Yesterday, my buddy and I decided to do deep dive into Sea Fire Grill. We tried their several appetizers, two entrees, four sides, 2 desserts and their Old Fashions. Only the finest restaurants truly know how to make Old Fashions and no one else makes a better one than the Sea Fire Grill. I love fried, crisp calamari and theirs was particularly good. My friend had colossal shrimp and loved it. I sampled one, and I concur with him. We each had the lobster bisque soup which was superb. The best I have ever had. I had the New York Sirloin which was mouthwatering It was so good that after each bite, I just sat back in my chair and savored it as I slowly chewed. For sides, I had the fingerling potatoes and shared the broccoli rabe. My friend had the roasted Mediterranean branzino, that he went crazy over. We topped everything off with a delicious chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. The does not even scratch the surface of what dining is like here. It is the ambiance, the beautiful, relaxing view of the Hudson River and the New York and New Jersey shorelines. It is the knowledge each worker has about the food and drinks served. Inside, the restaurant's decor...well, you will not find it better anywhere else. I cannot wait to return in the fall when the setting sun turns the Hudson orange. Excellent restaurant and staff. read more

The Sea Fire Grill - My high school buddy, Jeff, and me. - Seafood Near Me - Yonkers, New York

Beautiful room, beautiful views, and a kitchen that can't back either up. We arrived to a mostly empty dining room with gorgeous Hudson River views. After being offered a table in the center of the empty room, we asked for a window table and were seated at a four-top. Then the disorganization started: we were asked about water preference, handed a drink menu, and left for a good five minutes with no food menus while several waiters stood idle nearby. When our waiter arrived, he seemed surprised our reservation was for two, cleared the extra settings, and brought menus -- one of which was missing the appetizer page entirely. The food was hit-or-miss, mostly miss. The bright spots: an excellent mocktail, very good jumbo shrimp cocktail (nice touch serving remoulade, mignonette, and caper berries), and broccoli rabe that was legitimately the best thing on the table -- perfectly cooked, garlic and red pepper spot on. Now the rest. The Kumamoto oysters weren't served as cold as they should be, and one was fishy. My girlfriend's cocktail was mediocre. Her halibut had a mealy texture, and the gnocchi and fava beans alongside it were underseasoned. My $165 tomahawk arrived visibly overcooked -- enough that our waiter told the server to skip the usual tableside butter-basting to avoid cooking it further. I didn't send it back because my girlfriend's food was already down and I didn't want to eat alone twenty minutes later. Each slice had a half-inch gray band around the edge with only a narrow strip of medium-rare in the center. It carried an aged smell and flavor, but not the clean, nutty character of a properly dry- or wet-aged steak. For that price point, this cut should be the kitchen's signature. It wasn't close. The lobster mac was the low point: the lobster meat tasted fishy -- something I've rarely encountered anywhere -- and the dish had a dried-out crust suggesting it sat under a heat lamp before reaching us. Dessert, a lava cake, was genuinely delicious. Telling that the best course of the night was the one most likely not made in-house. Service throughout was disjointed: my empty drink was never addressed, and after dessert we sat roughly ten minutes before flagging someone down for the check. On the way out, I spoke with the two managers standing near the entrance -- making clear upfront that I wasn't seeking comps or special treatment, just giving honest feedback since I was unlikely to return. One manager simply stood and listened. The other, who introduced himself as "the boss," told me I should have spoken up during the meal, assured me they have a strong following with famous clientele, and disputed our initial wait time despite not having been in sight when it happened. Meanwhile, our waiter stood conspicuously within earshot listening to the conversation rather than tending his tables. Worth noting: we learned the same group runs Benjamin Steakhouse in Hartsdale, where I've had a similarly mediocre experience. The consistency across locations tells you this isn't an off night -- it's the standard. If you want to pay Manhattan steakhouse prices for inconsistent food and disorganized service -- with a great view -- this is your place. We won't be back. read more

I had such an amazing experience at The Sea Fire Grill. I am familiar with the Manhattan location and this one is truly a gem. I had the surf and turf styled platter which was loaded with 3 different seafoods and a nice cut of steak. my leftovers was still tender after reheating. My SO had the branzino and I'm just going to assume his food was excellent because by time I got back from the restroom the entire fish was devoured! smh it was Fathers Day so I let it slide... lol The drinks were standard, I believe we only did one round since we wanted to check out the rest of the area. The staff was on point and the manager stopping by to great us and have a lil chat about our evening was a nice touch as well. nonetheless this is a quick lil drive from the city that I don't mind having for date night. read more

In the old Peter Kelly's X2O location Yonkers NY a new special occasion opened up, The Seafire Grill. What can one say. It's part of the Benjamins Steakhouse family. We just happen to stumble in during Hudson Valley Restaurant week. The service is top notch. The interiors updated with stunning Hudson River views including views of Manhattan. After a perusing the menu for a while, we decided on Lobster Bisque, Wedge Salad with Lardons, Spanish Octopus, Grilled Bronzino, Squid Ink Pasta with Lobster, Spinach and Mashed Potatoes. All the dishes were very good Even from the Restaurant week menu the portions were generous. read more

My daughter and I recently shared our first mother-daughter lunch since the birth of my grandson five weeks ago, and it felt truly special. Formerly X2O on the Yonkers waterfront, the new Sea Fire Grill has done an outstanding transformation of the space. The new designed dining space takes advantage of the sweeping views of the Hudson River from every table as well as an expansive bar. From the moment we arrived from Valet to the Host and wait staff we knew we would have a special dining experience and they delivered. I splurged on the caviar course, which was truly luxurious. The tin was opened tableside and served with mini blinis and classic accompaniments--finely diced red onion, egg whites, yolks, chives, and crème fraîche--presented over ice. The restaurant offers a three-course prix fixe lunch on Saturdays and Sundays for $45, though à la carte options are also available. We opted for the prix fixe menu and were more than satisfied. To start, I chose the Bibb salad with caramelized pecans, Boursin cheese, and Craisins, lightly tossed in a reduced balsamic vinaigrette. The portion was generous, refreshing, and very satisfying. My daughter selected the lobster bisque, which she thoroughly enjoyed--velvety smooth and full of lobster flavor. For entrées, she ordered the Scottish roasted salmon, cooked perfectly medium as requested, with a crisp top. It was moist, flavorful, and paired beautifully with black rice and a honey dill sauce on the side. I chose the petite filet mignon and can honestly say it was cooked as near-perfect medium as I've ever had in a restaurant--tender, juicy, and expertly prepared. It was served with roasted potatoes, asparagus tips, and cherry tomatoes. The only minor misstep was a slightly heavy hand with the oregano on the vegetables but it hardly detracted from an otherwise excellent dish. By the time dessert arrived, we were quite full, but since it was included, we indulged. We shared a cheesecake and tiramisu. The cheesecake stood out--light, creamy, and finished with a reduced tart cherry topping--while the tiramisu was also very good. If we had to choose, the cheesecake was the clear favorite. Entrées and deserts were ample portions. All in all, it was a memorable lunch marked by exceptional food, thoughtful service, and a meaningful moment shared between mother and daughter. It's amazing when you can find one option as a vegan at many fine dining restaurants. The Sea Fire Grill has so many we couldn't order them all in one sitting! It was beautiful, we watched the sun set on the Hudson as we enjoyed our Mocktails. We'll definitely be back! read more

First and foremost their is valet parking. Location is everything and this establishment is right on the water the view is spectacular. I reserved a table for my Anniversary. Restaurant located on the second floor. The first floor has a staircase or you can proceed to use elevator towards the back. I requested a booth which overlooks the whole room but if you want a table with a view request a table by the window and you see the Hudson depending on the time of years it's whimsical. We came after the snow storm the view to Jersey was beautiful ice covered the Hudson definitely epic dinner. The place is grande and the device is spot on. We loved oysters so we got them raw and baked both equally delicious. We both ordered fish but I loved mine with the lemon sauce with capers. Very pricey so bring your credit card lol read more

My husband and I debated between trying this new place and going to Benjamin's. We opted for something new and came here but wish we had gone to Benjamin's afterwards. Namely, because I wanted menu items that were at Benjamin's but were not available at their sister restaurant. Our son also had buyer's remorse. He enjoyed the lamb chops better at Benjamin's. Also, my husband's steak didn't look as appetizing as Benjamin's. The staff were nice though and very accommodating. The ambiance is awesome and the view of the Hudson is to die for. But the food was okay for $537 for three people. read more

Sea Fire Grill is 10/10 for an upscale date night or celebratory dinner. We had the colossal crab cocktail and beet salad to start, followed by a tomahawk, lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Everything was delicious and plentiful, no corners cut. Service was kind and attentive. Can't wait to go back. read more

Visited this restaurant on Saturday for a bridal shower that was held in their party room. This was an old restaurant that was newly renovated in October of 2025. Free valet parking available and the views from this restaurant are phenomenal. Located right on the water, One side is the New York City scape view and the other is the Tappan Zee Bridge. You can take the stairs or the elevator to the 2nd floor and this is where the magic happens. Definitely more upscale and perfect for date nights or celebrations. We were a party of about 25 ladies and the party room In the back was the perfect size for dining with room for a dessert table and presents. We were given personalized menus with delicious options. As well as family style side dishes and desserts. The wait staff was very efficient and the party ran smoothly without a hit hitch. I'm sure the view from the ceiling to floor windows is breathtaking at night. Will definitely be back again to try out their dinner menu. read more

Amazing food and experience! My wife and I celebrated our wedding by eating here with our family after the wedding ceremony and we had an incredible experience! All the food was so delicious! I especially loved the lobster Mac n cheese! The staff were all so kind, funny, and hospitable! Our server Enes was so amazing and Benny was so kind, making sure we had a great experience and were able to take some nice pictures at the restaurant and on their beautiful patio! The restaurant was so beautiful as well! Also, we were able to get a nice veteran discount here as well! Leah, the event manager, was also amazing at responding to all our emails and making sure we were all set for our lunch reservation. The pictures at the restaurant were so nice as well and the breathtaking view of Manhattan from the restaurant was amazing! Highly recommend this place to others! read more

This was originally a 4-star from me. It was practically perfect. The food was amazing. Beautifully presented. Service was excellent. Renovation, gorgeous. I also really loved that there were salt and pepper shakers on the table. Tells you the chef is flexible-sometimes even amazing food needs a little salt. Dessert. Delicious. The only hiccup--we had ordered a dozen oysters and we were brought 11. When we figured out we didn't have 12 we told our server. They came back with--1 oyster. It would have been better if they had given us 3. But what then bumped it up to a FIVE was when we learned they had only been open for three weeks. Five stars. Restaurant was up and running pretty smoothly--very impressed with that. It is pricey. But honestly for a fancy ladies night would hit up the bar and for a special night would absolutely go back. read more

What a delicious treat with upscale ambiance! We were told they just redecorate and reopened, and the space looked beautiful. Our server was so nice! They were all very friendly and professional. Will I return absolutely, the food was perfectly executed. Delicious flavorful and I'm will not to pay restaurant week prices for it . What I absolutely loved was their cocktail and wine selections; the view as always formerly this location was Xavier's the view is super; the bar is centrally now located so it's makes more sense ... surrounded by beautiful wines. The elevator is a necessity especially for my girlfriend on crutches. What I didn't love was 2 sets of cars non of us realized their was a valet actually working until we self parked . I was informed that my squid ink pasta was made in a fra diablo sauce , no where in the menu was it stated nor did a water warn me. Was good yes could I even attempt to finish it no . Like my tiramisu. I had a bite ... I wasn't offered a to go container and our waiter sort of disappeared. Sea Fire in nyc has their act together so I'm sure this place has some growing pains to go through. read more

Parking is hectic but doable. The place is huge. The view is amazing. Cocktails would be described as OK. Service was mediocre. The lobster was a lobster and was reasonably well prepared and presented. The King crab legs were typical except for the price tag, which was $300. The crowd was a mixture-- A little bit of everything. Noise level was high. read more

For more reviews check me out @theblackgirlatleisure on all socials. Cheers! Cocktails/drinks: 10/10 Wide variety of wines and spirits. Whoever stocked their bar didn't cut any corners. All your top shelf favorites are available. Drinks I've tasted here: Dirty Gin Martini (Tanqueray) Espresso Martini Chardonnay (can't remember the name) They all tasted as they should LOL, the best way I can describe it. Service: 8.5/10 I've visited two times. The first time, I had an about 45 minute wait despite having reservations (granted, I was 10 mins late to the reservation). However, at the bar the bartenders were attentive and took great care of me while I waited. The second time I came, I was on time for my reservation and it was a slower day so I was seated immediately. The servers were knowledgeable and gracious both times I visited. I also wanted to add that both times I visited, dessert was served with a complimentary limoncello or port wine. This is such a nice touch! Food: 10+/10 On this visit I ordered: * Jumbo Lump Crab cake (Fresh, juicy, great accoutrements) * Daily selection of East and West Coast oysters * Porter House for 2 (The most perfect medium rare steak I've ever eaten) * Fingerling Potatoes (Crispy outside, soft and delicious inside.) * Chocolate Cake (Warm, soft, not too sweet, really good!) Bathroom: 10/10 Clean, well-lit, nice modern finishes, ideal for photos. I really liked the high quality paper towels. Ambiance: 10/10 This restaurant is beautifully designed in a way that plays up the natural backdrop outside of its panoramic windows. With waterfront views and moody lighting, you're bound to have a peaceful and enjoyable night. Overall: 9.7/10 A nice establishment to celebrate a special night, birthday, business deal, or just have a romantic night. read more

We had such a wonderful experience here!! We live nearby and were curious/excited to see what they would do with this sweet location and we were blown away. Food, Wine, Service and Ambience: 10/10 We spontaneously went last night for dinner after work on their opening night -- a hop skip and a jump away from the Yonkers Metro- North train station. We took the stairs to the second floor (they have elevators too) ignore the empty host stand at the entrance of the first floor. From the moment we walked in we could tell everything was thoughtfully curated. They are right on the river with a beautiful view of the city and the palisades with an expansive and delicious wine selection. The ambience is great, staff were attentive and the food and presentation were incredible. The dining room is comfortable and beautiful. The menu was heavy and tactile with great options. The food was delicious and very satisfying-- I had oysters, an amazing beet salad with 2 glasses of their Bordeaux Blend and my husband had the ribeye with fries and 2 Bourbon old fashions. For dessert we ordered affogatos with Baileys and were given Port on the house. The bathroom was seamlessly tucked away, clean, pretty and smelled great. The price is fair for the quality of goods and service provided. We will definitely be returning read more

Decided to come here out of the blue on a solo date. Walked in. Didn't care much for the smell of the elevator in fact that was the only bad part of the evening. I was immediately greeted as I exited the elevator. I was greeted moments after I say at my table by my server Nick. After looking at the menu I decided on the love potion. Funny enough Nick said that was going to be the drink I would order. Somehow it's taste was different than what I thought it would be a I thought it would be sweeter. I started with the oyster Rockefeller. I wanted charbroiled oysters so this was the closest. These were really delicious. Nice flavor. I then had the bronzino & mac n cheese. Plenty of lobster in the mac and cheese. Could do with a little more cheddar but really creamy. The portion size was also just right. The bronzino was ok but adding a little lemon juice took it to delicious. I was torn between the tiramisu or creme brulee but went with the tiramisu. Only thing this needed was a cup of coffee. This was my 1st time but will not be my last. The attentiveness was one of the best I've had. As I arrived i kept seeing people come in and be greeted like this was Cheers, and I can see how this would be that place. Added touch was that you get to ask for your car by text before you exit. Yep this spot will be on my repeat list. read more

Had very high hopes for this place, knowing it was owned by the same group as Benjamin, which I always enjoy. Unfortunately not great and definitely not worth the prices. It's a beautiful restaurant with fantastic views, if that is your motivation then this place could be a good choice, but if looking for great food, probably better options. We had grilled calamari for app, it was chewy and wasn't very flavorful. I had the sirloin medium and my wife had the squid ink pasta with lobster. My steak was cooked medium well instead of medium, it was also much saltier than I have had many times at Benjamin, for a $79 steak I was disappointed just didn't have the flavor or juiciness I am used to. My wife said the lobster didnt taste fresh and a little skimpy. Almost $400 later, and felt like I had a mediocre meal, not sure I would come back. read more

I am not rating an experience because unlike the former establishment the prices are crazy! The view is stunning but wow! Clearly if you want to eat here you need to be prepared to drop $100's of dollars. Sixty dollars for a piece of fish that comes with nothing. Where do I even begin? Absolutely horrible -- from the service, to the food, to the overall experience. PLEASE READ BEFORE COMING. Our reservation was for 9:00 PM. We were seated around 9:10 PM, and our waiter immediately took our drink and prix fixe orders. We received our drinks, appetizers, and bread service by 9:45 PM -- which was already pushing it. That's when everything went downhill. We noticed that tables seated after us were receiving their entrees before we were. Our waiter was nowhere to be found, except when he happened to notice my boyfriend's empty beer glass -- very convenient. He never once came over to give us an update on our food or explain the delay. The couple seated next to us even commented, "I hope your steak comes cooked better than ours," because their steaks were so cold they had to be sent back. So when did we finally get our entrees? 11:00 PM. The only reason we even got them was because I had to flag down a busboy to locate our server -- who personally brought them out over an hour later while the restaurant was literally clearing out. And of course, the surf and turf, cream of spinach, and mushrooms were all lukewarm at best. To make matters worse, the "champagne toast" promised in the prix fixe menu was never given to us. I understand it was Valentine's Day, but "busy" is not an excuse for zero communication. A simple update would have gone a long way. Instead, all we got was a lazy, "Sorry, it's really busy." My father works in the restaurant industry, and this level of service is honestly embarrassing -- especially for a business associated with Benjamin's Steakhouse. But the real cherry on top? They automatically added 20% gratuity for this disgraceful experience. We paid over $400 for food and service that I could've gotten at Outback, but were forced to tip like we were dining at the Waldorf Astoria. We were given no choice but to reward incompetence. Never returning here, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place and any of their affiliated locations. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. read more

The Sea Fire Grill is located at the same spot as the Xavier's or X20 restaurant, as some called it. I always loved Xavier's for the service, the food, the waiters and of course the view of the Hudson River and the palisades on the New Jersey side of the Hudson. The only thing good left good of the previous restaurant was the view of the Hudson. The rest of my experience of basically down hill. First, as we checked in they didn't ask if we wanted to check our coats. We carried them to our seats. Next we ordered hot sauce for the shellfish. It never came. I mean never. I ordered lamb chops medium well. They came pink on the inside almost rare. Plus, they were so fatty that I couldn't eat half of the chops. The waiters would disappear for long periods of time so that you could not place an order or place an additional order, until you didn't want it anymore. I am hoping that they are just having growing pains and eventually get it together or they may not be there very long. read more

The Sea Fire Grill - Porterhouse for two - Seafood Near Me - Yonkers, New York

It's only fitting that I am able to create the first Yelp review for the brand new Sea Fire Gill in Yonkers- long story.... Housed in the former Peter Kelly X2O space the Benjamin Restaurant Group team has redecorated this space to new & very sharp levels. The Dylan bar is gone, replaced with private event space and the stunning views speak for themselves. The GW bridge to the left and the Mario Cuomo bridge to the right is as good as it gets. The grand opening party on 10-8 was a lavash affair with copious amounts of excellent fare including speeches from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. The sliders were exceptional as was the raw bar including caviar and most everything served was top notch. Service was accommodating and there was music on a very beautiful night after the morning rain storms. Benjamin's understands hospitality so I anticipate they will deliver at this space on a very high level. Kudos to the Benjamin restaurant Group for making this courageous leap as this is a very big project. Best of luck. read more
