This beautiful little Greek spot used to be Nikko's...its the same family owned Restaurant and if anything, its better then I remember. They decor is simple yet beautiful the front patio is lovely. The food is absolutely delicious, classic Greek and so fresh. Our server Javier was awesome and a wonderful representative of this establishment. Of course Central Ave is a Mecca of fantastic eating in Westchester County..and this place is literally one of the first restaurants at the start of North Central Park Ave...what a great way to start the your culinary tour. Definitely stop in for a perfect glass of wine, a beautiful sit down meal, or just a yummy appetizer (the stuffed Grape Leaves are absolutely delicious) Enjoy!!!!

Lorddddddddd. Cute place - small but classy vibes for sure. Service was attentive. But man, the food. Oh the food. Portions were bigger than I anticipated which is good. Flavorful, delicious, tender was everything we ordered. Good tzatziki sauce too and don't forget their desserts! It was all amazing and the Greek wines are top tier. Would return 100%.

That calamari made me talk about it all night. The only downfall was serving me olives with seeds. There is no cute way to spit at a table.

I almost don't want to tell anyone about this place because it was soooo good. I went in on a random afternoon to get some work done. I was sat immediately as it wasnt very crowded. Initially one of the workers held the door for me. The food spoke for itself.

Very cute place with a welcoming vibe. Truly Greek. We had Roditis white wine, octopus appetizer, Greek salad, lamb chops (come with your choice of 2 sides) and the sea bass special. Best grilled octopus! Everything we ate was delicious, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great service from Brandon, he made terrific recommendations. The owner came over and said hello, which was nice as it was our first time there. Street parking only so plan accordingly.

Fabulous food. Had the sea bass and roasted potatoes. Delicious. Baklava for dessert was also very good. The service was good, our server Javier was fabulous, attentive. The ambiance was lovely, warm and inviting. Highly recommend. I have also had lunch here and the lamb gyro is also delicious.

This place had the best costumer service that I had experience before. You can tell that the owner has passion for her customers. My waiter was very attentive as well. Make sure to make reservations, this place gets busy. I ordered the lamb shawarma platter and let me tell you, the lamb was juicy and absolutely delicious. The platter comes with one side so I ordered the broccoli. The dip sampler was our choice of three different dips. We had the eggplant , hummus, and a spicy garlic dip. I enjoyed the eggplant dip the most and it's served with warm pita bread. There's plenty of tables and it's great for groups. I overheard that they offer live music on a Wednesday night. I would definitely come back again.

I came here to pick up a take out order because I was really in the mood for a gyro (pronounce how you want to). The order was ready within 15 minutes of the phone call during lunch hour. The hostess that greeted me was friendly. The inside looked clean. And the gyro itself was excellent. It was filling and I didn't feel that I was shortchanged. It was well seasoned, the greens were fresh, white sauce was good and not overpowering, and the meat tasted fresh and not reheated. I will be back and check out what else they have to offer.

My big fat Greek dinner, OPA. We had a really good meal while dining outdoors on their patio. A gorgeous spring night sipping Greek wine and eating. We ordered appetizers and main meals at the same time while instructing our very pleasant waiter to not bring out the food at the same time. He promised that wouldn't happen and it did not. I usually like to order an appetizer and then wait to put in the dinner order, but it wasn't necessary here. The Hummus was creamy and tasty served with a lot of pita bread points. I wanted to try Saganaki as I've never had it. They had 3 different Saganaki's. The first choice was the Greek cheese kefalograviera which I've never eaten so that was more interesting than the Feta which I've had often. The Ketalograviera was fried, and the feta pan-fried with a drizzle of honey and sesame seeds. I wanted the honey so I asked if they could do that with our choice? Our waiter replied that the honey came on the Feta. I asked if we could have it on the ketalograviera and he said yes. So, accommodating. What disappointed me though was that the cheese was just plated. A square of cheese with honey on top. No flame, no fanfare, I thought that is how saganaki is served? I really wanted to see it sizzling. Besides being an Instagrammable moment it would have made the cheese gooier which I would have preferred. It was tasty, but not what I expected. For entrees I ate the pork souvlaki platter. Two nice sized moist wood skewered pork kebobs with tzatziki sauce on the side and lemon potatoes. We asked for more pita points which the waiter was happy to bring more out. You can order broccoli, rice, lemon potatoes or fries as a side dish. The lemon potatoes weren't roasted, there was no char or crispness to them nor were they lemony tasting. They were also a bit hard, not good in my opinion. My daughter ordered the beef-lamb gyro platter. The meat was so flavorful and tender. She also had the lemon potatoes and tzatziki sauce on the side. For dessert we shared the Loukoumades which are dense small fried dough balls with honey and walnuts. They were good. We appreciated the staff refilling our water, busing the tables and checking on us throughout our dining experience. I would return to try other Greek dishes and sit outside. They were doing a bustling business so both indoor and outdoor areas were fairly full by dinner hour. The indoor were very nice but when I can dine outdoors that is my preference.

I love Greek cuisine when it's delicious. In this bracket, falls my only and truly favorite, Taverna Kyclades in QNS (and NYC) because they offer top-of-the-line seafood and it always slaps. So when hubs and I heard about Anasa on Central Avenue in White Plains, we had to come and try them for Sunday dinner. If it matters, long-time Nikos held this same spot until their closing in Dec'22. I'm picky with Greek food- especially their seafood+ seasonings. Since seafood is my only source of (meat) protein, it's gotta be tasty. Anasa, was that. Definitely not Taverna Kyclades level- but for the area, food was good. Anasa is fairly new since Feb '23 and there were minor setbacks. For instance- hubs and I loved the tenderness in the grilled octopus we ordered- but we weren't particularly fond of all the red vinegar that was almost swimming on the plate. Or that our server was attentive- but a bit choppy, forgetful and running back to the kitchen to 'double-check'. Stevia- the owner made sure her restaurant was running smoothly as she treated us as if we're part of the family. Hubs' lamb gyro made the cut for its good taste and my requested rare tuna medallions were melt-in-the-mouth fantastic. Our Greek salad with a considerable amount of diced, chunky feta in it was refreshing. As if feta wasn't enough, we ordered a side dish of it that had a nice olive oil drizzle. Anasa didn't hold back when it came to flavor on a Sunday in March when we came- plus they've got their hospitality down to a tee. Yamas- To many more years to come!

The decor and the crowd were on point - modern and chic. The place including the restroom were clean. And the best part? Free valet parking across the street at The Ritz! You just need to show them the parking validation from the restaurant you get after your meal and honestly we forgot to but the valet people gave us no hassle, no stress which made the dining experience even more blissful. The restaurant staff were super helpful and attentive, making sure our drinks were filled and our stomachs were happy. Now, let's get to the food... The braised short rib was TO DIE FOR. I'm talking fall-apart tender, juicy, and flavorful - I didn't even need a knife! It was like butter, folks. However, I wished I would've tasted more feta in my feta-infused mashed potatoes. It tasted like regular mashed potatoes to me without the sharpness of the feta. My best friend told me to try Mastika which is her island's native liquor and the lady who served it to us was so happy to. It's like the staff was so eager to show us their culture :) If you're in the area, DO NOT skip this spot.

The recent expansion into the neighboring space really opened things up with plenty of seating without sacrificing energy. Noise level was balanced, lively but still easy to talk. Free parking lot with ample spaces makes it effortless. We started with a Horiatiki salad and their signature triangles of warm pita with Greek olives -- a simple touch they consistently get right. I ordered the Meraki Passion Platter, while my wife had the butterflied branzino with Patates Tiganites. The homemade round fries are addictive - thin fries with a crisp outside. Portions are generous without being excessive. Service was polished and familiar; we've seen many of the same staff over the years, which says a lot. Dishes were cleared promptly and everything felt well-paced. Extremely clean throughout. This place continues to deliver. We highly recommended.

I love how they really sliced the lettuce finely, I hate shoveling a tree branch in my mouth when I'm eating a salad. I also felt like the ingredients were super fresh. I do need to stop ordering tomatoes, I don't like them and never will. That feta cheese? Holy shit. Where do Greek places get feta cheese? it's like a different breed than anything I've ever bought for myself. I also ordered hummus and I'm not sure whether the hummus came with pita or the salad but they provided a literal dinner portion of food portion-size of pre-sliced pita. Some of it was a lil soggy, I wonder if they warmed it up and it was steaming in there? Not sure what else could have occurred there but it crisped up nicely in the oven. The hummus was also delicious. It was what I would expect from a Mediterranean place. GF ordered some sardine entree business, greens, and mashed potatoes. "It was good" she says. I snuck a forkful of mashed potatoes last night and they were very good. I'm a fan of this place.
