I can remember White Castle from my childhood days in the Bronx. We happen to be in NY and my daughter was curious and wanted to see what the hype was all about. This one has a drive thru, so off we went. It has probably been 40 years since I had one, but I recall them being small and getting them in bulk. We got 2 each, 2 with cheese and 2 without. The cashier was super sweet & had a nice,bubbly personality! My food was piping hot & fresh like it had just finished a suana session! I enjoyed it! I love the sliders at White Castle. So I went on Friday June 5 2026 because I had a craving. The sliders and Onion rings were fine. The chocolate shake was more of a solid ice cream texture than a drinkable liquid. I used the drive through service and it was extremely slow. Wow - what can I say? This White Castle really knows how to do up Valentine's Day like none other! Kenny our server was absolutely amazing and you would think he had experience as a waiter although he is normally behind-the-scenes cooking,! He answered all our questions, explained things on the menu and was so personable. It was awesome. He even asked us what music we wanted played while we were eating. This is the one time of year that White Castle has waiter service, and decorates, which I think is really cool. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and even the folks cooking were joking around and having a great time. I could tell they all really care about good customer service, and all the food we got was excellent. It came out hot and fresh and this is the best White Castle experience I have ever had by far. I don't eat meat, so having waffles and hashbrowns worked perfectly. Of course it's no gourmet or fancy food, you know what you're getting but it was a great experience. I've been to many other white castle locations where the employees could care less but this location is different. I look forward to returning on another night in the near future for that late night fix especially because they are open 24 hours and they have their own parking lot which is great! read more

White Castle is my guilty pleasure. I've always come here late at night with friends. It's been quite a few years since my last in person visit, but I have to say, whoever works the late night shift now at the drive thru is fantastic. He made sure to ask how customized we wanted our burgers (we just had the regular fixings, no cheese), repeated our order back to us to double check everything was correct, and was very quick about ringing us up and handing us our food. He was also masked and had the clearest speaking voice I've ever heard from a drive thru worker. They're doing paper straws now (better for environment, but awkward to sip soda with) and had napkins that also looked to be made of recycled material. That was pretty cool to see! The rest of our food was packaged very neatly in the bags. Everything about our food was on point except my Sprite did taste a little funny. My partner's Coke was fine. Sometimes the Freestyle machines do make the drinks taste odd depending on whatever was made prior, so no big deal. It happens. I'm here for the sliders anyways. We placed an order online for 90 sliders to bring back to Miami. Our only special notes were "No Onions Please" in all caps. When I got there to pick up my boxes, all the slider had onions. They went ahead and told me in about 15 mins they would have a new batch of sliders with no onions! Second time I return, they all had onions AGAIN! By this point, I was getting a bit aggravated and couldn't understand why they couldn't follow instructions. They offer to make a 3rd batch of 90 sliders. The 3rd time around, when we went to pick up, the manager was acting very nasty! They did not want to release the order without the receipt. On top of messing up my order twice, they wanted to act ignorant and make me go back out to the car to grab my phone to show them the order number! Poor customer service! I've always wanted to try this place (of course after watching Harold and Kumar go to White Castle). We ordered the Cheeseburger Sliders, the Jalapeño Sliders, and a Fish Slider. We also ordered some fries and sweet potato fries, Pretzel Chicken Rings, and the Fudge-Dipped Cheesecake on a Stick. Everything was good, and I expecially liked the chicken rings. We ordered extras just to take back to our hotel, and to eat on the ride there. There were so many items that sounded good on their menu, my stomach just didn't have room for all of them. As I began feasting on my first burger, I noticed a slight rustling by the dumpster. What could it be? Oh ya, just as I thought. Yes there's two fiends banging away like they were auditioning for the Yonkers Philharmonic. Landed in JFK direct from SFO . . . worse flight than normal, and all I could think of was how hungry I was. Lucky the dude at Hertz gave us free navigation . . . thus the search for White Castle began. This being my virgin visit to White Castle, I had no idea what to expect except maybe Doogie Howser showing up trying to steal my car. I have to say, after I bit into the juicy double cheeseburger (sober) I felt less than rewarded. While the food is decent, and the fries were pretty tasty, we somehow spent $20 at this place for two people and left unsatisfied. Not sure if it's just the NYC markup going on here, but I can think of a dozen fast food joints that will keep the belly rounder. yep folks its monday night in yonkers on broadway and its time to visit the lovely white castle and order take out only as allowed by law now either by drive thru or the quicker way by going inside . its called murder burgers by some folks but for me and my boys its our tasty guilty pleasure . i ordered freely as always , a bunch of white castles, chicken rings , fries , double cheese sliders , and whatever else my boys were yelling to the girl taking our large order . in about 8 minutes our large order was ready(i paid as always )and now its time to find a spot away from the unlovely south part of yonkers and get our munch on . yummy yummy and nothing is left over .my only peeve is that i did not order a drink and i had to settle for a bottle of light beer with my white castle feast. no matter, its still a meal fit for a king from the castle. read more

As a former big Castle fan I must say I haven't patronized any location I didn't like. Having said that, this spot probably comes in somewhere in the lower-mid range on the White Castle scale. I stopped by in the afternoon and used the drive-thru, service was quick and the food acceptable. The troubling part was the exterior, which seemed run-down and was definitely lacking in cleanliness. (But then again, I never looked inside.) The parking lot was good-sized, but crowded and not very tidy, the drive-thru and sidewalk areas were also well-trashed. It's in a rather rough area, even by NY standards; this section of Yonkers is best navigated during daylight hours. But a little pride on the part of management and employees might make a difference, either that or a full-time maintenance/clean-up man to help give this tarnished Castle a more appetizing appearance read more

Everytime we have gone to this location it has NEVER disappointed us! The Service is always outstanding! The staff always greets with a smile, smooth communication & they actually seem to enjoy their work. The neighborhood is a bit rough but it does not reflect the quality of their work or quality of the food they produce. I am always impressed with the staff at this location & often wonder what the manager's or owners secret to get such amazing staff! The management staff here is extremely rude and knows nothing about customer service. Their debt/credit system was down and they were only accepting cash. As I tried handing a $100 bill (which was all I had on me) after waiting on the drive thru line for 20 minutes, the manager told me that I need to go to the bank and get a smaller bill and Closed window on me. After getting her attention again I let her know, that's an inconvenience and if she can please just let me pay for my food. Her response was she doesn't have change. I had the misfortune of being very hungry while driving through Yonkers, NY and coming to the White Castle at 257 S. Broadway; 10705. First, I was accosted by a person asking me to buy him food. I barely had enough money for myself. I ordered the fish combo. When my order came I left and drove a little further north because I didn't feel safe around there. The guy begging for food looked like a scammer not someone who was genuinely hungry. He was hanging out in the drive-thru. The fist patties were grease soaked as were the French fries. The coca cola was watery and weak. It was a total waste of my $6.68. I telephone for a refund. I'll just wait and see what happens. I didn't go inside the place and didn't linger at the drive thru menu because of the vagrant who was bothering me.
