This review is for the Wendy's near the sawmill River Parkway entrance in Elmsford/Hawthorne area New York. Friendly service. Average wait time. Full menu. I don't frequent fast food often so I was really surprised to see how many changes there were. FOOD: I opted for something called a "big meal" which was about $5.99 and included a small fries, a two-patty burger with cheese, and four piece chicken nuggets plus drink. That's a lot of food for under six dollars. They paid attention to preparing mine without onions which I'm allergic to. The french fries were hot and I opted for a bottled water instead of a soft drink. I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad for my son. I requested pomegranate dressing instead of Caesar dressing. That was the only mistake they made which could've been a huge disappointment. The loss of the star is because the chicken nuggets were lukewarm. And consistent holding temperatures were the issue for this visit at this location.

My wife and I stopped at this Wendy's for a quick bite to eat on our way upstate to Catskills for the holiday weekend. As soon as we arrived at around 8pm, it was pretty packed & busy. But the man on register (Jean) was calm, composed, courteous & amazing at helping customers. He took our order very quickly & accurately & kept offering things that sounded good that I didn't even know was a thing (onions & cheese in my chili). This was my first time eating at Wendy's in over 5 years.. and sadly, I prob won't go back for years. The service was very slow and poor (the guy at pick-up was super slow & not banging out the orders quick enough). It almost seemed like it was his first day on the job... and he kept prioritizing the wrong orders when he had multiple people who ordered before some people. I watched as he served someone who ordered like 6 people after me pick up his order and leave. Unacceptable. Anyways, I ordered the new big Bacon Cheddar Burger & Chicken burger. I always get a chili when I go to Wendy's (my childhood favorite) so I got one of those as well. Unfortunately, everything was SUPER cold because I was waiting for about 40 minutes before the guy decided to complete my order & call out my name. (The girl before me waited over an hour). Jean (the person on register) atleast did the right thing & apologized and offered a free frosty for the ridiculously long wait. My verdict on the news burgers? Pretty underwhelming. The sauce was good, but everything else was pretty meh. Overall, my experience and food was bad. The only reason I gave this a 2 star review was because of Jean, who (in the midst of the chaos & slow incompetent service by his associate) worked very hard to keep customers happy.

Great place great service great deals and when they messed up my order they replaced my whole meal. Thanks Wendy's

Inedible rock hard dry chicken wrap which went right in the garbage! Stay clear

This dump deserves ZERO stars! First of all the customer service is a joke. The cashier didn't even greet my boyfriend. He just stared at him blankly and didn't say a word. He then cut off my boyfriend mid-order to ask if it was to stay or go. The food was absolutely awful. Completely inedible. We ordered 3 grilled chicken wraps and had to throw two of them away because the chicken was dry and hard as a rock!!! I got the strawberry mango salad with the smallest piece of rock hard dry chicken I've ever seen. I took two bites and dumped. It was basically all iceberg lettuce with barely any fruit or cheese. It looked and tasted nothing like the other other times I've had it at another location. I will NEVER be coming back to this disgraceful place.

He was funny, friendly, and super personable. We ended up chatting about our kids and he made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. He mentioned the entire place was recently renovated, including the kitchen, and it shows. The space is clean, bright, and even smells new. The concept is pretty unique. The restaurant is split down the middle with IHOP on one side and Applebee's on the other, but now it operates as one combined menu. You can order anything from either side no matter where you sit. Breakfast all day, even at the bar, which is a fun twist. We started with the Ultimate Appetizer Trio with mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadillas, and chicken wontons. You get to pick three sauces, which is a great touch. The mozzarella sticks and quesadillas were very good, especially paired with the sauces. The chicken wontons missed for me. The Sweet Asian chile sauce and coleslaw did not work and the chicken texture was mushy. For drinks, I tried an Irish coffee since the espresso machine was down. It was not great. Very light on whiskey and came off watery with no real creaminess. The hot chocolate was just okay. The Bourbon Street Steak had good flavor, but the cut is now top sirloin instead of ribeye and it shows. Still enjoyable, but not as strong as it used to be. The fries that came with it were solid. The highlight for me was the Ultimate Breakfast Burger. It had a lot going on with a beef patty, hash browns, American cheese, bacon, a fried egg, and poblano hollandaise on a brioche bun. I swapped the egg to fried hard. Messy, falling apart, but somehow it all worked and tasted great. I also took advantage of the 2 for $25 deal with some upgrades and tried the 3 Cheese Chicken Penne and the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. Both were good and added even more value to the visit. Overall, this was a great experience. Strong service, a clean and updated space, and a fun concept that gives you the best of both worlds with grill, bar, and breakfast all in one place. I would definitely come back and try more items like the O M Cheese burger, quesadilla burger, bacon cheddar chicken sandwich, loaded buffalo chicken omelette, brownie bite, and the sizzling butter pecan blondie.

No flavor on the waffles and the chicken tasted frozen. The French toast tasted like toast with a shake of sugar. We asked for the manager and he was too busy to see us. The place was not packed and not only did we have a super long wait but the food was not hot. The waitress was a doll and helpful but paying $70 for food that's was not eaten is a shame. We tipped her well because she has nothing to do with the quality of the food. Sadly I could not speak to the manager. I she. Proof what we paid and pictures of all the food left behind. One bite was all it took. We ordered three entree and all of them were warm and not edible. I'm so annoyed that o still had to pay for this horrible meal that we did not eat. Now I'm back home making food for the kids because they could not eat this horrible frozen food.

Located right off the Sprain, it's in a good location and parking is decent. It looks how it sounds, both inside and out. Nice big bar, a pizza oven front and center, and of course the fireplace. Love all of the wood. Service was good however they were empty so perhaps grading on a curve there. I got the open faced steak sandwich. Pretty formidable portion with plenty of steak, however in hindsight I should've ordered it medium. Got it with bleu cheese and there was a crapton of it. Onions/mushrooms were good. No chance in hell of picking the thing up, yet very enjoyable. My son liked his chicken fingers, mostly just eating the fries as per tradition. My wife's pizza took awhile to come which was weird as they weren't bus and the pizza guy was standing around, however we went as they opened so perhaps they were waiting for the oven to heat up. We came for a post-hockey lesson lunch and this did the job well. I paid with card which game me an extra fee. The food wasn't extraordinary, but by no means was it bad.
