Stopped by Pizza Rock after the Niners vs. Raiders game and it was a great choice. We tried the Detroit style pizza, grabbed the pie of the day, which was a NY style pizza, and also ordered the wings. Everything was really good, and the portions were bigger than we expected. Between the five of us, we ended up completely full. The staff was also great and took good care of us. Definitely a good spot to stop by after a game. We'll definitely be back!
Still the dopest pizza by the pie place around in downtown!! This time we had one thick pie and one thin pie. Sorry, I can't remember what they're called. But they were hella good. The thick one took like 30min though, so not sure if that's bad service or it just take a long time for a thick pie. It was not busy at 2pm, so that's not it! So I have to take off a star for that. It has a cool pizza place vibe with tv's (some of them worn out as heck) and a counter where you can buy by the slice.
Have not been to Pizza Rock in a long time, not sure why not because the selection of pizza's. The place still has the same ambiance and beauty. Our server was Aaron and he was pretty cool and helpful. He explained the difference in the style of pizzas which led us to The Grandma's Butcher. We will come back to that. We started with the Zucchini Fries and the Italian Chopped Salad. The zucchini fries were good but the salad was AMAZING! Now to the pizza. Grandma style pizzas crust is about half the size of a Detroit style but crunchier. All the toppings on the grandma made this one of the best tasting pizzas I have ever had. I will definitely go back and get a grandma style pizza. It really was that good.
Great Pizza on Fremont Street! Pizza Rock on Fremont Street is definitely worth checking out! I love that you can order pizza by the slice, and the portions are huge. The pizza was delicious, but the crust was definitely my favorite crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The ambience and overall vibe inside were really nice and lively. They also have a great patio where you can sit outside and enjoy your pizza while taking in the Fremont Street atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect spot for a quick slice or a full meal. Definitely recommend stopping by when you're in Vegas!
We finally found the best pizza in Las Vegas after extensive search of all the pizza joints. We finally settled on pizza rock the third street. They have an assortment of sizes and the large the big one is really big! We've ordered online and over the phone several times and we've been able to get the pizza exactly the way we like it. They offer thick crust, thin crust, and an assortment of toppings.. Each time the service was great. The pizza was hot crispy and the toppings were on point when we were going down there to pick up the pizza we stepped inside and the place was buzzing. The staff was very nice although we didn't meet the people that made the pizza the people at the counter were very nice. Got our pizza right to us and got us off the door. I have not had a chance to dine in yet but at some point, I look forward to doing that as well! Once again, I'd highly recommend Pizza rock if you're in Las vegas and you're looking for a great pizza.
Checking out Pizza Rock in Downtown Las Vegas. Ordered a New York-style pizza to share between four people. It is 16 inches and loaded with a ton of toppings. We got the East Coast one that won a prize. Overall there were a few that won prizes and it was shown with a little trophy icon. The inside even has a huge truck as well. The pizza didn't take long and it was delicious! I would come back just to try the other flavors!
This was a different concept for a pizza place! Instead of focusing on one kind of pizza like most places, Pizza Rock offers many different crusts and cook times/temps. You can get anywhere from Neapolitan to New York style, Detroit Style, thin crust, even "Grandma style". Our server gave us a little overview of the menu options to help us understand the difference between the types of pizza better, which I thought was nice. We ordered the calamari and the Cal Italian pizza. We were able to order the calamari half regular/half Calabrese so it had a tiny bit of spice to it. Portion was big. Calamari was nothing special, but it was still pretty good. The Cal Italian was a great pizza! Even though it was a sauceless pizza (and I normally like a saucy pizza), I really enjoyed it a lot. The many different cheese types from Asiago to Gorgonzola and parmigiano-reggiano, coupled with the sweetness of the fig and balsamic glaze and the saltiness of the prosciutto, came together so nicely. And the crust was nice and crisp, no floppiness to it which I prefer. Prices were also reasonable and the vibe and decor of the restaurant was cool. This is a place I may very well revisit on a future Vegas trip.
Love Pizza Rock! The service is great, ambiance is lively, and food is amazing! Drinks are also well made with lots of options to choose from. They have many different pizzas to choose from as well as salads, appetizers, and pasta dishes. I personally like the calamari, and the Italian chop salad. It is delicious! My husbands go to pizza is the Butcher. He needs his proteins and that is an all meat that is on point! If you're considering going here, do it! Tip: make a reservation if you want to minimize your wait time.

We also had the Detroit pizza that was loaded with all the meats on a pillowy base 8/10. Minua for taking like 40min to get the pizza.
This pizza spot is located in near the end side of Fremont It has outdoor and indoor seating It's open daily and hours are: - Sun-Thurs - 11:30am-10pm - Fri & Sat - 11:30-12pm Service was friendly and welcoming Menu had a good variety of pizzas and countless options to choose from that it was hard deciding which one to order! I got the Detroit Pepperoni ($9.75 - slice) and the portion was pretty big! It had lots of pepperoni with thick marinara sauce and plenty of cheese! The pizza was very greasy but tasted good! It was packed with flavor but a bit too salty. The crust wasn't too thick and the breading was very fresh and crispy. However, I was expecting it to be the best pizza I ever had since it's award winning but even though I thought it was good, I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had unfortunately.
A bit pricey, but the best Detroit style pizza I've ever had! If you are staying downtown and can walk there it's a must have regardless of the price. Will definitely go back on my next visit!
Family in town and hubby always loves to bring guests to Pizza Rock. And it was a hit. Our waitress was so attentive and the pizza was delicious! And hats off to the Peroni Fantastic Reps! What an amazing lager that pairs great with Pizza ! Peroni is a crisp, refreshing Italian pale lager originating from Rome in 1846. Hubby said this will be his drink of choice with his pizza now .
We visited on Monday, for lunch, with a party of two and it was a very nice experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away in a half booth. The waiter stopped by and took drink orders, their margaritas are tall and tasty. We started with Calamari, it was well prepared and the portion was huge. We then went with a Detroit Style pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms and hot peppers. It was OUTSTANDING, probably the best pizza we ever had. It was also way too big for two people, we ended up giving the leftovers to the table next to us. The service was excellent. Aaron was friendly, prompt and professional. Give him a raise! Overall, a great place for pizza.

So some friends came into town and we were doing a little bit of gambling downtown and wanted to walk around and check out the sights on a Saturday night. We were hungry, and didn't want to spend a million dollars or wait in line at it a fancier place, so we decided to hit up Pizza Rock. This was my first time going into Pizza Rock, I like the fact that you can walk up to the counter, grab a slice and head out the door or go in sit down, order a pizza, a beer and hang out. One thing you'll notice when you first walk in is they have a full size semi truck in the building. Great decoration and definitely is a conversation point. We decide to sit at the bar with our pizzas. I had the caliente.... Was not expecting it to be as spicy as it was, but it was a darn good pizza. Washed it down with a nice beer from the bar and it was the perfect meal for a Saturday night. Was it the best pizza I ever had? No, it wasn't. Was it the worst pizza that I've ever had in my life? No, it wasn't. But I will say it was a good pizza and was the perfect thing I was looking for when we were walking around Fremont Street. Bottom line? There are so many options for pizza in Las Vegas and 99% of them are absolutely awesome. This was a great pizza place with a great vibe. Definitely something to check out. read more

Great Las Vegas pizza restaurant off the strip in the downtown Fremont area near the Mob Museum. It will be worth the cab ride. The selection of pizzas might be overwhelming but whichever way you decide, it will be delicious. On this last trip we had a classic NY style pepperoni and a Detroit style, both were incredible. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Everything was delicious! We tried all the appetizers (at least 4), and they were done to tasty perfection! We thought we were going to be too full for pizza but ordered a small one anyway and devoured that as well! I would never guess a pizza place could do greens beans and fried artichokes so well. Our friends eat mostly vegetarian/vegan and there were lots of options. The one option I didn't not see was a veggie pizza but it's gotta be there...right? We wanted to go back the next day. On a side note...we also saw a Pizza Rock station at the Sphere while watching the Wizard of Oz. read more

This is some really solid thin crust pizza with a variety of unique toppings. I got the purple haze (love the name) and enjoyed the immersion of potato and bacon with cheesy goodness. My husband equally delighted in his meaty slice combination slice too. Both slices were big and made a good lunch. We also had the fried artichokes which were beautifully crispy on the outside and tender inside. Service was great at the bar as well! read more

Seated immediately. Server took our drink orders immediately, upon her return with our drinks she took our food orders. Wait wasn't too long considering we included a pizza with our order. Love that the garlic bread is served with marinara. The sauce for the spaghetti and meatballs is rich, generous amount. Great service. read more

Some of the BEST pizza I've ever had--hands down. I'll never go to Vegas again without making a stop at Pizza Rock. The classic pepperoni pizza absolutely hit the spot, and our friend with a gluten allergy is obsessed with their gluten-free crust. The menu has endless options, and the perfectly seasoned truffle fries came out quickly and were the perfect way to start. read more

Went here for my mother in law's birthday dinner with the family and it was great!! We made reservations and they had everything ready to go when we got there. Our server was a spitfire and we all loved her! Food was delicious and we all lost it when one of our uncles freaked out after he looked to the side and saw the truck built inside the restaurant. (He thought it was real and going to move! LoL) overall great experience and would definitely recommend! read more

The vibe is rock-and-roll eclectic, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Motorhead and it was fantastic. A deep dish with quality ingredients. Came here because we had been searching for a great pizza place in Vegas and Pizza Rock is often mentioned as the top pizza place in Vegas. We came to the downtown one and parked in a nearby lot. They have a takeout area, the slices are quite expensive $7-8/slice and the menu is sometimes different from what they serve in the restaurant. I made a reservation via Google. That is recommended if you want to come during a busy time. We were very confused by the menu, there are literally every kind of pizza you can imagine. On top of that, our server was not very good at explaining or provide recommendations. We ended up getting the Romana two pizza since they come with 3 flavors. It says that it feeds up to 5, that is a severe overstatement. My husband who eats a lot can probably finish it if he was really hungry. You cannot select flavors for the romano pizza. We liked the ricotta flavor the most. At this point, we were not that impressed and this is quite far for us so we also got some slices to make sure we gave Pizza Rock a good try before we decide to never come back again. I got the grandma of the day, a calabrian chili one to go. The grandma pizza dough was not particularly special, but it has honey. I liked the Calabrian chili one, it had a slightly crispy crust, the toppings were delicious, but I could not find it on the menu so that was annoying... I think it was one of the takeout counter special, and it was an american style pizza. Anyway, confusing experience, not sure if I would come back. read more
Great spot for a quick bite! There was a 40-45 minute on a busy Saturday night if you wanted to dine in. We opted for slices instead. Ordering was fast and easy. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly folks let us share a table with them. We normally order from a local Slice House location in the Bay Area and this is very comparable taste wise. read more
Let me start by saying Courtney was a great bartender. She was charming. We came for Happy Hour. We had the $5 PBR's and they aren't as good as I remember. Oh well. We then shared the garlic bread and a Happy Hour chicken bacon ranch pizza. While the garlic bread was legit, the pizza was light on toppings. Stopped in and sampled a couple pizzas that had different crusts, style and toppings. We had the Grandmas Butcher that was full of meat and flavors. The crust was the perfect snap and crunch. I felt this pizza was superb and a must try. I loved the arugula and medley of toppings. The Cal Italia was unique and different. The thin crust was perfect but flavors just did not do it for me. Probably not their fault but balsamic vinegar is usually not one of my faves. read more
