LOVE LOVE LOVE! The guys n this place are great! They have the BEST CHICKEN CUTLET! Yes i said it. It's flavorful and not bland. They dont take any shortcuts and if the did I can't tell! I have them cater recently and holy cow the compliments on the sandwiches and side salads! Will definitely use them again!

Number one - sandwiches! Birthday catering
Anwar J.

This is the best deli around the Westchester area! We ordered turkey and chicken sandwiches for a birthday catering! He made a number 1 shape even though we were ordering last minute. Everyone at the party loved the freshness and neatness of the food and were asking where we got it from! Very delicious, clean and affordable! I'm so glad I did business with you and I will definitely be coming back for all my future occasions.

We like this place very much and go here regularly. Our visit Sunday was not up to par. The place…read morewas fairly empty; the bar area busier. Ordered cocktails and waited... Server came to take food out order and we asked about our drinks; be here in two minutes. Our food order was in front of us before our drinks ever arrived. Lesson learned, don't let them pressure you into ordering food until drinks in hand or they add bar staff. Burgers were awesome as always, as are the fries. Another pet peeve: one diner is finished with their meal and they come to clear dishes while the other person is still eating. This was not necessary; there was no wait and the place was at least half empty. Haven't experienced this at Tavery before and hope this was a one time off afternoon. Your service experience shouldn't overshadow an otherwise good experience.

I thought the mahi mahi tacos were good and the reaction to other dishes ranged from good to ok. Calimari was just ok- not crispy. Service was fine. Pricing was fair and even a bargain, $13, for a good glass of Pinot. We skipped dessert. The hostess was sweet. Hard to say if it would be an addition to our dining rotation but for Bronxville it just might check enough boxes for success. We will see.

My dinner was the steak quesadilla and my wife had the carne asada on corn tortillas. I usually order the al pastor tacos on flour which is fantastic! However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.

It was easy for all of us to walk in and out and the waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable. It was restaurant week which we were in aware of so we were pleasantly surprised as we were able to have a three course meal for not a bad price at all. I had French onion soup to start and I was very happy with my choice as it was very flavorful and had a ton of onions which I love when they leave in all of them when they serve it. My friends had clam chowder and calamari. I had a few calamari and was very happy with how fresh and crispy it was. They gave a nice portion on all three. As for my main course I had a a very nice size steak sandwich that were absolutely delicious. It came with hand cut French fries. I couldn't believe how good it was. I'm usually extremely picky and the steak was so tender and it melted it my mouth. The fries were killer good as well. For desert, I had bread pudding and that was wonderful as well. It came in a cream sauce and I was very happy with what I picked. All in all, I loved my meal and the time spent with my friends that I hadn't seen in almost a year. We had laughs and a very nice conversation and they did not rush us at all. I will definitely be back for some amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere to soak it up with.

Chantilly was first brought to my attention by one of my friends. She lives in Bronxville and got…read moresome cookies from them for us to share the last time we linked up. Always curious about bakeries I haven't tried before, I was excited to check it out. Chantilly has odd hours; they're only open three days per week until 1pm and the good bakes tend to run out fast. They have a good selection of bakes, but we opted for their cookies - specifically the chocolate chip and the Nutella. The cookies were those big, cakey style ones that could easily be shared. The cookies were okay; I was struggling to find flavor in the chocolate chip. While it was the cakey style, it almost had a hard crust on top of it - it looked more like a muffin top than a cookie. There were lots of chocolate chips inside, but for some reason the flavor just wasn't hitting it for me. The Nutella cookie was slightly better, but I'm wondering if the Nutella was in the room with us because I couldn't find it. There was chocolate, and whole hazelnuts, but the filling inside didn't taste like Nutella to me. It was more so like a semisweet chocolate frosting. The flavor profile wasn't bad, and it was a decent chocolate cookie - it just didn't read Nutella to me. Overall, Chantilly was fine. I would be open to returning to explore more of their bakes, but think twice before getting more cookies.

I won their princess/villains day pastries which were super cool. I love that they made a whole event out of the day, they had princesses, had the place decorated very nicely and of course a long line as people were super excited for it. Everybody was super friendly and organized. The treats were so fresh and delicious. My favorite was the pop tart but whatever I tried so far was incredible and I haven't even tried everything yet! I will definitely return to try more things.
