Thai salad with blackened salmon
Annette S.

A great lunch meal of Thai salad with blackened salmon. The salad was nicely chopped into bite size pieces with peanuts, and crispy wontons throughout and light dressing that had the slightest bit of heat. It was topped with a blackened salmon that was just a bit salty and cooked perfectly. The service was very good. I can't wait to try it again!

Two visits both just moderately ok in both food and staff, there is room for improvement. Hesitant for a third visit.

The teens loved the food selections, the beautiful tree (great for photo ops) and the lay out with space to dance. Camila was on hand to assist us during the party and was so helpful and attentive!! Such a beautiful, warm and intimate space. We will definitely use them again for future events.

(Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

Omelette was tasty, but nothing special. Presentation was super cute though! Inside was clean and cute. Not many tables, so there may be a wait depending on how busy it is when you come. They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

The prosciutto pizza was a standout--light, refreshing, and the crispy crust was perfect. Everyone at the table ordered a different pasta entree, and we were all impressed. The penne vodka sauce was creamy, flavorful, and rich without being too heavy. One small issue: we ordered a lot of appetizers, and no one came to clear the plates before our entrees arrived. With a smaller table, it got cramped and messy, and we had to ask someone to take the finished dishes. It felt a little sloppy and lack of service for an otherwise great experience. Especially since we had to ask someone other than our server for boxes and the check since she wasn't attentive. That said, the food definitely makes up for it. I'll absolutely be coming back!

Appetizer of fried zucchini sticks took about 20 minutes to arrive, and I had to ask for silverware. The mains of a turkey burger and the Amici burger were very good. Packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The chocolate cream pie was more of a chocolate mousse. It was a little pricey too. Almost $90.00 with tip. Nothing bad about the experience, but I don't know if I'd go back.

Always nice to visit a small, cozy, hometown Cafe with various egg dishes, pancakes, waffles,…read morequiche, sandwiches, soups, and pastries (scones are excellent). You'll have a leisurely experience. The food overall is pretty good, and portions are regular sized, not large. I enjoyed the loaded eggs with potatoes and the huevos rancheros. We didn't like the eggs with corned beef hash, which consisted of rather large ham chunks. The orange and plain scones were crumbly and yummy. Now that they offer online reservations, I'm more inclined to visit because otherwise you risk showing up and having to wait (or leaving) because it's a small space. There's outdoor and indoor seating.

So one person parks wrong and it messes up the whole row. There is the option to park in the cvs parking lot but it is frowned upon. You can dine inside our outside under their awning which is lovely in nice weather. We opted to sit inside. The tables on the side we sat were definitely tight and close together. The food was phenomenal. I order the brioche French toast with home fries and two eggs over easy. Happy because they use real maple syrup at this spot. My home fries I asked to be well done and crunchy but they came out a bit mushy but still edible. My friend ordered their weekly special of a pumpkin spice waffle and she said it was delicious. Their coffee was average. Nothing special. The only thing I couldn't figure out was my brioche French toast or the syrup tasted like amaretto which wasn't that big of an issue I would've just liked to know it was flavored. Service was good as it was crazy busy but we still felt well taken care of. I look forward to my next meal here.
