This is a prime example of "leadership is everything"; everyone (with one exception) at this store looks like they are being held against their will. Everything seems like a chore or inconvenience. My mobile order is often incorrect (or improperly packaged) and I have yet to have staff or a manager actually acknowledge the situation appropriately. I have voiced my disappointment more than once and without exaggeration, receiving a verbal response that amounts to a complete sentence has never happened. Star number 2 was awarded for a single interaction I had with a staff member (I wish I remembered her name) who was pleasant, helpful, and understanding of an issue through their mobile app. This is the only time I have been pleased with my experience at this location; I just go knowing to be prepared for disappointment. I generally love Panera (I have a 5-star posted for my previous regular store). Here, star #3 was awarded simply for the brand products, because this store consistently earns 2 stars at best. However, the breakfast soufflés are addicting and I will endure just because this location is most convenient for me. read more

I haven't been to Panera in a while and tried the Buffalo chicken baguette. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Excellent. Service was great with the manager checking on the customers and the cooks and servers getting my food out to me quick. The kiosks are convenient. There was a shortage on something I ordered, but the cashiers and manager were fast to let me know and were kind enough to allow me to make a substitution. I once loved Panera bread. Maybe this particular location turned me off or my tastebuds and my wallet just got wiser. Started off with the passion fruit and papaya infused iced green tea that I have had at other locations. Too syrup-y and a bit off. It was lunch time so we ordered two "you pick two," which is a combination of soup/salad, soup/sandwich, or salad/sandwich. Items selected: 1) Broccoli cheddar soup / tomato mozzarella flatbread 2) Classic cafe salad / BBQ chicken flatbread Panera makes a great broccoli cheddar soup. The portion size for "you pick two" is about half of what you would get if ordering the soup alone. In the past, I've had this as a bread bowl and it is a pretty filling meal. Definitely, a safe choice if trying Panera for the first time. FYI: the flatbreads are served folded, sandwich style. Not open faced like a pizza. The tomato mozzarella flatbread was disappointing. Too little filling. Overall taste of tomatoes and basil are good, but where is the cheese? There was a thin melted layer that only covered 1/4 of the flatbread. I was thinking of a caprese when I ordered this, so I was expecting nice size pieces of fresh mozzarella. Wrong! The cafe salad is just your basic house salad. No complaints here. Great choice for those that are conscious of calories. The BBQ chicken flatbread had much more filling, and the amount of chicken just right. $24 for a mediocre lunch. No thanks. There's a place down the street that I'm pretty sure I can get away with spending less than $18 for a similar "you pick two" meal. read more

I was quite impressed with their menu variety. You can mix and match what you get and their pastries for sure won me over. The place is clean and the employees are nice. However something about the coffee station. I have been there twice and both times they had no coffee in those pots and they weren't aware of it I had to let them know which one and they did not have extra pot ready to replace the empty one right away the had to go make it and that will take at least 15 min. Both times I had to get decaf or whatever the had there both days 10 am the pick Time that every one wants coffee. No one came to apologize. read more

Panera Bread wasn't my cup of tea in the past, but I've changed my mind. I'm usually not a salad kind of person but I really enjoy their salads here. I've been ordering the Spicy Thai Chicken Salad and it's always fresh and flavorful. I would either get a whole salad and ask for half of it to go or a half salad, half sandwich (the Steak & Arugula Sandwich). I suggest you ask for the dressing on the side for the salad because they can be a bit heavy handed. Service is good. Salad is good. Price is good. read more

Oh Panera, what has happened to you? First off, bakery items (two of them) didn't taste fresh, said it was this mornings but the chocolate croissant tasted at least a day old. It's probably because it wasn't a chocolate croissant but instead was a regular one which was cut in half and had chocolate spread inside. This is like an amateur version of chocolate croissant so disappointing. The cheese soufflé was sub standard and the last time over a year ago that I had it, it was pretty good. Generally poor baked goods which is not great for a bakery. Of course service is great, so at least that. There are other bakery options. read more

I just recently signed up a month or so ago for their Rewards Club & I've been pretty satisfied with their food quality & fast delivery until this morning when my delivery took just shy of an hour (longest ever) and my food was cold. It's not like it was cheap so I expect it to be hot. I am disappointed to say the least. I did reach out to the Manager which offered to take care of it for me by providing me with a refund, which she stated would take 3 or 4 days. I've never known any kind of refund to take that long. I am also a Manager and I have had to refund a customer before on the Credit Card machine which is instant. I wasn't looking for a refund, but she was nice to offer and I will wait patiently so that I can post a follow-up review more on the Good side. I had only been to Panera maybe one other time before I came here for lunch today. First time was a different location. I was not a huge fan. It just didn't do it for me. The same is true now. Ok, so the staff was friendly. So my food tasted fine. But my sandwich was really rather small. I ordered a pick 2 so that was a half a sandwich. I am aware of that. The size issue I have was with what came IN my sandwich. When it was brought to my table I could not see that there was anything at all between the bread. I had to open it up to see a very small portion of chicken and a sparse assortment of other toppings. There was plenty of flavor in what small amount of sandwich fixins were actually there. And the flavor was good. It just left me longing for more. The bowl of corn chowder was more satisfying. But a good bowl of soup is hardly enough to justify $13+ for half an already slim sandwich, the soup, and a small drink. I walked out still on the hungry side. read more

This Panera is hands down the worst Panera I've ever been to. The customer service is nonexistent. Sat in line for 15 minutes only to get both my orders incorrect and received the wrong food. Asked for Mac and cheese inside of the bread bowl and it was cold and not in a bread bowl. When asked if we could get the bread bowl they proceeded to put the cold max and cheese into the bread without heating it up. There are plenty of Panera's to go to so don't go here. read more

We have many choices in this Henderson area and unfortunately, I made the wrong decision going to this Pantera Bread. I tried the new spicy chicken sandwhich. When I received the sandwhich, the cook decided that it would be a good idea to put a cold right out of the fridge bun on my luke warm chicken patty. When they call out your name, they say it in a whisper, so I never knew that my food was ready. When I went up to the counter, I asked if my order was ready, probably about 5 minutes from placing my order. Turns out my order WAS ready and the guy with a slim build and piercings didn't even put my ticket on the bag, so I never knew if it was my bag or not. I'll stick to just getting charged lemonades. OK, I guess I should have gotten the hint that they didn't really want to make any food at that point. When we got the food home, only 1 tuna sandwich had any real tuna on it!!! I came here with a friend and my husband at 8:00pm. It was pretty dead but for whatever reason the line got long when we showed up. I notice the manager sitting at a table filling out paperwork and the cashier looked miserable. Even when the manager opened another register, she looked as enthusiastic as the other cashier. I order the chicken tortellini alfredo, my husband got a chicken bbq sandwich and my friend ordered a panini. Our food took longer to come out than normal but we figure it was because of the small rush. When I got my food, I noticed the chicken looked pink. Very pink. When I picked it up, it was cold. My husband took back the dish where they apologized and said they'd make me a new dish. Two minute pass and they drop my food off again. It's the same plate that I sent back. And yes the chicken was still pink and cold! I was starving so I ended up just taking the chicken out.
