What a vibe! Some friends brought us here and it was nice. We didn't have a reservation but were lucky and scored spots at the bar and then eventually a table. It's very loungey and dark, I loved the vibe of the place. The service from the hostess, bar staff, and servers was wonderful! Everyone was so nice ! Their drink menu changes every so often, and I don't remember the name of our drinks, but we loved what we all got. We also ordered the vegan charcuterie board and devoured it. They have a menu of small bites that all looked good. We had a great time and were here until close to closing. If my friends hadn't brought me I wouldn't have known this was here. I was very happy to try this speakeasy. I had heard about it and since I was coming to Vegas this past weekend, I said, let me make a reservations. However, my experience was not all that great. The best part about my experience was the Bartender Jason. He was a wine enthusiast just like me , so we talked a lot about different wines and different spirits, and overall he just had a very good attitude and personality. Unfortunately, I do not like the rules here. I feel like it's a lot of pressure when you get there and the hostess is a sweetheart, but she kept on coming up to me to ask me what I wanted and wanted to try, which was OK, but I also didn't like how she came back and said to remember that to keep voices low. The thing is, I understand the rules, but it is a lounge and they are playing music and most of the music is for our culture and they know how our culture if anything our voices are a little deeper and louder anyways. Anyways, that's besides the point, I was not even talking loud. The Bartender was just talking to me and we're going over what I didn't want on the menu so that kinda annoyed me a little bit and I didn't understand that, but I guess that's the rules and policies so I decided to ignore it. Also, the girl recommended that the dark chocolate were really good, but they were not good to me actually at all. I didn't even eat the chocolate because it was too hard. Furthermore, I don't like the rules that you need two drinks per minimum because some people just go for the ambience and a lot of people don't drink a lot like myself, so I decided to just order a French 75 and a mocktail. It's pretty small inside and it is hard to find, but it is right next to the Greek place if you're looking for it. They give you their password on their social media through Instagram daily so that's where you get the password from. I took an Uber here so I am not sure about the parking situation, but it is parking on the street and public parking where you can pay. I love supporting black owned businesses, but I was not a fan of here and I didn't like how the music did not have like a theme to it or they didn't play any 90s or R&B you can pick on your own. I've made a few visits to SEVEN:45 over the years since their opening. The ambiance is just as expected: loungey, intimate, modern. The DJ booth and little bar are stunning and make for a good photo. And of course, they deliver some great RnB listens. Reality is, this lounge is very small and overpriced. They charge for bottled water, serve only their own cocktails (or any liquor neat), and mask their steep prices under "exclusivity". It's the perfect spot before/after dinner to whisper over drinks and just vibe with a date. We were really looking forward to SEVEN:45 because the concept looked unique and upscale online, but unfortunately the experience did not match our expectations. First, the entry process was unnecessarily confusing. We were told to check Instagram for the password, but the Story didn't even appear until after I followed the account. That should have been clearly explained. Once inside, the space was dark. We were told we couldn't use the light from our phone to see the menu, yet a very bright table lamp was brought over so we could see the menu. The bigger issue was the service style. We were told they usually do not veer from the limited cocktail menu, even though there is a full bar. That was surprising and felt overly restrictive. There is also a two-drink minimum, and after ordering, someone came to our table with a "gentle reminder" about the noise level, even though conversations from other tables could clearly be heard across the room. I understand that this is a listening lounge and that it has a specific concept, but the number of rules made the experience feel more controlled than enjoyable. We came expecting an upscale, relaxed R&B lounge where we could enjoy drinks, conversation, and the atmosphere. Instead, we felt like we had to constantly monitor ourselves. Easily one of my favorite bars in the art district! Although the venue is small, the vibes are amazing every single time! I love that each day either features a new album, an old one, or a bring your own vinyl night. No two visits will be the same and you'll likely hear something new you've never heard so have your Shazam ready! The staff are super friendly and from my very first time visiting they took the time to learn my name and make it feel like a personal experience. We had an absolutely fantastic time on our first visit last night. Everyone was very friendly and fun and honestly gorgeous! We were greeted at a door and had a reservation but also checked the Instagram story for their password. Once inside, we sat at the bar as requested in the reservation. The people behind the bar were all super lovely and we ordered the salmon dip and salmon stuffed mushrooms as well as two drinks. The food was so delicious I could have eaten seconds and thirds. I had a clarified guava gin milk punch and it was one of the best drinks I've had in Vegas. They claimed they pay for zero marketing and it's all word of mouth. Not buying it. If they're not, they should, because I've seen a few influencers cover this place positively that should be paid. Also, I like that they open at 7:45pm sharp. Cute play on the name. Details. Cons: Before you walk in the door they make it a point to tell you inside voices only. They are preserving a "vibe". Ma'am, there is no vibe. It's empty in here and obviously anyone trying this place is not going to be loud and/or rowdy. Even if you were hype coming from somewhere else, this place immediately will kill your buzz, kill your "vibe", and your energy. So yeah, very unnecessary to mention that. Rules right. I saw SEVEN:45 on Tik Tok and was sold once I saw that it was a cute little R&B spot. I had no idea it was a speakeasy upon arrival so be sure to check their IG stories for the password to get in as it changes daily. We came on a Saturday night and got seated at the bar after waiting for maybe 5 minutes. FYI the minimum is 2 drinks per person, it says it at the door before you go in so there should be no surprises but I will say we weren't interested in many other cocktails after the first round. I have been dying to come check out 7:45, so I was incredibly excited when my husband took me here tonight; perfect ending to my birthday. The owner, Diera (I hope spelling is correct), was spinning the vinyls - most of which she inherited from her grandmother. What a wonderful thing for her to share this beautiful R&B vinyl collection with all of us patrons. She was so kind and spent quite a bit of time chatting with us which was so nice. You leave wanting to be Diera's best friend, she's that wonderful to be around. Our server Shay was also incredibly friendly and was attentive enough while also allowing us to enjoy our time in this magical space. She also did a great job in explaining some of the flavor profiles for their cocktails so we knew exactly what we were in for. The drinks were fantastic with a great deal of love & care put into making them. I had 3 cocktails, my husband had 2. We both loved the off menu drink, the brown sugar old fashion - probably one of the best old fashions around town. For my 3 drinks, I had 'Something Foreign', 'Low Tide', and 'Treasure in the Hills'. I greatly enjoyed all 3 drinks, honestly hard to choose a favorite, so I won't haha. The atmosphere was also wonderful. Such a relaxed environment with cool furnishings / décor and not at all overly crowded. The music was a great volume; loud enough to enjoy, but soft enough to still have a conversation without having to yell. There was a small patio for when the weather is pleasant. There were also 2 gender neutral restrooms. The only tiny complaint is that some tables, including the one we sat at had 1 plastic white chair each. My husband was quite uncomfortable in this chair; the gentleman at the table next to us overheard my husband and agreed those chairs were awful. However, the orange velvet chairs were super comfy, which is what I sat in, so I was happy lol Overall, I absolutely adored my time here and really didn't want to leave. Had a long night but pushed myself to stop by SEVEN:45 and so glad I did! SEVEN:45 is a R&B speakeasy located in the Arts District. Stopping by was pretty easy via Uber. I RSVP'ed ahead of time via Opentable on their site. Coming in, you enter through a mysterious door with a neon SEVEN:45. As you get to the end of a hallway full of R&B stars, you see the house rules and a digital doorbell. Once you give the password (poke around / ask!), you are greeted inside. The interior decor is sleek, modern, and definitely has all the wonderful trappings of a great listening bar. Love the turntables/vinyls in the middle of the venue. The bar itself is pretty wide and love the vinyls spaced out all over. There are a few tables as well as an outdoor area that I didn't venture to. Sitting down, I got to chat with some of the staff including the owner DeAira who is both passionate about her vision for the listening bar as well as a warm and friendly host. You are asked a few things by the house rules including getting a minimum of 2 drinks. I ended getting an off-the-menu item, the Japanese Denim, and the Whip Appeal. The Japanese Denim is a play on old fashioned using Japanese Plum wine. It was exactly what I was looking for that night - something lighter / smoother/ slightly sweeter. Just delicious and a wonderful start to the night. The Whip Appeal was my last drink of the night - definitely a sweeter drink with a nice little kick with the jalapeño aguardiente. I loved the presentation on all the drinks I saw being made throughout the night. I didn't end up getting any food (they have a few items to nibble on) and for water, they had water bottles available. For most of the night, I grooved to a great playlist of R&B songs both familiar and not. The sound quality was terrific/played at a comfortable volume, and they are continuing to improve their hardware. Loved that it felt relaxing yet sophisticated. Came here for the first time last night straight from the airport, midnight , & it was a relaxing experience. Chill, grown, classy but comfy vibes. We had ordered the cranes on the sky drink and 20/10, it's a must have !!! Service was great as well. The only thing i wish they did offer from their snack menu would be more snack bites, i was hungry lol. Definitely check this place out. read more

They actually took the time to learn everyone in our party's name, and even remembered them throughout the night, which really set this place apart. The laid-back, old-school R&B vibes created the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the experience. It felt intimate, stylish, and effortlessly cool. The handcrafted drinks were phenomenal. We asked the bartender to surprise us with our drinks, and they absolutely nailed it;both were creative, balanced, and delicious. Between the attentive service, great music, and top-tier cocktails, SEVEN:45 delivered on every level. This is without a doubt a spot I'll be visiting every single time I come to Vegas from now on.
