Food and drinks were just average. This location is packed as it had a huge bar. We came in as a group of 4 to eat dinner, wait was about 15 minutes. Derive wasn't super consistent, they didn't come by to check on us much, i believe because they were so busy. My burger and fries was good but the bottom was so wet that I couldn't pick it but and ended up using a fork/knife. The nachos tasted okay but were a bit odd with tomato sauce on them. Popped into celebrate St. Patrick's Day at this location and it was the perfect place for lunch - it is a great spot. The customer service was terrific. We had a party here on Saturday, 25th October, and it was absolutely amazing! The whole place has such a homely feel -- you walk in and instantly feel welcome. The food was incredible, everyone loved it, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we all had a great night. Got there about 2pm. Had a great server named Meg. She was very sweet and gave great suggestions. Very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was great, I had the shepherds pie which was delicious! The other guests had the turkey dinner , the fish and chips and the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The place is very simple and quaint. Very relaxing experience. While sipping on a Pilsner, a Blue Hawaiian, and a wine, my family and I agreed on one thing. MENU PLEASE! They have a great diverse menu for an Irish pub/ restaurant. From fajitas, to shepherds pie and a bunch in between. A lot of space! Plenty of tables and booths = quick service. The food was great. Drinks were better. Definitely stop in. Had a baby shower there today. Organized it with Catherine who was so cooperative every step of the way even though she wasn't going to be there. Peter the manager was a step above the rest who even printed out personalized menus which were such a beautiful touch! Our sever Hayley and our bartender Tiernan were amazing. Rambling House is a nice friendly pub that's close to home. My daughter is a beer drinker so she's in heaven with the various beer options. The food is really good and they always have a homemade daily special. We ordered the homemade meatballs which was very tasty and you can taste the freshness of the ground beef. I also like their wings with blue cheese sauce - very meaty. Then there is the burgers with the homemade fries - juicy burger and crispy fries. The food portions are very filling. The wait staff in the restaurant section are very friendly and they give excellent recommendations. Nothing but good things to say about this place. First off, the place just feels warm and welcoming. First impressions A+. It's also HUGE meaning even though we arrived with two small children and two strollers, they were easily able to accommodate us. I was directed to this place by Google maps. I was going to the post office down the street and I guess it sensed I was hungry. LOL I chose exactly what popped up in the picture, a crispy grilled chicken sandwich on a toasted bun dressed with coleslaw and aioli. Accompanying it was a side of sweet potato fries. I ate it all, even the ketchup was delicious and I don't eat ketchup. My food was so satisfying that I had to continue the experience with dessert. Apple pie a la mode and black Irish tea. A perfect meal for a Saturday afternoon. What topped off my experience was Erika- the waitress. She had a smile that never left and she was warm and friendly. We were seated right away in the outdoor area, but they were so kind about moving us inside once it started getting a little chilly. While the food here I find only average it's grand for bar food but not a place for Sunday dinner or fancy meal out.
