Wow !!! An authentic Italian cafe just opened at Horizon Ridge Parkway/ S Eastern Ave. ( Smith's plaza ). A hidden gem! An amazing place! Delicious food that reminded me of home and cafés in Europe . Friendly and very welcoming atmosphere . We have met the owners and the staff and they are super friendly and extremely nice . The owners are from Italy and they understand hospitality and value customer service - priceless. The cafe is beautifully decorated and very cozy and inviting vibes. Plenty of outdoor seating - beautiful patio and comfortable indoor seating as well. The Authentic Italian coffee, sandwiches, salads and pastries. The best cappuccino, latte that I have ever had . Everything was fantastic, everything is baked fresh from scratch daily. Overall: Wonderfull authentic Italian cafe. Cozy vibe and truly one of the kind bakery. Yummy food! Definitely going back and definitely recommend to everyone.

We stumbled upon the soft opening of Torino and they welcomed us in with open arms. Both Roccos' are so sweet, the pistachio cream croissant was perfectly balanced, and the lattes are strong and delicious. It's a new, wonderful work space with outlets strung across almost every wall and even an outdoor sitting area with umbrellas to shade you from the desert sun. I'm so excited to come back here to support!

Decided to try a new coffee shop today, and noticed that Torino was opened. The ambiance was a 8/10 and the service was a 9/10. Very friendly staff. Though, after deciding what I wanted to drink and spending $20 on 2 iced lattes. We tried our lattes and were very disappointed in the flavors. The biscoff latte looked so good and was very excited to enjoy, but sadly it tasted like water. WATER?!!! No espresso flavoring, no cookie butter flavoring, and even not a hint of sweetness from the whipped cream. The vanilla latte was just vanilla with milk, no taste or hint of coffee either. Was very disappointed in our lattes and sadly don't think would be coming back.

5 stars for service. I am so excited that Rocco (x2) both owners named Rocco, have decided to open Torino Cafe, after we were left heartbroken at Baguette Cafe's departure. They are so warm & friendly, decorated beautifully & had the bathroom sparkling clean. I would like to come support this as much as I can. However, my dietary restriction requiring me to be gluten free is going to make this difficult. If they make a more robust salad, I can be here often. My friend got the insalata mista & it really was a pretty simple side salad basically. I got the mozzarella which was tasty, but I can't just go eat a ball of mozzarella weekly, lol. The coffee was beautiful but quite small for a hot latte (also cappuccino had no froth) & we did not taste the espresso flavor we are used to. It tasted more like a drip coffee with some milk. I'll be back for sure, to try other beverages & hope something gluten free with some protein on it appears on the menu in future. I am going to try the affogato next time. Presentation, service & dècor by this Italian family are top notch!

Visited this great shop yesterday! The food and pastries were delicious and the drinks were just as delectable, if you're looking for over sweetened dessert coffee this is not the place to go. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so nice and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Tried Underhyped Place Sunday?…read more TUPS Sandwiches, which apparently stands for "The Ultimate Pastas & Sandwiches" Sandwiches, is a local spot that seems to have made various top Yelp lists in recent years. I suppose it's time to get out and try more sandwiches now that my old local fave is officially dead and gone, and this was a good start. My friend was treating me to lunch and decided that wanted a sandwich, so TUPS came to mind as somewhere I'd been meaning to try for a while. It's not far from Henderson where we live, and it shares a sprawling plaza with a few other eateries and several non-food businesses. The inside is small, but they were still pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered at the counter and split two sandwiches. The #2 Lorenzo Pesto Chicken ($14.15) was somewhere between understated and balanced, with everything just really contributing hints of flavor: chicken, pesto, sundried tomato, provolone, and some veggies. The bread roll was soft and the chicken breast chunks were tender, so the whole thing ate super easily. The #11 Reuben ($14.15) was nice too. The pastrami isn't piled super high but is portioned well enough that you can't miss that you're eating pastrami. The marble rye, cheese, and thousand island are as expected. Maybe a tad bit more sauerkraut would've been good, but it's a prototypical pastrami Reuben. The gelato is fine, and they'll serve it after your sandwich if you're dining in. At least it eats much more like gelato than ice cream in how much air content (overrun) there is. They only had two flavors, so we tried one scoop of each. I mostly ate the coffee chip, which was like a mocha and was pretty intense. The stabilizer may have made the texture not so ideally creamy, but it worked. The spumoni was decent, but the pistachio component leaned more into almond and artificial green color than I've come to appreciate, and the chocolate component was more of a syrup added instead of a separate gelato flavor portion. I saw options for brewed tea and fresh lemonade, but they provided free cups of water (with ice, as requested) so I decided to save some money. Various prepackaged drinks are also available; I didn't see anything resembling a soda fountain. TUPS is a very good but not amazing deli sandwich spot with a decent dessert option. I wouldn't travel very far for it, but maybe I'll keep it in mind for lunch when I'm more on the middle / northwest area of Henderson.

Okay, let me tell you something. I just had one of those life-changing meals. I mean, everything…read morelooked good, but I really did not know what to expect. It smelled heavenly, but the real magic happened when I put the fork in the bunch! Smokin' Sammich Is one of those places that's tucked in the back of a shopping center. But I'm telling you right here and now it is absolutely worth the hunt! I had read about this place online, saw some Instagram posts about it and decided it was about time for me to try it for myself. This is not one of those quick little snack places, this is when you are seriously hungry and need something to keep the wolf from the door. Everything looked so amazing on the menu, I really didn't know what to do. I opted for the bowl with noodles and rice, brisket, I paid extra to have the side of grilled pork belly, and it also came with a couple of egg rolls. I jumped into the egg rolls first, they were so good. At first I was a little put off because they seem so small, but in this case big things come in small packages! Packages! And the dipping sauce for the rolls, top notch! I had to use a lot of restraint, because I wanted to dig right in, but I wanted to taste the meat on its own, as that is the mark of a really good barbecue. I'll just say this, I would put this meat up against anyone in a competition! The brisket was fall apart tender, had great bark on it, and had just the right amount of smoke. It was still moist, and so flavorful. The pork belly was absolutely amazing. Like the brisket had great bark on it but was tender, and juicy on the inside. All I could think about while I was eating it was how awesome it would be on a cheeseburger. Let's talk about the rice and noodles. Most bowls use rice and or noodles as an afterthought. More of just a base to lay the meat on. Not this place. The rice was some of the best I've ever had. Had just the right amount of stickiness, and definitely tasted like it was just fresh cooked then and there. Same thing with the noodles. Absolutely flavorful and a great side dish. Okay, let's talk sauce. I brought home some of the spicy barbecue, as I like a little bit of heat with my sauce. And this one delivers in spades! Super delicious. Had just the right amount of heat at the back of my throat, and really complimented the meat without overpowering it. You could put this on the pork belly, the brisket or an old shoe.. anything would taste good with this sauce! Since I had rice, I knew I was going to want some of their teriyaki sauce. Wow! Just wow! You can tell this is not out of a jug from Costco. This stuff is homemade right there! Much like the spicy barbecue sauce, this had a little bit of a surprise kick to it. Definitely not overpowering and was an absolute joy to put on the rice and the noodles! Bottom line? This is going to be my go-to sandwich place for the rest of my life. I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu at least once. If you were ever in the area and you didn't stop by to get something here, then shame on you!

There's limited parking in the front, but you'll see additional space on the side of the restaurant. Inside is clean and spacious with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is pretty chill and laid back, they were playing a genre mix of 80s and classic music, I was listening to "Have You Ever Seen The Rain," it's a nice song! Menu offers a great selection of smokin' sandwiches with choice of brisket, pastrami, pulled pork, sausage, corned beef, fried chicken breast, swai fried fish, tuna melt (albacore), side dish, as well as fantastic smokin' rice bowl options that comes with steamed rice, pancit noodles, lumpia, and choice of meat. I ordered a snack, chose potato salad and tater tots. The potato salad (small, $2.75) is pretty good! It has a nice consistency, cool and creamy, with fork tender potato chunks, so yummy! Tater tots ($3.50) are hot, fried golden crispy, and taste great with cold potato salad, it's delicious! There's a condiment bar where you can choose from a variety of toppings such as pepperoncini, pico de gallo, cherry peppers, yellow onions, banana peppers, pickle radish, green chile, sauerkraut, pealed carrots, jalapeños, pickled red onions, grilled onions and bell peppers, whole chili peppers, sliced pickles, and coleslaw. The sauce selections are great too! They offer chipotle mayo, mustard, mayo, spicy mayo, ketchup, regular bbq, spicy bbq, teriyaki sauce, sriracha, and tabasco sauce. For my topping, I added sliced pickles, sauerkraut, and spicy mustard on crispy tater tots, it's tasty and good! Service from Kneil is very kind, welcoming, courteous, accommodating, and friendly!
