Buffalo chicken wrap
Christian D.

Noonans is a staple of the pearl river main street and its most recent renovations makes it a great spot to be at all day. At first glance looks like a small bar but they have a big indoor seating area and huge outdoor patio for game days and socializing with big groups. The food is great for the location and drinks are averagely priced . I went for the buffalo chicken wrap and hit the spot for lunch - chips were good also. Definitely recommended if you are going with a big 8+ group of people.

Penne al la vodka

My husband and I went with some family to T.F.Noona's. There was 5 of us and we were seated at a small round table and we had a hard time finding places to put our appetizers and everyone's plates because of how small the table was. The plates are also all square for a round table so it made it very awkward. Our main meals were brought out but they hadn't removed the plates from our appetizers so we had to hold the appetizer plates until someone came to grab them. My husband and I both ordered the penne a la vodka and it was one of the best I have ever had! And portion size is huge so come hungry! Our waitress didn't really come by our table much but luckily they leave a large glass bottle of water so we could refill our drinks. I'm not sure if we ordered other drinks if they would have been refilled or not. Ambiance was good. Dim lighting leaves it feeling cozy and intimate. I do like how the main bar and restaurant are separated so you're not getting all that noice. Overall it was a good visit and the food was amazing! I would define eat here again just for that penne!!

a crowd of people at a sports bar

It has been a while since I have been here as i moved away and WOW!!! This place is awesome, and the transformation of the backyard is stellar. Megan was out sweet bartender who makes an amazing Manhattan. I had a tasty brunch and came back for cocktails in the evening. The 18 tv's playing sports is crazy. I also met Larry, the owner, what a humble gentleman. Every time I come back to the area, I will be here. Thank for the drink sir.

Well- stopped here on a late Sunday afternoon before a basketball game at Dominican to get a dinner done. Wasn't the first choice, but went here and found a quick table on the side wall to grab. Waitress was right over. This was more of a watering hole than it was a sit down restaurant, yet it seemed that their menu was jam packed with things to eat and options from burgers and bar food to shepherds pie. The name was obviously Irish, but I didn't get an overwhelming sense of it in the bar. Ordered the ginormous pretzel and that was about as literal as it comes - the thing was as big as my head. Would have liked to have more cheese rather than the stoneground mustard they also brought with it. The pretzel was also ready hard and had either baked too long or was too hot - as the skin was hard and the inside was somewhat hollow. Cheese was good. For my meal I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich. I substituted onion rings for the fries - and those were very good. The sandwich was okay - multiple thin breast like cutlets makiing up the meat of the sandwich - and honestly - if you don't do spicy well? Ask for it mild. I'm a wuss and this was very spicy to me. Overall it was good. I guess.

COSMOS AND FRENCH FRIES. THE BEST COMBO

BEST EXPERIENCE!!! Our waitress (Fiona) was the most amazing girl and she deserves a raise just for her personality. The music, vibe, and atmosphere was high and mighty (keep in mind that this was at 3 pm). The drinks were 10/10! Will be recommending to everyone, and will be returning.

Really nice outside with its own bar but not dog friendly.

We had a reservation so did not wait long. It is a popular spot for brunch for sure. The staff are friendly and helpful. But it was so many people, took us some time to get the order. Nevertheless it is good quality food. The tea comes with whole set. You drink as much as you want. Egg Benedict has good runny yolks. Waffle is ok for me. Overall a solid spot for brunch. My experience at First Watch was a complete failure in both service and management…read more We were a party of 7, seated at 12:00 and ordered by 12:15. Most meals came out around 12:30, but one gluten-free order was completely mishandled. One person in our group did not receive their food with the rest of us. We waited over 20 minutes while everyone else ate, and by the time we were finishing, he had only been given a small side of eggs, his main dish (gluten-free French toast) still had not arrived. We asked staff multiple times, politely, and were consistently dismissed. No eye contact, no updates, no urgency. Our server was absent for long periods (10-15 minutes at a time), drinks were empty, and no one took responsibility for fixing the issue. By 1:10 PM, over an hour after being seated, the full order still hadn't come out. At that point, we had no choice but to ask for it to be wrapped to go, since the rest of us had already finished eating. The most concerning part was the manager's response. After calmly explaining the situation, there was no apology, no attempt to correct the experience, and no effort to take accountability. Saying "I'll talk to your server" and leaving it at that is not an acceptable response to a clear service breakdown. This wasn't just a delay, it was a complete lack of coordination, communication, and basic customer service. Mishandling a gluten-free order and then ignoring the table is unacceptable. The food itself was good, but the way this was handled reflects very poorly on the staff and management. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location based on this experience.

Breakfast is served until 11:30 and they have a a few egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches and French toast. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and liked the egg, potatoes (mixture of white and sweet, which was nice), and toast except the toast was hard pieces of baguette ($10). The omelette with potatoes was a pretty plate and good even though the cheese was initially forgotten. They also have sandwiches, salads, burgers and pizza on the menu, the latter of which is made in a brick oven. The pastries didn't look that fresh or enticing but we didn't order any so can't comment on the quality. There's indoor and outdoor seating and service was very nice. They have a shared parking lot with other businesses and more parking out back. Very close to Hungry hollow food coop so make a stop there if you have time!

Linguini B: Rapid Review Renditions - Hearth and Tap…read more All hearth no tap, but could I tap? Not the question. I'm taken, don't be mistaken uhhh. And you're just gonna have to live with that. Kinderkamack. A king of all roads with the notion and the motion... it's provided love potion to the entire county. Early summer days. Luncheon. My lungs are filled with the piney air. Iago is a traitor, but my silence speaks more ample than ever in these moments. Oh how I enjoy the camaraderie but do miss the days of which I could observe rather than participate. Something soothing, suave and suggestive in my serenity. You'll never know about it, Brutus. Anyways. All hearth, no tap. But I've popped a guinny or two here so that's a lie in the more literal term of tap in this scenario. Those who know, know that Hearth and Tap is more than a dive bar. It's a gastropub, of which I've enjoyed from time to time. The food is good. They have good burgers. They have good other stuff. The interior is rustic. It's Smokey from the drizzle and sizzle of cigar smoke. The upstairs rooms are pretty chill. The patio is poppin' with businessmen, businesswomen and locals. Not that I take notice. Nor do I notice them eyeing me down from clavicle to popsicle. Get framemogged son. The moon landing was real and there's nothing you can do about it, narc. Moonmogged. Would be happy to go again. Will be happy when I do. Happiness overwhelms me consistently and so this isn't saying much. But nonetheless Horatio, my lovely and loyal confidant, I never lead you astray. Hearth and Tap, and Kinderkamck Rd are Linguini approved.

The empanadas would have been very good if cooked a bit longer since they were a bit gummy inside. The shrimp ceviche was served in red sauce and was absent of a decent amount of shrimp. It was tasty but more of a salsa rather than a ceviche. The rib special lacked the promise of the flavors of the chipotle bbq sauce that was promised and described in the menu -- the pork lacked flavor. The chicken Milanese appeared to have been deep fried in a fryer rather than pan fried per tradition. This made the thin slices a bit tough and chewy which was unexpected. Disappointing that I didn't listen to my server who tried to steer me in a different direction as he advised. We haven't been wowed here the last three visits but will give it another shot in a few weeks to see if things have changed for the better. Listen to your servers, people!!

Finally! A place in my own town that I can rate 5 stars…read more Cooper's is a small pub located in Pearl River. There's street parking around the neighborhood that becomes free after 6. I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food. And ... No credit card fee!
