My business partner and I had an outstanding lunch at Crepe Expectations, and this place truly lives up to its name. We both ordered The Rosarito ($11.00 insane value), and it was truly exceptional. The crepe was filled with flavorful fresh ground chorizo, fluffy scrambled eggs, rich guacamole, and melted jack cheese. It was perfectly balanced! I would say it was savory, slightly spicy, and incredibly satisfying with that beautiful golden, crispy exterior and soft interior. It came with a choice of soup or salad, and we went with the soup which was a warm, hearty, and well-seasoned broth that complemented the crepe perfectly. We also had the chance to try The Sonora as a second dish to share. It featured tender carne asada steak, roasted tomato salsa, fresh guacamole, and jack cheese wrapped in the same delicious crepe. The steak was juicy and well-seasoned, the salsa added a bright, smoky kick, and together it created a bold, Mexican-inspired flavor profile that was just as impressive as the Rosarito. What made the experience even better was the incredible service. Our server, Lili, was absolutely phenomenal . She had amazing customer service skills and she anticipated our every need with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and a smile that made us feel completely cared for. We also got to meet Elizabeth, our talented crêpe creator, who clearly pours passion and skill into every dish. Jenn and her husband have built something truly special here. The quality of the ingredients, the thoughtful flavors, and the welcoming atmosphere make Crepe Expectations stand out. Ate here on 1/22/26, we were there about 11am after a long flight. Brunch and crepe's sounded amazing to my 14yo and myself.... This place doesn't disappoint! They even had a GF option! They have both inside and outside sitting. I enjoy sitting inside with the warm months and they have a cozy radio station. But the crepes... I have had many over the years and by far, my favorites are the chicken chili verde and the monkey. I had a lovely experience here for my birthday. We were a group of 5 and sat on the nice, outdoor (dog-friendly) patio to dine. We ordered a bottle of champagne and the owner, Lou brought it out to us. He was really fun and nice and the personal touch was appreciated! They really appreciate their customers as their entire staff from start to finish are very kind and also check to make sure everything is good. As a party of two, we did one egg filled crepe and one berries crepe so we could enjoy both. The Marco Polo had a lot of sausage in it - no shortage of ingredients! It wasn't overly cheese stuffed which works GREAT for me. It comes with a side - we chose bananas. The Berries Delight crepe is filled with strawberries, blueberries, and we got the blackberries on the side because one out of two like them! The moment my friend and I stepped into the restaurant we felt very welcomed. The restaurant is very large with lots of seating inside and outside on the patio. It was a lovely day so we chose to sit outside. They even have heaters. We ordered three crepes as well as some hot tea and an iced coffee. We got the Big Lou's BBQ, The Rosarito and The Go Bananas Foster for dessert. All of the food was amazing. The Big Lou's BBQ came with a delicious slaw and I was very happy I chose that one. I got them to go, and by the time I got them home 10 minutes later, they were both mushy heaps in the corner of the to-go boxes. When you do carry out, it's to be expected for food to shift around. My gripe is the handful of seasoned, oiled lettuce that you are given on the side which is considered a "salad". There are absolutely no vegetables in it. No tomatoes, no cucumbers, nothing. Just cumin lettuce. Meh! The second gripe is, that it is primarily a Breakfast/Brunch spot with sweet and savory crepe options with coffee, tea etc. There are no types of potatoes offered as a side.
