The service was horrible once we entered the cafe. We were not greeted, but instead was welcomed by a "we'll be right with you." Once we were seated, the bus person wearing a red shirt, who was of Latinx descent was the only one who said hello and ask how I was doing. She was very gracious in offering us our drinks while we waited for a waiter. Our waiter (an older white male) approached our table, but didn't say hello, but instead looked at me and said "what can I get for you?" We did observe that the waiter had preference to checking in on other tables that came after us with more a welcoming manner versus how he treated us. Ordered my food which was quite a disappointment considering how expensive it was. The waiter never checked in on us the whole time we were there. The only time he stopped by was to give us our check. The food was cold like the service. The only thing we appreciated was the hot coffee and the welcoming of the bus person who led us to our table. The chicken tenders were simple, boring, did the job but forgettable. The burger was appealing in presentation but I wish the burger was seasoned, some crack black pepper and garlic salt would of saved this review along with the fries that looked like they sat for awhile with little to remnants of salt. Twas very late Saturday night as we were trying to find something to eat and this was our only option really without ubering somewhere. They have a good bit of seating and the waitresses are nice. They do not split the check, they bring it as 1 receipt and a maximum of splitting it 3 ways. This was very inconvenient when we had 6-7 people eating. I ended up picking up the entire bill and it was only $145 for 6-7 meals, so that I couldn't complain about whatsoever. The next day though the same crew went for breakfast and it was 7 meals that time, and the bill was $200. Not sure how breakfast was more expensive but it was. Not saying this place was bad, but it was the worst meal I've eaten in 6 days in Las Vegas. The burger just wasn't good, nothing about it was worth talking about. They had very small stringy onion rings on it which I would have thought I loved, but just kinda left me disappointed. We went on a Wednesday morning/early lunch. Pricey and decent food. Steak and eggs: Steak was dry and over cooked-we ordered medium rare. The Strat-Benny, eggs Benedict was so bad my husband took one bite and said he didn't want to eat anymore. He said the toast wasn't toasted and the meat they used (pastrami?) was way too salty and didn't go well as part of the dish. We let them know and They replaced with a burger. The burger was the best option. We knew the burger would be a hit because my son ordered one and loved it. I had scrambled eggs and potatoes. I agree, the toast was not toasted. It was warm bread. Ended up eating here since we made the mistake of not reserving a spot at the rotating "Top of the World" restaurant in Stratosphere. Eating here was the second mistake we made. Food took a long time to arrive. The fried noodles were disappointing - super thin and not crispy. Chicken portions were plenty, but short in flavor. The other entrees came with dry rice and no curry whatsoever. NOT a great way to start the day in Vegas. read more

I had ran the LV Rock 'n' Roll marathon and was craving a nice hot breakfast after my run. I stayed at the STRAT and had eyeballed this place to eat at during my weekend stay because it looked really nice from the outside. Unfortunately my experience here was not up to par. The prices didn't bother me because food is expensive anywhere in Las Vegas. But service was nonexistent. I had to flag down a server to take my order after waiting 15 minutes. Someone else brought my food out and no one ever returned to refill my coffee or check on me. A rare moment that I don't leave a tip. What a disappointing way to end my trip. Thus place is so convenient if you are staying at the Strat. It was my 2nd visit there. The first time, was more like a dinner time visit, and the 2nd time, was for breakfast. I enjoyed all my food, but the highlight of the visit was listening to 2 workers argue. A middle aged lady and a senior aged lady. They were arguing about the senior worker, constantly walking to the back, where the middle aged working was working. I guess she didn't like her double g that, and asked her to stay in the front. The senior work held her own and was talking back to her, because the other worker was disrespectful, especially talking to a senior lady like that. Now back to my good selections....the omelette was great and the potatoes were seasoned nicely and cooked just right. Grilled cheese was tasty and the fried rice was yummy. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Strat Cafe, but again if you're staying at the resort or happen to be nearby, it's a good option. Food gets the job done and is very tasty. I got served with old chicken and some soggy fries. Did my fries get cooked in dirty oil? I really like the Stratosphere. It's one of my hang outs upstairs at the look out. And I enjoy watching the shows here. It really breaks my heart writing this. This place has so much potential to blow competitors away. Instead of this review I can easily just write my complaint to upstairs. I'm not going to go there because they will not care. My belief is that this company does not care for their people or the customers. Just look at the 5 Star reviews on their best days. Not any of them the company responds back saying thanks. So that kind of tells us a little something there. The price? Its overpriced!! For the un quality food they are serving? The Strats just open another restaurant called Chi Asian Kitchen, Now that place is awesome. The price is tab up there on quality food. But the Cafe is almost the same price range? I can tell some of the staff are not happy there. I read the body language and I watched one staff that got goofed out because he did not get a tip. My fiancé ordered the Braised Beef Sandwich and I ordered their Turkey Club Sandwich. We both shared a Hummus Platter. Their food tasted ok, average at best. What really made the stars go down on this review though was the price of our food and drinks. Also, our server neglected to check up on us and our drinks and everything while we were there. He took our order and then brought our food and then we didn't see him after that. We had to ask a random staff to get our tab ticket for us. Everything at the STRAT Cafe was super expensive.
