I went here because the bagel store next door quite literally had a line out the door, and I am so incredibly glad I did. The man at the counter was extremely nice and friendly, and it was not that long of a wait for these delicious pancakes, (photo included!) They were so light and fluffy. I'm going to start off by saying that this place is an overpriced oasis for Armonk moms. The food is great, service is quick. Everything they make is delicious, and makes a great meal. Here's the kicker EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED. Don't get me wrong, I love the low fat chicken salad with apples and cranberries, but at $12/lb, it doesn't seem to stack up as well. Breakfast sandwiches in the morning are great, but they're $5 apiece. You won't believe what they charge for repackaged candy. Armonk moms don't care. Only the best for their kids. They line up out the door to buy their kids "The Best". They keep this place alive. (Many of them are cute) I only eat here when I break down and give in. What would we do without ACK? The soups are the best! My ailing mother was turned off food, but would always come to the table for soup from Armonk Country Kitchen. The salads are delicious, and I love their potato pancakes -- they will include a small container of applesauce if you want. Excellent sandwiches, and salads made to order with crispy fresh lettuce and whatever add-ins you request. They have tables indoors and out, but most people seem to be on a Take Out run. The place is always clean and since it's always so busy you know the food is fresh. In the winter they have a selection of about 6-8 different home-made soups that change daily. They have great wraps and sandwiches and a salad bar. Need to grab a dinner to go? They have pre made things like chicken parm and roasted turkey - again the selections change daily. This has been my spot forever and when I'm home from college I literally go here every single day. Their salads are BOMB (better than Bowls if you ask me because their lettuce to toppings ratio is much better). Also their Low Fat Chicken Salad is actual life and after years of searching I have been unable to find a chicken salad that I like nearly as much as that one. This place is awesome if you are a healthy eater and want to go somewhere with lots of options that won't ruin your diet. Alright, first Yelp! review... here it goes. I love this place. It's got a rustic feel and the staff is super friendly. Even after only being there a few times they all knew me by name. The food is the best in the area, and yeah, they're not just giving it away, it's going to cost a few extra dollars than if you go to the deli down the street, but it's worth it. With a nice ambiance, a delicious selection of food, a wide selection of iced teas and coffees, and a friendly staff, it's a great place to grab a bite. A few little extra things that I personally like about the place: - The seating is a few long tables, which makes it a little more personal when you're sitting in close proximity with strangers. Everybody is very kind and I've met some great people this way. - The food is healthier and fresher than any other "deli" in the area - The girl who rings up my orders is super cute. Call me. I only had a credit card on me and I was getting a drink and a pastry and the lady behind the counter almost didn't sell me the food because I only had a card.
