Had a family "outing here". Great take Irish bar, including our waitress and staff, which had both had a great brogue. I wish I could give them five stars, but the food was ordinary, not awful, but certainly not outstanding. Definitely liked the atmosphere and for those who love an authentic Guinness definitely a good spot to go. Salads were good.

Barry's tea (a hot Irish tea, like a stronger Lipton) and a lemonade.

Service: 10/10 Our servers were friendly, attentive, and prompt with taking and bringing our orders. It was a light crowd so our server directed my friend and I to a table for 4 so we could be more comfortable and have space for our purses - very thoughtful and very much appreciated! Ambiance: 10/10 well kept and clean establishment (plus a clean ladies room which is always appreciated) we had to shoo away a couple of flies since we sat near an open window so perhaps a screen addition would help the breeze come in whole keeping those flies out. Otherwise, no complaints. We sat on the first floor and though we were too invested in our food and conversation to get up and read it through we noticed there was a beautiful poem, perhaps an Irish blessing, written on the stairs leading up to the second level. Food: 9/10 my friend and I had a hot tea, a lemonade, and the combo platter that let us choose any four appetizers. We did calamari, pork dumplings, mozzarella sticks and potato skins. Everything was hot and tasty and the dumpling and marinara sauces were yummy. The potato skins were baked wonderfully but not seasoned so it was missing a bit of the salty and savory elements. However still good with the cheese, scallions, bits of bacon, and sour cream. Friendly patrons and staff, good customer service and food options. Would recommend and enjoy again next time I'm in the area.

FIRST AND FOREMOST SHOUT OUT to the entire STAFF especially my waitress very friendly and attentive. The service is always PROFESSIONAL. I have always found myself at this establishment due to my deep impenetrable cravings. Today I'll be honest I was craving a specific meal at YONKERS BREWERY; but due to the crazy shenanigans that was happening at that restaurant I found myself traveling a few feet next door FRANCEY BRADY..(NOTHING AGAINST YONKERS BREWERY!!! I repeat NOTHING AGAINST YONKERS BREWERY ) back to my FRANCEY BRADY REVIEW... So.... I found myself deep in my thoughts at Francey Brady, extremely "HANGRY" after the crazy shenanigans next door. I literally felt I can eat the entire dinner menu from FRANCEY Brady's due to my ultimatum appetite. But was I was craving more, what my heart my soul desired, what my stomach was telling me. My stomach said "Andrew make sure you get your damn chicken sandwich or wrap" and make sure you have an extra side of two chipotle mayo side sauces. Below I attached two photos of my meal yesterday and my dessert from another occasion (I believe it was a day after Father's Day). Even though I substituted the bun for the wrap with my blacked chicken sandwich which made it a bit soggy and wet... I definitely enjoyed my meal. I like alil extra wet, creamy saucey sandwich especially with crunchy warm French fries.... THE CONDIMENTS ARE DEFINITELY IMPORTANT WITH every meal. I had the pleasure of having the same waitress so service was and is forever professional and friendly. So she didn't give me a hard time with customizing my orders at all. Even when the place is loud and busy I find the service to still be professional and on point. Bathroom is clean, never had any dirty silverware. Plenty of napkins. I don't ever feel like I walked into sweaty armpits . Just because it's a bar doesn't mean it has to be a crazy college drunken hot mess. But I will say this I've had my good and bad experience at this establishment eons ago, but I don't think it will affect the relationship between me and this business. Please most definitely support the locals! PS : I did mention "crazy shenanigans" regarding my visit at YONKERS BREWERY, but remember I have no ill intentions towards that business they also do serve great food as well. PLEASE SUPPORT THE LOCALS

Visited Francine Brady's for a client lunch at the clients recommendation and it did not disappoint! Located right in downtown Yonkers Francey Brady's reminds me of the Irish pubs I would visit in NYC in my college years. This is the type of place where everyone knows each other and the minute you enter you are family. The music, even in the early afternoon, seemed to be a mix of fun rock and ska hits. I visited on a Thursday and sat downstairs. There were a few scattered people at the bar and what seemed like maybe a party, or a few tables upstairs. Service was quick, and my lunch special of buffalo chicken salad was delicious and spicy enough to leave tears in my eyes. SO GOOD! When you stop in take a look at the stairs, the Irish Blessing is painted line by line on each step; an absolutely beautiful detail in a wonderful pub!

I've only been to Yonkers a handful of times and this was a great bar to go to for brunch. The brunch menu was plentiful and they serve $4 mimosas!! There is an option for 2-hour bottomless mimosas for $15 with an entree. Loved the staff here. Super low key, helpful and cheerful. The mimosas weren't strong but tasty. I ordered bangers and mash which I LOVED and I got to try the omelette, bacon and French toast. All were delish! If you find yourself in the area for brunch stop by for a bite and enjoy some sports on the screens. I hear the burgers here are delicious so I'll be back in the near future to try it out.

We called them Sunday morning to found if we had to make a reservation for brunch. They said there were several tables outside to sit at and took our reservation. We arrived around 12:30pm and were seated outside. The tables inside and outside were socially distant. The waitress was very attentive and brought our drinks quickly. Our food came out and was delicious. I have an egg allergy so it was nice that there were options available I could enjoy for brunch. The frosé was great! Our waitress said it was her first day but she was awesome and very attentive. My friends and I hadn't seen each other in a long time so we chatted for hours and there was no rush for us to leave. I also had the Bailey's cheesecake for dessert. It was to die for. It was so rich and creamy! Overall a great brunch will definitely be back!

We also tried the hummus, but none of us really cared for it. Everyone enjoyed their entrees (tacos, burger, spicy garlic noodles). My husband's spicy garlic noodles were very flavorful. I have a mild spice tolerance and I didn't find them spicy at all, but still good. I opted to mix and match tacos and all the flavors were delicious. --I really like when places offer a mix and match situation because I like variety. Though pricy, all of our drinks were on point. The large beer selection was a hit as were the refreshing margaritas. Our server was very friendly. (He did however keep noting things that were listed as spicy were very spicy when no one in our group found anything spicy at all despite the dish title lol, but I guess that's personal preference). The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side so keep that in mind. I would definitely return. The menu offers something for everyone.

They were running their 50% off appetizer deal, which is always a great value. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed with plenty of TVs showing multiple games perfect timing with all the college basketball on, and every screen had a different game playing. Our server, Sophie, was absolutely fantastic. If you go, I highly recommend requesting her. She kept the drinks coming, was extremely attentive, and helped our group decide what to order from the menu, which made everything easy for a big party like ours. The food was amazing across the board from the sliders and chicken tenders to the pasta with shiitake mushrooms my wife ordered, which she said was delicious. Overall, it was a five-star experience and a great night out with the family.

2/16 FIRST VISIT: My boyfriend and I came to Heritage Bar on…read moreFebruary 16 around 2:45 PM. It was pretty quiet since it was early on a Monday. I was deciding between the turkey salad and the Chicken Salad Ciabatta from the lunch specials and asked our server how the chicken salad was, She said it was her favorite and that it was a lot of people's go-to, so I decided to order that. Our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Heritage Nachos, Loaded Tater Tot Skillet, Philly Cheesesteak, and the Chicken Salad Ciabatta. The nachos weren't really for me (I didn't love the type of chips used), but the tots were good and my boyfriend liked his cheesesteak. I absolutely loved the chicken salad sandwich and fries. I get a little fixated on foods I like, so I had honestly been craving that sandwich ever since. 3/14 SECOND VISIT: I decided to come back on March 14 specifically hoping to order the chicken salad sandwich again. It was much busier due to St. Patrick's weekend,I was alone, I was seated in a booth in the back. I was given the dinner menu, so I asked the server about the chicken salad sandwich I had previously ordered. She didn't recognize the sandwich but offered to ask the kitchen after I showed her a photo and the menu from my previous visit. Unfortunately she came back and said they couldn't make it. She suggested a grilled chicken sandwich, but I declined since I'm not really a fan of grilled chicken. I ended up ordering the turkey sandwich and asked for a few modifications (no stuffing or cranberry mayo, just regular mayo on a ciabatta). When the food came out, I immediately knew it wasn't turkey. I waited until the server came back and asked her to confirm what meat was on the sandwich. She initially told me it was turkey. After taking it apart & having a few bites I knew it wasn't turkey. I winded up eating the fries and asking for the bill. I decided to show her the inside of the sandwich again and asked her to double check with the kitchen, she returned and confirmed it was actually ham, even though the ticket showed that she ordered turkey. She did offer to remake the sandwich, but it would have taken another 10-15 minutes and at that point I was already over it. I ended up just paying, and leaving. I completely understand that menus change and servers can't memorize every item. I just wish the sandwich had been confirmed with the kitchen sooner when I questioned it the first time. Overall, my first visit was great, and that chicken salad sandwich was honestly amazing. I just wish the second visit had gone a little smoother.

To make matters worse, one person in our group didn't receive his meal until everyone else had already finished eating. The owner stopped by and casually explained that this "sometimes happens on busy days," and offered us drinks for the inconvenience--but we were still charged for them at the end. When we brought this up to our server, she claimed she wasn't aware of the offer, and we ended up paying full price for everything. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience, with very poor customer service.
