Came here as a group of 3 and everything sounded good so we ordered entirely too much food! We really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, spicy edamame, and queso dip for apps. We also tried the hummus, but none of us really cared for it. Everyone enjoyed their entrees (tacos, burger, spicy garlic noodles). My husband's spicy garlic noodles were very flavorful. I have a mild spice tolerance and I didn't find them spicy at all, but still good. I opted to mix and match tacos and all the flavors were delicious. --I really like when places offer a mix and match situation because I like variety. Though pricy, all of our drinks were on point. The large beer selection was a hit as were the refreshing margaritas. Our server was very friendly. (He did however keep noting things that were listed as spicy were very spicy when no one in our group found anything spicy at all despite the dish title lol, but I guess that's personal preference). I had a great time at Yard House in Ridge Hill in Yonkers, New York. I stopped in with my family and we had a pretty large party of eight. They were running their 50% off appetizer deal, which is always a great value. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed with plenty of TVs showing multiple games perfect timing with all the college basketball on, and every screen had a different game playing. Our server, Sophie, was absolutely fantastic. If you go, I highly recommend requesting her. She kept the drinks coming, was extremely attentive, and helped our group decide what to order from the menu, which made everything easy for a big party like ours. The food was amazing across the board from the sliders and chicken tenders to the pasta with shiitake mushrooms my wife ordered, which she said was delicious. I couldn't stay quiet on my experience today..I came to this location today (Aug 10, 2026) at 3:30pm where the overall service was excellent. The server was very attentive where the actual issue at hand was beyond her fault. Seriously this place needs an exterminator and an exterminator after that. The amount of gnat, fruit flies or whatever it was were literally an infestation. During our entire visit we were swatting them away as other customers were doing the same. One couple moved from their booth seating to a table more centered in attempt to avoid the issue where they eventually just quickly packed up and left. Eventually, a gnat or fruit flies (unsure what they were) landed inside my drink. The kind server noticed the issue throughout the establishment where she even brought use plastic cups with lids; I honestly say these things were flying around like pollen on a bad day. As I'm a very understanding person, the experience was just unacceptable where they should not have been in service. Again, I can't emphasize enough on how this place was the Joe's apartment of gnats or fruit flies. Don't think I'll be returning, sorry but this was very disappointing. Proximity wise, this area is nice and easily accessible. We have been here numerous times and we are always get lucky that we only waited 5 minutes max to get a table. Monday - Friday 3 -6PM 1/2 off APPS FOOD: I find Yardhouse portions to be sharable. Appetizers come with fries which is a plus for me. Food has always made fresh, kitchen staff follows directions. I've literally never had to send anything back to the kitchen. Cons: The hostess sat us in a busy isle with a stroller, so it was a bit uncomfortable. I came for Happy Hour. There is a large selection of food on the Happy Hour. We had sliders with frenchfires and boneless wing with the lemon pepper sauce and the whiskey bbq sauce. As for drinks we had a lemon drop and a Voodo tall glass beer. The music and ambiance is great especially after a long week of work. Went here on New Years Eve for happy hour. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance is nice and upbeat. It's gives a sports bar vibe. The place wasn't too crowded, not sure if that's the norm or because it was NYE. The appetizers and all pizzas are half off. I had the salted watermelon cocktail. This drink was good. It was just the right amount of sweet/salty taste. It wasn't watered either. As for food I ordered the lettuce wrapped chicken. Which is a 10 out of 10. The chicken was seasoned well and the lettuce was fresh. I also orders the chicken nachos which are shown in the photo. They were good, I'd say 8 out of 10. As far as price wise I paid about $38 for three appetizers one cocktail and soda. I would have given 4 stars however, there were two things that I wasn't pleased with. The bathroom that clean, and it too long for our server to take our order. We wound up ordering from the digital menu. read more

I've been to yard house a few times now and the food is usually hit or miss. Located in Ridgehill I'm sure there are better options for food but I always seem to be drawn to this spot. For today's meal we opted for a light dinner and got the fried calamari, spinach artichoke dip and the kale and romaine Cesar salad with chicken. The fried calamari and spinach artichoke dip were part of the happy hour menu so it was 1/2 off. The fried calamari was such a downer. The fried coating on it constantly came off when trying to dip into the marinara. The spinach artichoke though was sooo delicious. I love when they broil some cheese right ontop for that extra flavor! And they gave plenty of Tortilla chips for dipping! The salad was just meh. The kale pieces still had the stem intact which is not ideal and there were barely any Brussel sprouts mixed in. In the whole big plate of salad I saw 2 pieces. The cherry tomatoes were also very soggy. Since I have been there before I will definitely recommend the Cali roll stack and the lobster garlic noodles. It's yard house, it should be solid but likely not spectacular with a huge selection of beers and drinks to choose from. What could be so bad as to give it a 1 star rating??? Well, here goes. 1) service time: I get that things can get busy and it can take a while, but 48 min for 2 burgers and a grilled cheese when the place is less than half full?? Oh and it didn't help that when the food came out, it's clear that my burger had sat under either a heat lamp or in a warming area for a bit. 2) service by waiter: This should really read lack of service. Multiple gaps of 7+ min when we asked for simple items (extra spoon, mayo, extra bowl and plate since he forgot to split the grilled cheese and soup like we had asked for the kids). Sad thing is this is just split into 2 requests as we asked for all but the spoon on getting the food and for the spoon as soon as we realized we only had once when we split the soup. 3) cleanliness/food quality: maybe it's a good thing in a way that we waited so long for the items. My daughter found a nice short black curly hair in her half of the soup. Guess who has hair like that (if you guessed the waiter, you'd be dead on)? Oh and a trip to the bathroom shows they really don't like cleaning here as the bathroom was a mess and a peek into the cooler showed something that clearly should not be there (anyone know the food safety government folks in Yo jets by any chance... maybe you should share this pic with them)! 4) incompetent management: the manager on duty when we went had to be one of the worst managers I've ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Slow, unprofessional, doesn't actually address request timely (after the hair issue, he asked if we were all set and I said I just paid on the little machine they have, but I could use a box... he took 9 min to get a box for us having taken multiple trips out of the back without bringing one to us, but bringing one to another table that didn't need a box based on them leaving without using it). Also, address a problem immediately and not on a delay... his response to the hair in food was that he'd be right back... over 10 min later that is for right back. All in all, don't go to this location. Dirty, unprofessional, food issues, service issues, management issues, this place hits on all of the red emergency light issues to say it's a hard pass for me. read more

Yard house is on my top 5 chain restaurants that I patron on the regular. If you haven't been, they classify themselves as a high end sports bar with classic American fare with some flare. They have tons of draft beers and a full bar with many tvs through out. The bar is essentially the focal point located in the center at most locations that I have been too but the food is not to be missed. I have had many items on the menu and a few seasonal items but this visit I had: Cali Roll Stack crab, crispy rice cake, baby tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, serranos, masago, nori, sweet soy ginger, cilantro, pickled ginger aïoli Shiitake Garlic Noodles shiitake mushrooms, garlic, parmesan Hand Battered Chicken Tenders maple dijon, buttermilk ranch The appetizers were so good and everything was fresh. They have no problem rectifying any food issues and thats always comforting when dining and spending money. This visit everything was perfect. The location I visit often is in Yonkers Ridge Hill Mall but I've been to the Palisades Mall in Nyack, Manhattan, American Dream Mall in New Jersey, and even Las Vegas along the strip. I ordered the food to go and upon ordering, the staff in the front told me it'll be 15 minutes. The customer behind me was also told it'll take 15 minutes. We both waited for 30 minutes! That's double the estimated timeframe. I ordered the lobster garlic noodles which was too salty, I also asked for parmesan on the side which they forgot about. Upon receiving my bag, which I saw them pack. I asked for utensils and the staff in the front said they do not have those. And offered me napkins?? Are you freaking serious? A restaurant that doesn't offer utensils or does the staff not understand the word utensils!? I asked the staff, how am I supposed to eat, with my hands?? He then said, all he can offer are napkins. This isn't my first time here, though suffice it to say my earlier visits were somewhat more pleasant, especially for what was supposed to be a special occasion. In terms of the food, the experience was overall satisfactory: each dish was made well with a slight exception, and mine in particular had a very good flavor and texture composition. The guava cider I had to drink was also a good touch, though it was a slight misstep on my part to pair it with the dish, in particular. Now for the bad--starting small: the bacon & bleu cheese burger had a small issue where the cheese itself congealed and make the texture a bit unpleasant. Likewise, the cheese was topped on the center of the patty, making it overpowering as you reach the center of the burger. More crucial, however, was the service: this was a Thursday evening, when it is not normally very busy with this one being no exception. Nonetheless, our server (apparently, she was "Reem D" based on the receipt) seemed what could be interpreted as somewhat overwhelmed at the start, and we were understanding of it. However, it became clearer that it was closer to aloofness, or perhaps entitlement as we were progressively brushed off as the evening continued. This would come to a head when one of us, deciding to treat the others, brought out cash to pay for the bill while reaching for more for a tip; at this point, she looked at the cash on the table and, completely ignoring any inquiry on the amount for the tip, plainly said that "it wasn't enough for the tip." After a fairly good evening, this demeanor was not all that welcome--let's just say it did affect what tip was given. Yard House is a reliable place all in all, and it's worth getting some pretty good food and drinks at for a casual hangout, just make sure you watch who's serving you if that tends to affect your overall experience. read more
