Before you arrive, you have to make sure that you know the secret password. My friend was the one that knew it but I believe you get it from their social media or website. We walked in, but I heard reservation is suggested. There was a bit of a wait because this area has only limited seating. I wouldn't suggest coming here with a huge group of people unless you have some reservation that can hold that many people. Drinks are fairly good but I'm not much of a mixed drinks person myself. Easily one of my favorite bars in the art district! Although the venue is small, the vibes are amazing every single time! I love that each day either features a new album, an old one, or a bring your own vinyl night. No two visits will be the same and you'll likely hear something new you've never heard so have your Shazam ready! The staff are super friendly and from my very first time visiting they took the time to learn my name and make it feel like a personal experience. I don't like feeling pressured to buy when nothing offered suits me when I support or patronize a business. This black female owned speakeasy advertises way better than it actually is. They claimed they pay for zero marketing and it's all word of mouth. Not buying it. If they're not, they should, because I've seen a few influencers cover this place positively that should be paid. It got us in there... Pros: I like that they give the speakeasy hidden experience of needing the password to get in. That's cute, and easily accessible on their IG. Also, I like that they open at 7:45pm sharp. Cute play on the name. Details. Cons: Before you walk in the door they make it a point to tell you inside voices only. They are preserving a "vibe". Ma'am, there is no vibe. It's empty in here and obviously anyone trying this place is not going to be loud and/or rowdy. Even if you were hype coming from somewhere else, this place immediately will kill your buzz, kill your "vibe", and your energy. So yeah, very unnecessary to mention that. Rules right. They were pushy for you to order items and drinks from their extremely small menu with basic offerings. The bartenders' mood seemed to change when we said we were full. We just had a massive steakhouse dinner with champagne, mixed drinks, the whole nine. Came to try a drink and go. FYI, they have an order minimum cost meaning you must spend $10 to get anything. Rules. I asked for water, they charged me $10, plus tax?!? Why. Make it even and move on. Nope. Not here. Oh, don't forget, cashless, so no change. I get that it's not uncommon, but still, Rules. I gave them $11 for a mini water bottle. They didn't even have full sizes. A 24pk of regular size water bottles is $6. What are they going? Tap water by the glass was not offered. I also think they said no pictures or recording? I could be wrong. But if that is the case, Rules! The place itself is small and unimpressive. The hallway before you enter with the music artists photos was more impressive to me than the inside. I was ready to go the moment we sat down. The music selection not the best. It was not packed or crowded, yet the hostess/DJ asked if we had a reservation to enter. Not just to ask, it was phrased as if they were so packed and busy, no reservation, no entry, even with password. We get in there, it's a handful of people all one group. That annoyed me. I saw SEVEN:45 on Tik Tok and was sold once I saw that it was a cute little R&B spot. I had no idea it was a speakeasy upon arrival so be sure to check their IG stories for the password to get in as it changes daily. We came on a Saturday night and got seated at the bar after waiting for maybe 5 minutes. FYI the minimum is 2 drinks per person, it says it at the door before you go in so there should be no surprises but I will say we weren't interested in many other cocktails after the first round. The Crane in the Sky is probably one of the best cocktails I've ever tried as it was so unique, fresh, and fruity/sweet. It probably could have been a little more strong as it tasted like juice and didn't do much for me but nonetheless I was super satisfied with this drink. I'd probably stick to this drink only since it's so good and the other cocktails we tried didn't stand out as much, but were still tasty, SEVEN;45 probably isn't somewhere I'd stay all night but it's a good starting point for bar hopping or to grab a drink at after dinner. Decided to turn the trip into a weekly date night instead and it was so fun. First things first, be sure to grab a reservation and know the password upon entry. I was expecting a typical, somewhat higher end bar, but this was so much better. It was set up like a speakeasy and at first we were so confused how it was even a bar. I have been dying to come check out 7:45, so I was incredibly excited when my husband took me here tonight; perfect ending to my birthday. The owner, Diera (I hope spelling is correct), was spinning the vinyls - most of which she inherited from her grandmother. What a wonderful thing for her to share this beautiful R&B vinyl collection with all of us patrons. She was so kind and spent quite a bit of time chatting with us which was so nice. You leave wanting to be Diera's best friend, she's that wonderful to be around. Our server Shay was also incredibly friendly and was attentive enough while also allowing us to enjoy our time in this magical space. She also did a great job in explaining some of the flavor profiles for their cocktails so we knew exactly what we were in for. The drinks were fantastic with a great deal of love & care put into making them. I had 3 cocktails, my husband had 2. We both loved the off menu drink, the brown sugar old fashion - probably one of the best old fashions around town. For my 3 drinks, I had 'Something Foreign', 'Low Tide', and 'Treasure in the Hills'. I greatly enjoyed all 3 drinks, honestly hard to choose a favorite, so I won't haha. The atmosphere was also wonderful. Such a relaxed environment with cool furnishings / décor and not at all overly crowded. The music was a great volume; loud enough to enjoy, but soft enough to still have a conversation without having to yell. There was a small patio for when the weather is pleasant. There were also 2 gender neutral restrooms. The only tiny complaint is that some tables, including the one we sat at had 1 plastic white chair each. My husband was quite uncomfortable in this chair; the gentleman at the table next to us overheard my husband and agreed those chairs were awful. Had a long night but pushed myself to stop by SEVEN:45 and so glad I did! SEVEN:45 is a R&B speakeasy located in the Arts District. Stopping by was pretty easy via Uber. I RSVP'ed ahead of time via Opentable on their site. Coming in, you enter through a mysterious door with a neon SEVEN:45. As you get to the end of a hallway full of R&B stars, you see the house rules and a digital doorbell. Once you give the password (poke around / ask!), you are greeted inside. The interior decor is sleek, modern, and definitely has all the wonderful trappings of a great listening bar. Love the turntables/vinyls in the middle of the venue. The bar itself is pretty wide and love the vinyls spaced out all over. There are a few tables as well as an outdoor area that I didn't venture to. Sitting down, I got to chat with some of the staff including the owner DeAira who is both passionate about her vision for the listening bar as well as a warm and friendly host. You are asked a few things by the house rules including getting a minimum of 2 drinks. I ended getting an off-the-menu item, the Japanese Denim, and the Whip Appeal. The Japanese Denim is a play on old fashioned using Japanese Plum wine. It was exactly what I was looking for that night - something lighter / smoother/ slightly sweeter. Just delicious and a wonderful start to the night. The Whip Appeal was my last drink of the night - definitely a sweeter drink with a nice little kick with the jalapeño aguardiente. I loved the presentation on all the drinks I saw being made throughout the night. I didn't end up getting any food (they have a few items to nibble on) and for water, they had water bottles available. For most of the night, I grooved to a great playlist of R&B songs both familiar and not. The sound quality was terrific/played at a comfortable volume, and they are continuing to improve their hardware. Loved that it felt relaxing yet sophisticated. Reservations are recommended, but my friend and I walked in--prepped with our pass code through the door. The walk going inside was very subtle until you get in. It's almost like a repurposed garage from the inside, since towards the back you can clearly see a garage door that can have an outdoor feel if opened. I ordered the riesling. Very good, soft, and went down smooth. They have a light bite menu. I had the pleasure to enjoy the salmon spread with warm pita bread. Yummy . So I love a good hidden bar. Hidden bars and speakeasies are definitely my thing. This spot was no different. This establishment is a basically have to know about type of place. You can't just walk in by any means. You need a reservation, so make sure that's first and foremost on your list. You can go to the site or wherever to make a reservation. Now, if you get to the door with the reservation but don't have the password, that's going to be an issue. I guess they're strict on that. There are people who made reservations but didn't know that and I actually ended up giving in the password to get in for the day. I would have hated for somebody to not tell me that so I had no problem helping somebody else out. The password in itself changes frequently but it's always on the Instagram page so if you're looking to get in, start there first and foremost. You hit a bus or the buzz in and they'll ask you for the reservation confirmation and ask you for the password so don't be surprised if you don't get in if you don't have all of your ducks in a row. So we sat down and saw the menu, the menu isn't super extensive but it has some decently crafted and well curated drinks for what it looks like. Mama Dee was the person who took care of us and she looked out for us. If you want something to eat, I suggest you going elsewhere before you get to this spot because they don't have a full full menu at all. But if you want a few drinks, this is going to be the spot for you. The music was dope, hands down. The music was super solid! It's an r&B bar so you're going to get all of that r&B music to boot. They had a TV on the wall that was playing old school music videos and then they had the music playing on the loud speaker. Decided to try this speakeasy out on a Friday night. As soon as you walk into Seven:45, you are presented with a nice walkway with pictures of R&B artists, then you get to a white door with a doorbell that you ring. The hostess comes out and confirms your reservation and the password for the night. We had reservations for a Friday night and our wait wasn't too long before we were granted entry. I later found out that we were granted entry by the owner, DeAira. Immediately as you walk in, you are presented with a nice ambiance and all the best R&B music being played. Everything was positive so far however we were a bit let down by being seated at the bar even though we had reservations that required a credit card for the reservation. I tried to inquire about this with the owner but she waved me off and told me to hold on due to her being busy attending to other patrons. I assumed she would circle back to us but never did. This place definitely has 10/10 vibes, music is 10/10 as well however they are lacking in customer service. I heard by a fellow patron that during his last visit they attended to him and his partner and created a more intimate setting. He was even able to discuss the background of the speakeasy with the owner, DeAira. However during our visit, we did not get any of this. Service was rushed, lackluster and the owner appeared extremely flustered due to the busyness of the evening. This place has so much potential. It seems like when they are busy, that's when their weaknesses are exposed. The owner and 2 other ladies behind the bar are running the show, which decreases the efficiency of service to the individuals at the tables, or to those trying to enter through establishment. Also, the size of the establishment is not as big so suggesting more seating, especially during busy season, would benefit this speakeasy. In addition, we apparently came when they just changed the drink menus due to their one year anniversary. The drinks were decent, nothing special. I heard the previous menu had a bomb expresso martini so was excited to try that but they did not have any materials to make it. Overall I was pleased with this speakeasy by the decor and vibes alone however was very displeased by the service and lack of communication even from the owner. If you have reservations and put down a credit card to secure the reservation, you should be seated and not taken to the bar. It makes the reservation pointless. Also, things did not appear as friendly as other reviews stated. Again, might have been due to the busy nature of the night. I am a woman who loves R&B music. Making that the inspiration throughout a speakeasy is perfect! A HUGE plus is that this is a welcoming space curated by a black woman owner . I love seeing us create space in a dope way. Need to Knows 1. Since it is a smaller space, like most speakeasy spots, I would opt for a reservation to ensure a table / seat. 2. Make sure you know that password boo. You won't be able to enter without it. The good news is they post the password on their story each day. 3. Keep the noise to a respectful level. This space truly creates a laid back vibe to enjoy music and conversation. Drinks The drinks are named after R&B songs, which immediately caught my eye. I LOVE a theme! lol * Love & Happiness - whiskey, orgeat syrup, fresh lemon juice, and aquafaba. I didn't get a ton of the lemon juice coming through, but I did get the sweetness from the syrup. I think the lemon slice would've gave more to the drink as well. I'm going to get it again next time to give it another shot. Definitely gave me the strong drink I needed that night though. * Her Way - Blanco tequila, cucumber, jalapeño tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar. My friend got this one. I remember catching them say the jalapeño shined through the most in this drink. Food * They have a Vegan Charcuterie Board !! When I tell you that was the BEST I've ever had at a restaurant. We cleared it lol. * My friend had the Homemade Hummus. It's garlic roasted bell pepper hummus with cucumbers. He said it was good. Ambiance The space felt like you were at a record store mixed with the comfort of your own home. So welcoming and relaxed. I liked that tables were spaced out. I hate going to spots and feeling cramped. This space allows for more personal and intimate conversations where you don't have to hear your neighbors convos. Service Everyone was nice and accommodating. We even got to meet the owner! She was such a great spirit. Overall, for them to only had been open for 7 days at the time we went, they are doing great. I came twice once on a date and once with a friend! A reservation is required and there is a two drink minimum per person so be prepared to spend approximately $32 per person to enter. There is an indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area does have heat lamps, but there isn't much to look at so hopefully the conversation carries. Depending on the night, the R&B varies big appeal with this establishment is. The staff is super personable which is great given the size of the space. I was able to try 4 of the signature cocktail: -Cranes in the Sky: this was my fav and I ordered it both times I went. Sweet, Floral, and reminded me of tea. Also really consistent between the two times I went -Come & Talk To Me Remix: this is their take on an espresso martini and did a decent job at giving me a pep to start the evening. -Whip Appeal: This was great and the coating on the rim reminded me of fruity pebbles. Very good!! -Ex- Factor: My friend ordered this, but it was very light and crisp super refreshing and is imaged it would be a great summer drink. I didn't love the jalapeño, but it didn't take a ton away from the drink. We didn't try any food but I would really like to the next time I go. This is an experience! My wife saw a video on this speakeasy on Instagram and we knew we had to go! Everything from the booking of your reservation, to the secret password to get in is very detailed. The hallway to the door has a looped recording of different artists and groups repeating lyrics that mention seven 45, while you're walking take your time to appreciate the different portraits of some of our greatest musicians throughout history. The service was amazing my wife and I sat at the bar and were lucky enough to have a great conversation with the owner and her mother. We learned a lot about the inspiration behind all of the records and decor. Let's talk about the food, the small bites are amazing! My favorite was the spicy olives, but the stuffed mushrooms are fire , the salmon spread is really good as well. For drinks I had the crane in the sky and let me say it's amazing you have to be careful it will definitely sneak up on you. All in all this place is definitely something you should experience when you come to Vegas especially if you love music. read more

The ambiance & execution of this space is AMAZING! The perfectly crafted cocktails are a sexy addition to this sexy speakeasy & although there is a 2 drink minimum, you will find it hard to choose. From the small bites menu, to the vinyl spinning, it feels like you're HOME! The fact that the owner came around and spoke to everyone truly made the experience that much better. I love the fact , the capacity is about 40 ppl & the service was amazing ! I wouldn't mind if they had a few more options on the small bites menu ,however, it's still perfect in my eyes.
