We visited on a Thursday afternoon for the first time. Who knew great and well priced tiki drinks paired so well with Detroit style pizza?! I was over the moon with my vegan cheese and sausage pizza, and hubs is happy to have meaty cheesy pizza leftovers and craft beers to pair with. The bartender was fabulous, guiding me to the perfect gin drink. Definitely a dive bar, free parking in front, super casual, dark and funky. Now we are looking forward to trying their Henderson sister location!

Stopped by before seeing a show to get a quick bite and try a couple tiki drinks during happy hour. The bar is lowkey with tiki inspired decor . The interior has plenty of bar and booth seating, good for groups. Sat at the bar and ordered a couple specialty drinks and an order of garlic bread. The garlic bread was spicy but good , so expect a little kick . The drinks were strong and well priced. I ordered the painkiller. It was strong but had a good flavor. They also have a pizza menu. I heard the pizza is really good, and watched multiple just come for the pizza. Good service, good ambiance, good people. Shared parking lot out front

I had heard about the pizza as many have and on a quest to taste it for myself, I headed here! On a mid-day weekday, I went at a time that wasn't busy so there were plenty of seats right at the bar. It's quite dark inside the bar, but then your eyes adjust and you enjoy the decorative lights. The bartender was really friendly and greeted us right away with waters and then took our drink order. As a snack - we ordered one Traditional pizza. When the pizza came out, it was temperature hot and the sauce on top was really good - adds to each bite that you take. Overall, the flavors were very good and the crust to topping ratio was good. The crust also had a good bite/crisp on it. There's always the poll of who has the best pizza. I think you can't compare all pizzas and it's best segmented into the type of pizza. As for Detroit style, this pizza was a very solid choice. It comes out hot and fresh and is a shareable size for two.

I've had a few people tell me about Red Dwarf and the amazing pizza. When I happened to be staying down the street, I knew it was meant to be. I up with a friend and decided to sit in a booth. The waitress greeted us after a few minutes. We order Mai tais while we looked over the menu and chatted. We finally settled on a simple pepperoni pizza. The mai tais were great! The pizza was a perfect level of crunch crust and melty cheese. It felt as if the sauce was a perfect amount as well. Not drowning in it, but not tasting it at all. I will say this place gets a little loud! We struggled to hear each other across the table. I'll definitely be back, just with the intentions of heavy conversing.

We absolutely love this place, although getting a seat is challenging and it can get a bit LOUD. But...the pizza is so damn good that I do t care if I have to stand or take it to go. Every time I go to Vegas, we eat here. Also, the draft beer menu changes all the time. This time they had an incredible beer called cursed apple of eternal darkness by zombie beers. Omg!!!!!! So good! Too bad I can't get it in Los Angeles or Long Beach!!!!

The pizza is just too good - right now this is my fave pizza spot in LV! This spot is a hidden gem, on the other (east) side of the strip, inside a super unassuming divey bar. So we heard about the pizza, so we ordered the Groovy Gravy Train (like a breakfast pizza, and wow I wasn't expecting much, but it was breakfast heaven), White Pie (so yum, if you like white pizza, you'll def like this one), and the Signature Detroit Style (classic, and my fave of the three). Each is ~$20, comes with 4 big squares, and 5 of us barely finished all 3 pizzas. We also ordered beer and drinks, but I must say $4 for Dwarf's Piss is amazing - it's a pretty light and crisp draft, and easy to drink. I will come back. Oh also, the service here is awesome, so friendly, warm and homey vibes.

Me and my man went to Vegas to hit up most of the Tiki Bars in Las Vegas, because nowdays that's my thing. I don't gamble. I don't smoke. I cuss occasionally and speed sometimes, because I need excitement in my life. Cussing and speeding can only go so far. I needed a real DIVE BAR, which is what it is. A tiki bar disguised as a Dive Bar and vice versa. Not sure if the Dive or the Tiki came first. I was looking forward to some great libations. LIBATIONS that I ordered: I Just Blue Myself ($10)- sweet goodness with maybe a tingle of alcohol. I think I drank the whole thing down in 5 minutes, it was tasty. Buzz rating 1/5. Dole Whip ($12) - with vodka or rum choice. I got the vodka because this looked sweet, and rum is already a sweet thing, because Diabetes. It was SUPER sweet. I let it melt and mate with the vodka, that was better. Buzz rating 1/5. Hub man ordered canned beer (smart dude): Lagunitas IPA for $6 a can. FOOD: Everyone is raving, stark raving mad about the Detroit-styled pizza. My man loved it. I liked it. Very very salty, but maybe I can blame the sweet a$$ drinks screwing up my taste buds. Pizzas were $19 a piece. They were on the medium-small size, in a rectangular pan with a thick crust. ENTERTAINMENT: We got kicked off our table because we were told by the band members coming in that it was the "merch table". No problem. We wanted to see the band play. They warmed up and teased up, stopped and didn't warm up anymore. We left SERVICE: Pretty good and attentive. But it got busy as the night wore on. We were there on a Friday at around 930 PM. NOISE LEVEL: WHAT DID YOU SAY? I CAN"T HEAR YOU!!!! Woman next to me was so loud. Also, when she got off the bench, I sunk down and the end of the bench collapsed with me on the end. FUN TIMES. PARKING: Free, dark, sketchy parking lot. You're welcome.

Been on my list to try. Love me some Detroit style pizza and this place really knocks it out of the box. They do well with dough, sauce and melding of all the flavors. Big fan and would love to try their white sauce pie. Next time....

I can't say our server felt like she appreciated us and our questions. When we asked about beers she just kinda pointed at the wall where they are all chalked. I totally get they change a lot and I'm sure you get a ton of tourists so maybe it's just hard but I felt like my business was making her frustrated every time I had a question or needed attention. My peach sour was really really good. I wish it was something I could buy back home. 10/10 recommend. Now...this pizza has a place, it's just not in my mouth. While I grew up in Chicago I won't say I love deep dish either so it's not that. I just felt like it was glorified cheesy garlic bread. I do however like the cheese to the crust because I sure never eat the crust so this was helpful. The meatsa was 100% better than the white pie. The white pie had no flavor besides Alfredo. My friend got wings and ordered them mild and said even the mild wasn't as mild as he hoped. I didn't try them but fair warning they smelled spicy, and I do like spicy. He did say the flavor was ok though, just not as mild as he wanted.

Hub has been begging me to try this pizza and I am a serious pizza snob...I like a certain type of pizza and don't even consider ordering from a chain or having a frozen hockey puck sitting my freezer. Enter Red Dwarf. As we sat down I loved the vibe..dark tiki room and extra extra bonus...no smoking establishment. They have a slew of draft beer to choose from..and a cool looking alcoholic ginger beer I would be willing to try sooner than later if the alcohol content wasn't 10 percent...ha ha...I ordered the pizza port IPA local beer and hub got a lager from a local brewery...they were both so cold and delicious. We decided to split the pepperoni Detroit style 1/4 sheet pizza...4 slices...perfect amount for us. Pizza came and looked AMAZING...I usually don't lean into Detroit style, but this pizza is what my friend labeled "Slammin'". This pizza is amazing...I cannot believe it took this long to get here...I will bring my friends here now and will be back many times, as I often stay by or near the strip and it is very easy to get to, even with Maryland parkway doing a lot of construction.

A place like this is why I wish I lived in Las Vegas so I could become a regular (if they'll have me). Detroit style pizza, awesome tap list, punk pirate meets tiki, great service - what more could you want? The drink menu is a great compilation of tiki classics and new tiki twists (check out their seasonal cocktail menu), plenty of options for any drink preference. The location is easy to get to, about a 8 minute drive from the strip. Great bar seating with surrounding booths and high tops. Colorfully decorated with skeletons and tiki aesthetics. Can't wait to visit again!

Here's some aesthetically pleasing trashed furniture.

I can't say I was overly impressed with this establishment. When you first walk in, you can't see anything because it is pitch black in there which after having my eyes adjusted, I was actually pretty thankful it was dark because I don't think I would want to see what it looks like all lit up. It has a black light tiki bar aesthetic to it. They're about four booths and a bunch of high top tables and a wonky shaped bar in the middle and there's a whole section that you can't use because their beer lines are dripping all over it and there's condensation and water and a combination of liquid that is just unappetizing and the bartenders never bother to wipe it up. I was there for over two hours. I asked for a Malibu pineapple and they don't have Malibu rum so I end up with some other kind of coconut rum and the drink was not terrific. I didn't finish it and it certainly wasn't worth asking to have it redone. My friend and I both got pizzas and I thought my pizza was fine. I got one with light sauce and my friend said that hers was incredibly salty. This was my first time here and she's been here before she recommended the place. I really only had one big slice of the pizza. I have plenty of leftovers and I finally understood what she was talking about two of the slices were incredibly salty so I don't know if there was a clump of salt in the sauce or what was going on, but it was very unpleasant and I could not eat half of the pizza. If it hadn't been for the salt factory, the pizza would've been really good. I did ask for change I needed someone and I asked for 10 ones and the bartender told me that they couldn't give me change or something for 10 and I asked for five and he literally rolled his eyes right at me and very begrudgingly gave me five ones, but this is a bar. I know a lot of people probably pay with Credit cards but you should have cash on hand or in a safe in the back. It shouldn't be that ones are a hot commodity and I shouldn't be getting attitude for it. It was obviously such a hardship for this bartender to give me the ones that I decided I would tip him really well since he went so far out of his way for me ***eyeroll***. I don't care how great Pizza is. I'll never go back there because of how rude the bartender was about just simply getting change.

My friend told me the last time he went to Vegas, he had some of the best Detroit style pizza he ever tried. My friend knows food, so I took his word for it and was I glad I did. My friend got whatever the supreme meat lovers pizza was called and I had two slices of that. The sauce has a robust flavor to it and just like an authentic Detroit style pizza, it was layered on top of the cheese. The ingredients each brought out a sweet and succulent flavor in each bite. The crust just had so much flavor to it as well and was airy and what you would hope to get from a high quality pizza. The pepperoni had all of the same traits, but with what you would want from pepperoni. The service was good because you could just sit at the bar and order directly from the bartender and the ambiance was that of a tiki bar. I wonder if I came here before because the tiki accessories were quite familiar, but if I did, I didn't try their food the last time I came. This is definitely a great place to get Detroit style pizza though!

Guy who checked our IDs let us know this place is like walking into a Midwestern basement and that they serve beers only. I thought this was so helpful because imagine walking in and thinking they served cocktails only to realize it was beer only. When we walked in it did look like you walked into a basement. Lol The place is very retro and I loved the beer cans on the wall. They have a photo booth located in the back right corner for $5 for 2 strips. Honestly, this place was cool but only downside was I felt like it had dead air. I was sweating in there, but the vibe did overpower my only complaint. Service was good. We sat at the bar and were helped right away. I looked through their menu and settled on a fruit beer while my friend had a stout. Trust, there's something for everyone whether you love or like beer. I saw that they served food but my friend and I just came for drinks. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Very cool area and the selection of beers is great.

One thing to note: this downtown location has a much smaller, more limited bar menu compared to their other location, which I didn't realize when choosing where to go. That was on me for not checking more closely. We ordered the Barcuterie, Smashy burger, and Steakhouse Smashy. Both burgers were excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The Smashy with American cheese and their perfect sauce was a standout, and the Steakhouse Smashy with bleu cheese crumbles, grilled mushrooms and onions, plus house-made steak sauce was just as good. The house-made chips that came with the burgers, along with the dipping sauce, were outstanding. We liked them so much that we even ordered an extra batch to go. The Barcuterie was also really good. The sausage and warm pretzel loaf were amazing, and the beer cheese paired well with them. The Dijon kraut, pickled vegetables, and mustard weren't really our favorites, but overall it was still a fun and tasty appetizer. My husband ordered a beer flight, which included (4) 5 ounce tasters, all of which he enjoyed. If you're going for burgers and beer, this spot is definitely worth checking out and the prices were reasonable, just be aware the downtown menu is a bit more limited.
