Apple arugula salad
Kay F.

Hidden spot. Went in on a friday evening at the tail end of happy hour. Sat at the bar and waa immediately greeted. The server informed me that happy hour was ending soon. My order: spicy mango wings, mango public drink and the apple arugula salad. Wings came really quickly. Flavorful, sauce which was really good. Portion was large. Issue i had was the wings were not a crispy. They were very light bordering white under the sauce. Wings were cooked but could have been done more and also wasn't seasoned. Wrong was good but had it been seasoned, done crisper would have been so good. The drink was really good just as. Salad was with arugula. The apple wasn't crispy crunchy but soft crunchy. Presentation was really good, but needed some contrast such as a blue cheese or maybe a goat cheese. I also loved seeing the bartender cleaning continually.

This is my third time visiting this restaurant and I can say that I'm not disappointed. I make the effort to get the coffee expresso, which is amazing. The food is excellent especially the pizza.

I was very pleased at Public Pizza- I went on a date night with my 7 year old nephew who loves pizza- he got the kids pepperoni pie which came with bunny ears- I thought that was pretty cute and so did my nephew. It put a smile on my nephews face. And he devoured it! The place feels comfortable and relaxed. It is a great place to have dinner with family and friends since they have many other delicious choices.

New York CLASSIC NY STYLE PIZZA LUNCH

Went to happy hour ordered the New York Style cheese pizza and buffalo wings, they were both really good. Service was great, Graziella was attentive and very friendly. I would recommend.

Would've gave 5 stars but service is not good. Came here on a Saturday night for dinner with a group of 6. Walking in you smell the pizza so you know it smells amazing in here. We all decided to play it safe and try different pies. The pizza pies come with about 5-6 pieces and the pie is 12" round. The margheritta was hands down everyone's favorite. The prosciutto and arugula was also pretty tasty. The pepperoni pie was great. The only two pizzas I didn't taste were the regular and the margerita with an add on of chicken. But apparently they were also good. App ordered was calamari, which was perfectly fried and lightly breaded. And some cheesy garlic bread which was good as well. The vibe here is romantic and classy, with nice music. As for the service, it was beyond questionable!! The waitress we got interrupted me multiple times, when I asked for water for my sister in law she was quick to say she already got a sprite. & another girl who brought out my pizza said he's your "salami" pizza. Obvious that she's not knowledgeable about Italian cuisine what so ever. Embarrassing actually. We said salami ? This is prosciutto. She said yeah whatever it is and walked away. Service wasn't the best whatsoever but the food made up for it.

I think this Italian place is the cutest! It's a dim romantic setting and the food is great. We got an order of baked clams as an appetizer. It was wonderful but there were some shells in it that we had to spit out. The service was fast but not extremely friendly. I got the spaghetti carbonara and it was very good! My boyfriend loves the Alfredo pasta.

This was my first time at this restaurant and let me start out by saying the service was amazing!! They were super busy with a ton of different families/parties but still sat me down super quick. The waitress was sooo friendly, it was honestly really refreshing. The manager even checked in on me to ask how was everything - which I appreciated. The food was very good. Everything came out quickly, hot, and fresh. I was able to take some leftovers home for the next day which was great since I have a busy schedule as of late.

Saturday afternoon in Ridge Hill and no disrespect just over the CF, so desperately needed another option. Let's face it places haven't lasted the long haul in Ridge Hill and that is even true for the location that Public Pizza now calls home. This location has housed a few other restaurants previously. Nonetheless we were hungry and happy to to stumble upon another option besides what was previously mentioned. So Public Pizza came to our private rescue. Upon entering, similar blueprint as previous occupants. It wasn't busy so we were seated immediately. After perusing the menu we decided to share a salad and a pizza. Unable to decide between our top two choices our waitress offered us the options to do 1/2 & 1/2. A great suggestion, with this being our first visit we were unaware that was an option. The Cesar Salad with cherry tomatoes and a side of anchovies came out first. Fresh & light and the mountain of parmesan cheeses on top was appreciated. Our pizza was a small 1/2 chicken parmesan and 1/2 bbq chicken, a total of 6 slices (3 of each). The pizza was just decent, the chicken parmesan was actually bland but the bbq chicken had flavor thanks to the barbecue sauce. Overall, a good time was had... would be interested in trying other dishes, might even give the pizza another spin. Just A Note: There was a $4 up-charge for the cherry tomatoes and the anchovies.

Stopped in here while killing time after dropping off an Apple Store repair nearby. Nice space...some outdoor seating. Indoors space was neat and very clean. Ordered a small pizza and some drinks...service was good.Drinks were brought out quickly and pizza took about 15-20 minutes...understandably. Pizza was fair...not the best...not the worst. Server wasn't the cheeriest person...a very stright-to-the-business person...He could have been busy, but smiling does help a lot, especially when you are in the customer service. Even after a 20% tip...there was no acknowledgment on the way out after we said bye...maybe I am expecting too much...

Place is nicely decorated and service is good. We ordered the baked clams they were ok to mushy not enough flavor. Garlic bread with cheese was the best.

When we walked in, the Latin music was playing at a nice, comfortable volume and the place was lively with a full house. It's a large space but still felt welcoming. We grabbed seats at the bar and started with a frozen margarita (very good!) and a glass of Spanish red wine. For food, we shared the empanadas to start--delicious--and then ordered the Cubano sandwich and the lamb chop tapas. Both were really tasty and definitely hit the spot. The manager even came over to say hello, which was a nice touch. All in all, great food, fun atmosphere, and now I know I shouldn't wait so long next time I'm walking past on my way to Dick's!

When we first got seated, we waited more than 15 minutes for a glass of water and then we had to wait another 10 minutes for the waiter to come and take our orders once he took the orders. The appetizers came first and then our drinks and then our food after that I did not see the waiter for another 30 minutes and the place was not even full. He was too busy chatting up with his coworkers. I finished my meal and had to wait for the bill again the place is beautiful. The food is great, but the service is very, very much lacking.

We also tried the hummus, but none of us really cared for it. Everyone enjoyed their entrees (tacos, burger, spicy garlic noodles). My husband's spicy garlic noodles were very flavorful. I have a mild spice tolerance and I didn't find them spicy at all, but still good. I opted to mix and match tacos and all the flavors were delicious. --I really like when places offer a mix and match situation because I like variety. Though pricy, all of our drinks were on point. The large beer selection was a hit as were the refreshing margaritas. Our server was very friendly. (He did however keep noting things that were listed as spicy were very spicy when no one in our group found anything spicy at all despite the dish title lol, but I guess that's personal preference). The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side so keep that in mind. I would definitely return. The menu offers something for everyone.

They were running their 50% off appetizer deal, which is always a great value. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed with plenty of TVs showing multiple games perfect timing with all the college basketball on, and every screen had a different game playing. Our server, Sophie, was absolutely fantastic. If you go, I highly recommend requesting her. She kept the drinks coming, was extremely attentive, and helped our group decide what to order from the menu, which made everything easy for a big party like ours. The food was amazing across the board from the sliders and chicken tenders to the pasta with shiitake mushrooms my wife ordered, which she said was delicious. Overall, it was a five-star experience and a great night out with the family.
