sniffed the bag. Normally I don't do well with my sense of smell but, boy oh boy! That was a gooooooood smelling biscuit. And the taste, it tastes so good, it makes you want to slap yo momma. (Don't do it, it just makes you want to slap her.) Needless to say, I really enjoyed this cheese biscuit. In hindsight I guess I could have grabbed a hot drink, maybe next time, and there will be a next time because I told the lady that this was my first time and at the restuarant and I'm new in the area. There were also several picnic benches around the side of the building, but I wasn't clear if they belonged to the restaurant. You order at the register and they call out your name when your food is ready. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as a great breakfast/brunch menu. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit was delicious. It was buttery and dense. The flavors were mild, but the sandwich was the perfect portion size. I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. They have free self-serve water and the employees were quick to wipe down tables so they were clean for the next party. Looking forward to coming again!
