I should have posted my 4 star review years ago. My only negative comment is that Bacon Nation closes at 2 PM. They should be open 24 7. I normally order to Boar-rito for breakfast and a side of their house special extra thick cut bacon. Service is above average. Try the eggs benedict. Note: They serve extra large cups of coffee. Bacon Nation is a great place to start your day. They are located at The D Hotel Downtown.

Came an hour before closing and was greeted quickly. Service is quick and the servers are well informed. The food was nothing crazy. It was average but greatly priced for Vegas. Can't beat a quick good priced meal. The environment is clean and quiet. Located on the 2nd floor of the D.

Bacon Nation, located in The D Hotel and Casino was definitely a great choice for a lite breakfast snack and very affordable The breakfast special was $9.99 that included Breakfast special, 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 1 sausage and sour dough toast. Now, if one wants to splurge, Steak and Eggs is one the menu for $25.50

This was our first time at this restaurant and the food was delicious. We had a party of 8, and since my husband and I end up coming to breakfast late, we end up dining alone. I had a plain omelette with mushroom, with home made potatoes and a Gingerale. I didn't eat the toast. My husband had sausage, eggs, bacon and I gave him my toast and pancake. It was alot of food, but since I don't eat breakfast meat, we couldn't share a plate. But, we're stuffed and we may dine again here while we are in Las Vegas. :-)

My family and I were visiting Vegas and we were staying in Fremont, so we decided to check out this place since one of our family members was staying at The D. The wait time wasn't too long, we came twice, The first morning it was only 5 of us, the food was great, service was okay, they never brought us extra napkins when twice. The second day we came as a group of 8 and the wait wasn't long either. This time around the food was still good, only thing was that my cousin order a sandwich with a specific type of bacon and they took 15-20 min to get it back to the table while the rest of the family was enjoying g their food and almost done. My cousin finally got her food but had to ask for a togo box since we were all done. They were very apologetic about it and even comp'd the meal which was nice of them.

When you see a place called "Bacon Nation" it's inherently intriguing to say the least. Ever since it opened i wanted to try it.. I went for breakfast so here it goes.... The concept of the café is definitely solid, and I have to say, it was clean and most stylish. However, the service left a lot to be desired. No really. Our water and drinks went unrefilled, and we weren't checked on at all. The only fast part of the service was them picking up the check from us (because it's money ) As for the breakfast itself, it was just okay--truly nothing to write home about. Socks were not blown off by this place AT ALL. I want to try their other options sometime, if it's the same level of mediocrity as this trip then i will consider that my last visit. Time will tell right? How do you say 'mediocre' in "Bacon-ese"?

Simple and easy breakfast! Located on the second floor of the D casino. Not very busy when we went, seated quickly and ordered right away!

The service was good it wasn't too crowded when I went and I got my food fast. The food was good however it was a little greasy for my taste and the cheese was very artificial. Good place if you need a quick convenience breakfast

Located in the D hotel on Fremont street second floor in casino area. This was our second time here over 2 trips. If you like thick bacon this is your stop. Waitress was very friendly & doing her best. With little supporting help. Food was average same as the Bloody Marys. Wasn't very busy during this visit, booths & tables available. Causal atmosphere inside.

Yeah we went here since we stayed at the D. Convenient but not worth it. The place is on the second floor in the back but close to the elevators. The hostess sat us at a table and I saw a booth open and asked if we could move. She was busy and we took the stuff over there and when she finally saw us, she said that area was closed. She then said she would let us sit there. Kind of weird since there were people next to us in the other booths. After that it seemed like they avoided us. We didn't get the waitress till a long time later. As if she punished us for sitting where we wanted. I wasn't impressed with the name of the restaurant since I didn't even see that many bacon items on the menu. Nothing special. I got the omelet combo since it seemed to be the best price to get what I wanted. It was 3 eggs instead of 2 with the eggs any style. I wanted French toast which I had to order separate. The omelet was good and so was the French Toast. When she brought out or orders they were wrong. Plus she gave my friend my order since he had an omelet to. She forgot to have his bacon on the side and she had to get some more. Our other friend had a salad and it was just ok. Nothing special just like all the food here. I think this place is nothing to write home about except it's short comings.

Nice place just sitting down hope the bacon is good. My wife's gonna have an omelette. I'm gonna do a bacon bagel. Hope it's good.

Had such a great brunch experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The eggs benedict was perfectly cooked with rich, creamy hollandaise, and the pancakes were light and fluffy with just the right touch of sweetness. Everything came out hot and delicious, and the drinks paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and eat before we continue our Vegas fun !

Since this was my one and only chance (I think) to try this spot, me and a friend decided to split our sandwiches to try more than just one. We settled on L'INFERNO and the LA DISTRICT. The former has: porchetta, nduja, spicy eggplant, spicy zucchini, arugula -- while the latter has pancetta, pecorino cream, sun dried tomato, arugula. I had to hop on a plane for a few hours, so I wanted to pack the sandwiches for a later time -- but I had to try them FRESH. Oh boy. These sandwiches were an absolute EXPERIENCE -- the bread (which is schiacciata) was warm, pillowy, with the most amazing crust. The porchetta on the L'INFERNO was so tender and full of flavor paired with the nduja. The LA DISTRICT was a nice calm contrast, instead of strong flavors, all the elements worked as one -- and that pecorino cream was an absolute masterpiece. After I arrived, the line behind me quietly filled up quickly (it was the 10:35 AM)! As with most locations, come early if you don't want to wait. I did eat the rest of the sandwiches about 3 hrs. later but it got duller the longer it sat (as expected). It was still good though! I repeat: I was a bit skeptical because of the virality of this slot, but at lease at the UNCOMMONS, location, the hype is indeed real. Place was immaculate, service was as expected, and sandwiches were knocked out of the park!

You'd think a place this modest would be shoveling out the basics and it'd be a sandwich commensurate to the size. But it couldn't possibly surprise you more with what it offers. Every week, there are weekly creations with names as creative as their tastes. You may experience a little sticker shock with the price, but that concern is quickly abated when you're delivered a sandwich proportionate to the size of your head heaped to the sky with whatever ingredients are listed in their creation. For the peckish eater, you've bought yourself lunch AND dinner. But be warned: I've gone in many a time with that intention, and just can't resist devouring the fresh and flavorful sandwich--much to the chagrin of my waistline. Beyond the freshness and flavors and proportions of the food are some of the most friendly and expeditious chefs and managers within the place. They have memories like steel traps, noticing when you haven't been there for a while, if your typical lunch compatriot is missing, or if you order the same thing consistently, every time. They'll deliver your food to their outdoor area; they'll remember who ordered what, & that's with baskets challenged to their structural integrity with the biggest meals you've ever seen added to them. There are few places remaining with the originality and work ethic to create fresh focaccia, hoagies, or whatever bread necessary for their meatballs, porchetta or freshly sliced prosciutto. Do you see such a variety of bell peppers plus arugula and fresh parsley combined between such juicy tomatoes and mozzarella? Not at a casual dining joint. Panino's does that in spades!
