Dining out has become a daunting event since our doctor ordered my husband to be on a strict gluten-free and dairy free diet. The clear gluten-free menu and the allergen spreadsheet let's takes out the guesswork from ordering. Food is... on the mediocre side... Beautiful day so we wanted outside seating. The wait time before anyone acknowledged you at the table was disgusting. CJ was a great server but everything else was horrible. The wait time for the food was long and the place wasn't packed at all. Our filet Mignon came out rare but we ordered medium well. They ordered us a new one but the time that came was almost an hour later. The breading pudding was cold. I stopped by for dinner while waiting to charge the car. I didn't have any expectation about yard house - i honestly didnt even know what they served here. calamari: super flavorful and i loved the dipping sauce, but they're definitely more on the spicy side. Jambalaya but with linguine: a little bit on the salty side, especially the shrimp were really salty. The pasta was also quite a bit mushy and not linguine shaped, more like angel hair and super thin. Chicken sandwich: i thought this was supposed to be a spicy Nashville style chicken sandwich but it was alright. The chicken was fried really well. Honestly, the Cole slaw was a bit... interesting? It was kind of like coleslaw and shredded cheese combined, interesting but not too bad. Overall, the food was a bit lackluster. It's what i would expect from a chain restaurant a la like Applebee's or chilis. Honestly, the service isn't anything to write home about either. There weren't too many tables and no wait on a Wednesday night, but our server was really hard to track down. I loved the tablet on the table because we didn't have to track down our server and i noticed you could flag a server down, but only after we had already paid. read more

Been here twice already and every time, it's a good visit. Their food is delicious and properly portioned. I got the jambalaya and my boyfriend got the sliders and we couldn't finish our food. The only downside is their crowd control. It's sometimes chaotic due to everyone wanting to grab a bite there because it's in a mall. The service can sometimes be off and slow. Also, they play really loud music outside on the speakers which makes it hard to get a decent conversation out but nonetheless, it's a good spot to feast. read more

I've visited Yardhouse for take out and dine in many more times since my first review and I've gotta give it to em! Easily one of my fave restaurants to eat at. I'm very appreciative of the wealth of vegetarian and vegan options at this establishment. On my last two visits I had the beyond burger. The burger is the best beyond burger that I've had (and even better than the one I make). That's saying something! It's topped with guacamole, onions, tomatoes and a vegan cheese that's so close to the real deal. Their truffle fries are outta this world and outrageously good! Overall, this is a great spot to catch up with your folks, family and friends. I've come to love the atmosphere here. Boy does it get busy and there could be a bit of a wait for takeout on some days. Stopped by Yard House today for the first time and I was truly impressed by the ambiance and the service. Let's start off with the ambiance, dimmed lights with over 200 beers on tap, it's a perfect restaurant to bring your families and friends and even your first date if you want to impress! I started off with their signature buffalo wings and all I have to say was they were full of flavor and what I found very intriguing is the fact that they were very generous on the sauce. Most places do not wet their wings like they do at Yard House. These wings are highly recommended. Second my girlfriend tried out the tortilla soup which wasn't too bad. A little chunky and delicious broth! I was a fan!. For my main entree I choice the spicy beef garlic noodles which threw me into a deep sensational drive! They were amazing! Great quality short rib with some Bok choy all mixed together with the noodles. Fantastic combo! But guys, let's be real, you cannot have all this food and not order yourself a beverage right? Even if it's a pint, a pitcher, how about half a yard ? Yep that's right HALF A YARD. You can get yourself either a Goblet, pint, pub glass or their signature half a yard 32 oz beer. Came here for happy hour for the first time ever. The lady that worked as the bartender was super sweet and made me an amazing dragon fruit cosmo. I loved the drink. The boneless bbq wings were a thumbs down for me though, they were way too chewy. I got a traditional Caesar salad and it was delicious. The portion size was super generous, I was really hungry so I finished it but on a regular day, I would have had to taken some to go. This location is decent in size. I came here with my family, it was a large party, 9 people and including 6 children. That being said, the wait staff was still super duper nice and did not seem even the slightest bit annoyed even though a large table like ours was probably very hectic and hard to manage. I really appreciate businesses with staff like this because it makes a dinner that can be slightly stressful go smoothly and be enjoyable. The food came out pretty quickly as well. We ordered a variety of appetizers like the chicken nachos, a ton of wings, and the spinach dip. The kids had burgers, pizza, shrimp pasta and ate nearly everything. We also ordered the steak bowl and zucchini noodles and those were pretty good for the "healthy" dishes. 5 stars for the family friendly service considering large party with screaming children. And those chicken wings...some of the best wings ever...get the whiskey black pepper sauce ...it was amazing. Last night I went on a date to Yard House. The WNBA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WAS ON. New York Liberty were playing against the Minnesota Lynx.... Series tied 2-2 and this game decided the winner. NO ONE WOULD PUT THE GAME ON. The manager TASHA refused to change the channel on one of the tv's by our table. She said she had to leave the Jets game on and the Mets game on all TVs. There was only ONE TV playing the WNBA Girls championship in the whole bar. IT WAS ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE ROOM. We then asked to move seats and were forced to close out our tab and start all over with a different server. Horrible. NEW YORK LIBERTY WOMANS TEAM MADE HISTORY LAST NIGHT AND WON THE CHIP FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. You would think with a female manager the game would be put at some type of priority. None of the other games were championship games. No one who was sitting next to us had a problem with us wanting the channel changed. She just didn't want to do it. Very sad. Horrible service! Our server "Venus" was very unprofessional! She sat down with her friends instead of attending her guests! The food came out super late that she sent truffle fries to make us feel good. When i know for a FACT, she forgot our order after siting for over 40 minutes! Let's start with this...I Love Yardhouse! I have been to many from the Palisades Mall location to the Flagship in Long beach California. My " Go to" is at Yonkers Ridge Hill however. The Food is fantastic, music is always on point, and staff is exceptional!! Speaking of which, my steady server/bartender at Ridge Hill, Alex, is a great dude and a perfect representative of this company. First time here. Service or should I say lack of service, not once did our waiter stopped by to see if we needed anything. We had to hunt her down for ranch and waited a long long time for a box to go. Food was horrible, they cooked the chips and wings in old oil. Everything was super greasy. I ordered the tortilla soup which was not tortilla soup but green chili cheese soup or something. Super greasy and made me sick. I got to my hotel stomach sick. I definitely do not recommend it. If you're in the area and want a great selection of food in a classy but not super high end place, this is the place to be. This Yard house is found in the Ridgehill mall and there's plenty of parking in the garage areas. Easy to get to without much hassle. From the outside, the place looks enticing and pretty cool - nothing crazy here. When you get inside, the wait isn't too long. We usually come in a party of 2 - 4 people and so far the seating has been super quick. The staff is also welcoming and friendly, so not much trouble there. Regarding the food - great selections and amazing taste. We've had the grilled chicken enchilladas, some appetizers, and the korean bbq cheesesteak (which was delicious). The food is plentiful and filling. The drinks - haven't tried enough to give a fair review. Their specialty cocktails look decent but they're a little pricey. I'd personally opt for a go to mixed drink or any classic mixed drink as they have a full bar. However, their attempts at making a pina colada or blue hawaiian was terrible. Do not attempt to get that because you will be disappointed. Additionally, the wait service wasn't great but wasn't bad. They forgot to get us water when we asked (for the entire table) and then forgot another refill when asked. Pretty much had to finish a meal parched LOL If it wasn't for how good the food is and the chill atmosphere, I'd probably give this place lower stars. The drinks seem good according to other opinions but the menu is a bit overpriced. Everything is what can be expected from your average chain restaurant. Yardhouse has great happy hour food and drink options. It is usually busy during this time, but that does not slow service down. All staff are welcoming and friendly. I recommend the cheese curds, chicken nachos, ahi tuna, and lettuce wraps for the food options on the HH menu. I recommend the lavender drop and cosmo for cocktails. So I come here every Thursday for drink with my good friends and bar food. And the only reason why we continue to come here is for the bartender Ty. She is truly amazing, she makes our time here amazing. Sadly today we found out she is leaving so unfortunately I will NOT be coming back. I can't believe they let Ty go. I still like Yard House a lot and I wish we took more opportunities to come here for their HH specials. My favourite right now is their poké nachos appetizer, which is amazeballs. It has surpassed the poké stack which was too salty and had way too much sauce. Their lobster garlic noodz are ok but don't justify the hefty price tag. The sliders are great and their short ribs are awesome. If you can, stop by for lunch and order one of their lunch specials which includes a soup with your sando. Mostly though, you just can't beat their drink list. They have almost everything that you're looking for and their beer listing is extensive. Flights are definitely recommended. IMO, the bar is the best place to sit, but even at the tables the service is great. The last time we dined here I had an issue with my order because it was made incorrectly and I canceled it, as I always do. The manager dropped by swiftly to try and remedy the situation which I appreciated; I declined, as I always do but I like the fact that they always come to check on the diner if there is any problem. Ordered the small size vampire tacos, well each stupid taco was $6.75 never again fall for everywhere a taco ranges from 2 to 4 bucks but never 6. Also ordered the "al pastor" another failure on the place. The so called al pastor taco: its pork belly flavor less with pineapple. That's it. Small flower tortilla girl 5 bucks. The Vampire taco: small tortilla covered in fried cheese and pulled pork with onions and cilantro. 6.75 each. The rice was nasty. Had the hard part of the pot in pieces and still hard. Hubby's best friend originally suggested coming to Yard a couple of months ago- however, I carelessly thought of something else. She and her fiancé though- got their turn Saturday night. Our party of 7 sat towards the back left surrounded by Flat screens. I actually took more than a peak several times to catch the Bucks and Raptors game during Dinner. The Bar is really a standout as two reviews mentioned. And if I remember correctly, that sucker just wraps around. I'm not gonna lie...Playlist was an interesting mix with some Sting, Marley, Aretha and many others. Our server was pleasant and on it the entire evening. Our friend ordered an endless amount of Appetizers for the table including 2 Onion Ring stacks- which she raved about. (Those were freaking great- by the way!). Two orders of Fried Calamari with legs and all, Noodles with Shiitakes, Fried Mac & Cheese Stack which were very good (I thought), tasty Crispy Brussel Sprouts & Potatoes (sans bacon) and some sort of Chicken Lollipops. And my Seared Tuna Appetizer was delicious and served as it should! To add- portions on all these Appetizers, were big enough to have as an Entrée. I really love the fact that there's more to Yard's menu than just wings and there's really something for everyone. I mean...you AND your Vegan and Vegetarian friends can come here too! The food...not the drinks- are good enough to be a draw in and of itself here. Some Entrees I heard- were good too. Our friend's fiancé ordered the Rare Tuna Steak Sandwich- which looked great, Fried Chicken I heard was good also and hubby's Parmesan-crusted pork loin with a Sage-Cherry Sauce (looked like boneless pork chops) lacked seasoning. My 'Strawberry Fields' Cocktail was a real joke and tasted like Juice. On top of that, it wasn't filled to the rim. I just feel Yard doesn't use top shelf brands at all for their Cocktails and don't take them seriously. I'm not even sure if I should go for wine next time- because they might be diluted too. But in any case, the entire night was full of laughter. Listen...I'm not a sports bar chain fan but it was nice for hubby and I to get a piece of the action here. It's open a bit later at night then any other business at Ridge Hill so it's super convenient for night owls. Their food gets a rating of 2 for me. Everytime I've come here I've ordered different things (to not judge harshly) and all of them unappetizing and/or have tasted bad. Their drinks, however, never disappoint. They are always well made and are the right amount of strong. The place itself is super clean and well managed.
