This is a very interesting and amazing spot we had planned in advanced. I found this place on TikTok of all places because we were looking for fun and unique spots to visit. We had a reservation which we happened to be the first people in this bar. I liked that because everyone working told us the purpose and reasoning behind what they do. I wish I could remember names but a few people helped us throughout the night. The first bar tender that helped us explained that he would ask questions step by step about what we wanted to drink. After they got an idea, they would make us a special cocktail. The vibe was very yacht club like and they played very mellow music which was a very cool vibe. All three of us went and answered each question and all got a different drink. It was fun and the bar tender was very kind throughout the process. Each drink was tasty in its own way. That bar tender left and a new one helped us. He too was very kind and we had great conversations with him. He asked if we wanted another round and we wanted to see his style. His drinks were good too! This was such a unique experience while in Vegas. If you like picking your drink instead of the surprise drink, they have another bar to order. It was a cool spot and I definitely reckoned.

Love this new spot! It replaced the old downtown cocktail room and is a super cool vibe. They have a great selection of drinks, photo op spots and its worth a visit. The bartenders were very friendly, and service was on point. Its way better than the cocktail room and much more welcoming:)

Aperol spritz. And look at the napkin!!!!!

I like the whole vibe of this place and what they are doing. Very cozy speak easy type situation but it's craft cocktails and not just whiskey. They have something for everyone and they have a happy hour. Can't beat a $9 aperol spritz. The service is so good. Very attentive and friendly. We would definitely come back. They have a whole nother bar called "the captains quarters" that opens at 8pm. I'm giving 4 stars because the bar stools were the small metal ones from say ikea- and they are not comfortable. If you're doing craft cocktails- have some cushy bar stools!!! 10/10. Go get a drink from bartender Evan!!

I was super excited to try this place after briefly speaking to Miguel.... However, when my guest and I first walked in we waited about 8 mins because there was no one to greet us. We kept being overlooked & another customer advised us it was open seating. As we sat down we waited a total of 18 mins before I had to get the attention of Georgia. She did apologize and comp'd our first round . Very thoughtful but the bad taste was already in my mouth . I did appreciate how delicious the cocktails were and I truly enjoyed Georgia's personality. She really try to turn our experience around and I appreciate that . After we finished we took a look at the speakeasy and it was adorable! I love the fact there is no menu & based on your conversation with the bartender they will craft you a cocktail based on what you mentioned during the conversation which is so cool & personable. Overall, I will consider giving this place another chance based on the speakeasy and I am aware they just opened.

This might be my new hangout bar. The drinks are delicious, decently priced and the menu rotates every few months. Also, the music was 90s & 2000s hip hop and r&b and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The conversations bar in the back is a must experience! That particular area in the bar has no menu and the bartender crafts a drink based on the flavors or kind of style of drinks you want. This is a great bar and I'm glad I got experience this. I will be returning!

Beautiful and cozy venue opened for less than a year. I was the first guest of the day and Evan was behind the bar and I was happy to see how passionate he is about their bar. He made me a Paper Plane. They have a great menu with some signature cocktails and some classics but they have a full bar to make any drink you want. I also had a beer and a delicious Mai Tai (picture) made by Miguel. You can feel when the bartender love their craft. I also would like to thank Alejandro for the amazing customer service. I will go back with friends after 8pm to enjoy the Captain's Quarters. It's another room, another bar inside White Whale with a different concept: There's no menu and the bartender will make your cocktail based on a quick conversation about what you like. I'm excited to go back. I live in Vegas and finding great places to go is challenging sometimes. Thanks Evan, Miguel and Alejandro for the top notch hospitality. (You can park your car at the public parking lot on the corner of Las Vegas Blv x Carson).

So decided to try White Whale and it was just okay. First the entrance to the bar is not in the front but around the corner in the alley which unfortunately smells like urine because it's an alley. The ambiance inside is decent and the bartenders were nice but the drinks were underwhelming. I ordered a drink called Leaving Tijuana it tasted similar to a pre made margarita with a better presentation. My fiancée got a Spicy Sammy which was pretty good but ultimately the drinks were a bit overpriced and only decent on average. I will say they had a pretty decent music playlist.

White whale is a new cocktail bar by Fremont that will cement itself as a go-to for any cocktail enthusiast. They artistically craft each menu item and you can taste all the hard work and experience put into each cocktail! Jules made us feel very welcomed and Daniel was really knowledgeable and guided us through the menu giving us insight into the story of White Whale. I really enjoyed talking about different bars with the same feel and approach to cocktails. White Whale is more than a bar, it is an experience. One of my top cocktail bar experiences of all time!

Really fun experience. The drinks were about $20-$25 each. We just got two, one each. It was an intimate atmosphere. They inly had the bar part open but it was cool. The womans bathroom is insane in a cool way. It is all mirrors and glass. Loved it.

We went to the soft opening of White Whale and my husband and I were impressed with the Hospitality! Evan was great with explaining the concept behind White Whale and recommending us great drinks. Highly recommend the Gin Dirty Martini!! & if you're indecisive about a drink having the bartender make you one with what you enjoy drinking was the choices we had after our first round. We truly appreciated how the ambiance was similar to what was originally here. Being a local in Vegas there's very few places that feel like they are truly for the community and we're happy to see and hear that White Whale does. This will definitely be one of our regular spots.

Fantastic bar that has taken over the old dcr location. Focused on craft cocktails and friendly service. I had 2 cocktails during their happy hour ( gold rush and carijillo for $9 each) and they were both delicious. Both of the bartenders (evan was very helpful) were friendly and held great conversation. They also gave me great locations for other bars and restaurants in the area. I came back later after the show that I went to their speakeasy the Captains Quarters and enjoyed my time there as well. The captains quarters doesn't have a menu per se. The bartenders ask you some questions about your preferences and reccomend a drink based on you responses. Happy hour from 4-6. Captains quarters 8pm -close

    Lively environment and eager waitstaff.

Cool place, as was the place that was here before, as will the place after, I am sure. Def hit happy hour, a bargain, & get the $9 margarita, drink one, drink many, but dont fear, you'l never have to worry about a DUI after a couple of these. Oh and the wait staff is super friendly, when they are there.

Absolute world-class bar. Found myself here Christmas night on a trip to Vegas and I could not have had a better night. Perfect atmosphere and nothing but aces behind the bar - talk about hitting the jackpot. No trip there will be complete for me again without saddling up to the Captain's Quarters for a drink or three :)

It is now part of the routine when I'm in Vegas. The drinks are tasty but still have personality and a perspective. You can tell by the drink names in conjunction with tasting them - that the Prowl team take what they do seriously without taking themselves too seriously. No pretentious mixology nonsense. The drinks were all good, and thankfully they have non-alcoholic versions for many of their drinks. No complaints on any of them, they were exactly what we were looking for. I will say the prices are a little steep, but this isn't someplace you are likely to come to on a regular basis, so I can excuse it. (And if you do like the vibe and come often, you can always get non tiki drinks cheaper.) The only hint I'll give is that it's located on the casino floor. When we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess. She asked us if we had reservations or were walking in. I really appreciated this because the way she phrased her question told me they had availability and we would be granted entry. The bar is very small and seats about 30. Reservations are strongly encouraged, however we went on a Monday in February. If you're going on a weeknight during off peak season, you should be okay without a reservation. The hostess gave us the option of sitting at the bar or at a table. We asked her for her rec and she said the bar so that's what we chose. The decor is beautiful. The ambiance is dark and moody. It's perfect for a date night. We were greeted by both bartenders. I believe the bartender that made our drinks was Rory. He was very nice and knowledgeable about cocktails. He was able to answer our questions and make suggestions based on our preferences. As we browsed the menu, we were presented with welcome drinks in a fancy smoky container. I don't recall the name of the drink, but it had a lychee flavor with a sugar rim and it was good! Drinks are extremely pricey which is to be expected in Vegas. It's also on par based on where the speakeasy is located (hint hint). The cheapest cocktail was $30 so prepare yourself for the sticker shock. Some drinks were $80-$100! Sometimes you just have to treat yourself. I went with the Velvet Moon which was an interesting cocktail consisting of both gin and mezcal. It had flavors of hibiscus and it also had egg white which I absolutely love! The presentation was beautiful and I really enjoyed it! My friend went with the Basilico Bliss which he enjoyed. I didn't try any, but it looked really good. As we were enjoying our drinks, the staff presented us with savory bar snacks. They were tasty and were a perfect compliment to our cocktails. They do have food on the menu, but we had already eaten so we stuck with our complimentary snacks. As we were closing out, the staff presented us with a complimentary mini dessert. Rory described it as a Carajillo Jello shot. I don't like jello (I hate the texture), but I do love Carajillos. My friend does not drink coffee and does not like coffee flavor, so I ate both of them. They were so delicious (but the texture was off putting lol). I typically don't mention the restrooms in my reviews, but this one is worth mentioning. All I have to say is heated seats with a bidet! We really enjoyed our visit. Had the drinks not been so pricey, we probably would have stayed longer. If you enjoy speakeasies and/or craft cocktails, go have a drink at The Vault! The experience alone is worth it!
