Snow crab legs

I HIGHLY suggest this place, the drinks are strong! The food and seasoning is EXCELLENT! and the service is top tier. I went a few years ago and I had a bad experience but it only got better and better

Garlic bread - do indulge. It's delicious.

Arrived at this location, and it was buzzing - the music, the energy the vibe was all good. we were seated upon entering - no issues there. Then we sat and waited...... Water did not arrive - and we waited. then came along a young man who apologize for the wait because he "did not know we were there" - he took our orders as we had more than enough Time to get ready for his arrival. He was pleasant and kind with suggestions. More waiting...... still no water.....The food arrived and it was delicious, No utensils we had to ask for utensils, we had to ask for water, and finally we had to ask for the thing that you use to crack the crab legs. Somebody knows the name of that. Tell me what that is. Let me say, say pack your patience. The food will be good, but the service might not be. I've been to a few other locations where the customer service is efficient. I will say everyone was pleasant and they did acknowledge the delays and the lack of good service. My guess is that this is also a very busy pick up Uber eats location, as our server seemed quite busy getting orders bagged which naturally impacted our service. You will enjoy the foo!

My cousin wanted to go here for lunch. She has passed buy a few times and wanted to try it out. We had the shrimp and fish combo and the fried fish sliders as well as the garlic noodles. Everything was good. The garlic noodles were really good. My only negative is the temperature inside the restaurant is cold (for me). Our waitress Tennille, such a nice young lady.

Happy hours starts at 11 a plus. Lots of parking also a plus. Service was friendly. Music was good. Great vibe!! The seating area is very spaced out. Perfect for small groups or large. Cool for a casual date night. Besides seafood they also offer wings, tenders and other things. We had the fried fish basket and the shrimp basket both with crab fries. The seafood was very fresh. Crab fries were tasty. Drinks were good also. Definitely would go back.

Was craving seafood on a budget. A quick yelp search brought me to this restaurant. Quick & friendly service & prices are amazing. I ordered the $25 special seafood boil that came with mussels, shrimps, corn and a potato with the crab du jour seasoning & it put me into a food coma. I immediately had to take a nap after I ate my boil. The bag itself was definitely shareable sized. The flavor was on point and I enjoyed every second of my meal. 1000% will be coming back here to try other options.

From The Moment You Walk In Crab Du Jour The Service Is Impeccable. From The Very First Encounter With The Hostess. She Was Very Kind And Welcoming. The Waitress We Had Did An Amazing Job From Taking The Orders To Coming Back And Forth Making Sure That Everything Was Perfect. The Actual Ambiance Of The Restaurant Gives Off A Great Vibe. The Seating Area Is Very Spaced Out Where You Are Not On Top Of Each Other And Also Catered To Our Party Of 7. They Play A Variety Of Music That Keeps You Grooving While Enjoying Great Food, Laughs And Drinks. The Cheese Steak Egg Rolls Were Amazing. The Sauce Given To Top It Off With A Little Sweetness. Ima Not A Fan Of Oysters However The Other In The Party Enjoyed Them. I Opted For A Combo Bag (Create Your Own) With The Crab Du Jour Sauce. It Was Very Succulent & Flavorful. We Also Had The Calamari ( Not Pictured) However It Was Friend To Perfection. I'm A Wing Girl, So These Wings We Well Done As Requested And The Buffalo Sauce Was Amazing. Last But Not Least Hats Off To The Bartender The Drinks & Shots We Perfectly Crafted. It Wasn't My First Time & Making The 30 Minute Drive Wont Be The Last.

Thank you for the awesome service at Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood located in Pelham. Excellent seafood boil! The staff, service, and food is great. The atmosphere is very clean, safe, and laidback atmosphere. If your in Pelham, highly recommend you give this place a try. You will not be disappointed with the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

I was craving seafood and wanted to treat my friend to a pre-Mother's day meal, so she recommended this place and we went here for dinner. It was a nice sunny day in NY too so we really wanted to go outside and enjoy some good food. I ordered the scallops, shrimp (head off), and green mussels with my crab du jour special sauce. My food came out within 10 minutes and it was piping hot and ready to devour! The food was truly delicious! The Crab Du Jour sauce was tasty and perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and my server was really nice. Highly recommend this location for seafood in the tri-state area!

Seafood boil was great. Crab legs, Mussels and head off shirmp were good. We tried the crab rangoon appetizer and they weren't that great. The Fried calamari was good but the marinara sauce was just chunks of tomatoes not really a sauce. Ambiance: Today mustve been party night because the music was on 100 blasted. Couldn't really speak to each other at the table it was so loud. The service was just ok. The server seemed as if she was overwhelmed. I felt as if everytime we asked for something she seemed annoyed but she was busy so maybe just frustrated from being busy. Too a while to get us our to go bags and for the check.

For those who live in Co-op City and the immediate vicinity, this is place I would keep steadily on repeat. Part of my experience was navigating the MTA subway, specifically the 2 and 5 trains, thinking Baychester Ave on the 5 was the best stop, but the end of the line at Eastchester-Dyre Avenue may be better. Walking Tillotson Ave from Baychester, you have to know how to take Tillotson to its apparent end along the New England Thruway and where to cross a pedestrian walkway that passes over I-95 to access the continuation of Tillotson on the Co-op City side of I-95. Access to Kaijin can be a factor in your experience, but the experience adds to my knowledge of NYC and how to do it again, because Kaijin is worthwhile to experience again. I arrived around 4:30 on a Saturday. This was a mistake. I would arrive when the restaurant opens or when the dinner rush calms down after seven. As a single person, they will lower your priority on the wait-list. I checked a few times as my number 16 was passed over until I insisted when number 32 was called. They could improve the management of the wait-list. They are trying to seat as many people as possible and many come as large parties for birthdays and from Connecticut and Virginia I overheard. Right off I-95, Kaijin has become a destination, so you are better to visit on a weekday and avoid the weekends if possible. Getting right to the point, the steamed lobster tails come out hot, buttered and well seasoned. On a crowded Saturday, a few people are very aggressive with one woman being offensive. I didn't escalate, but I can see this becoming a hostile scene. They bring out the lobster tails and ring a bell to let everyone know. Waiting for my second lobster tail around the 70 minute mark, I had my plate ready. On a busy weekend afternoon or evening, you will be lucky to have three lobster tails. I did not take any pictures after a lengthy trip to the restaurant and about an hour wait. There is something for everyone and it's not all seafood. The fried chicken looked great. I never got over to the sushi or salad and cold items buffet . The steak and beef short ribs cut the Asian style were not as tender and tasty as I had hoped. The baked salmon was good. The steamed deveined shrimp were better, along with the mussels, both very fresh and well seasoned; though, the shrimp can become overcooked if sitting out too long. The buttery seafood shells, crispy calamari and fried fish were excellent and I ate plenty. That fried fish was crispy on the outside with seasoned batter and flaky inside, almost like cod! I was not in the mood to eat the always plentiful crab legs after my efforts this Saturday. The lobster was superb, but I only managed two. I did not get to the ice cream and desserts. I can understand there is plenty of room for a more glowing review if you are able to access Kaijin at a better day and time, but my reviews are based on facts and real time experience. One could come for the $24 weekday lunch buffet, minus the lobster, or come for the $39 dinner buffet with the lobster on a weekday evening. Given the dinner buffet is open all weekend, I imagine you are better arriving very early or perhaps come after seven on a weekend. Almost everyone behaved well under the circumstances. When I was finally seated, the server quickly took my drink order, lemon iced tea, and never let my glass go empty. My plates and napkins were cleared regularly and efficiently. They did not rush you with the bill at the ninety minute mark and my table was made ready for the next guests by the time I put on my hat and backpack. The bathroom in the back right corner was clean on the way out. 3.7 stars, but could be better on a weekday.

As for me, my chicken parm was the epitome of 'comfort food.' And by that, I mean it came covered with cheese and sauce and looked like something out of a Star Trek episode ... but it was delicious, and the leftovers came home for a second meal :) One of the other reviews referred to the Marina View as a 'hidden treasure', and that's kinda true as it's off the beaten path. My friend says he and his wife come here all the time and get the same thing. I brought someone here and we liked it very much and at $38, it's a good value. We walked in the nautically themed Crab Shanty and were seated quickly. Even though the Lobster Special had disappeared from the official menu, I understand it was always possible to order it and it was inevitable they had to bring it back out on the official menu. It comes first with garlic bread that you will devour. Next you have the choice of a salad or clam chowder and that clam chowder hits with the garlic bread. Then comes the main event with the whole lobster split lengthwise, two baked clams and a broiled or steamed shrimp. On the side you can choose fries, rice pilaf or baked potato. The fries were good, the clams and shrimp better and the lobster was great. The lobster is buttered and seasoned well. These are not jumbo lobster, but adequate for the price point. No one goes home hungry and the Crab Shanty goes easy on the wallet so you can return anytime. Service is good too. Four stars!

My sister had a Bloody Mary and Hennessy coladas, and I had an 1800 margarita--bartender definitely knows what they're doing! Only downside was the wait--about 45 minutes--but it was restaurant week on City Island, so expected. Honestly though, the "deal" wasn't much (just a free virgin piña colada or soft drink), so don't go expecting big specials. Overall, still my go-to every time. Great vibes, great food, and always worth it. I'll definitely be back!

At 6:30, it wasn't busy, probably because there was a snowstorm the night before? We'd ordered The Seafood broil and a side of New England Clam Chowder. Yes, they brought out a (very generic) salad for the table, garlic bread (good - best part of what was served, honestly), and a (mediocre) 'antipasto'. The Clam Chowder comes, its tepid and so thick that the spoon is standing up in the bowl. Tasted it ("Has this been sitting since yesterday?"), and hard pass. Sent it back. They apologized, came back in 7 minutes with replacement bowls "we made it fresh". In seven minutes? It was warmer and thinner, but the damage was already done to my palate and phyche. "No thank you" *not even for free Of course, the plates come as that soup arrives - there's no room on the table, anyway. The main course was as disappointing as everything else: If you like alot of seasoning, a ton of breadcrumbs and grease - by all means, order that seafood broil! The two and a half inch lobster tail was the highlight, the shrimp wasn't bad - but the scallops, clams and all the rest were absolutely smothered in breadcrumbs, old bay and grease. We were looking for a replacement for (the now closed) Artie's. This ain't it. I'll spend the time and money to drive to Jordan's Lobster Farm in Island Park when I want quality seafood, I guess. I wish I'd taken photos to accompany this review, but I kept trying to salvage the evening and enjoy the company of friends I hadn't seen in awhile. Overrated diner with valet parking. Do better.
