Dark and intimate area in downtown Las Vegas if you're looking to grab a drink. The area is spacious inside and outside depending on the vibe you;re going for. The main thing to try here is their 24 hour jerk chicken. It may be a little pricey and you only get 4 pieces of chicken, but it is really packed with flavor and worth a try at least once. When we came here, there was only one person at the bar but we also came here a little before the night started. The service was pretty easy even with little staff, but they eventually started to have more bartenders once the night kept going. Parking is similar to any downtown area where you kind of just have to find place around the area. read more

This isn't the first time I went to this amazing place. It's such a gem in the Arts District ! The bartenders here are really nice and engaging. They really know their stuff. We ordered several drinks off the drink menu, which are all so amazing. My group and I also ordered some rum as they have quite a collection and most I have never even heard of. Jammyland is a casual, intimate bar with a decent selection of bites. Unfortunately during my visit, most tables were reserved for a large party. There isn't much seating inside, but they have a large open area in the front for the warmer months. Good selection of cocktails as well. The bartender asked me if I wanted the drink traditional or non-traditional, but did not ask me what brand of bourbon I wanted or how I wanted it prepared. This place was a chill vibe on a Saturday night! We came in for a drink and to check out the bar. They had reggae music playing, it really set the mood. The decor and liquor options took me back to being in Jamaica. Of course we had a Red Stripe! They had a bunch of Jamaican rums at the bar too! The bartender was nice and attentive. Jammyland has an incredibly cool vibe and a great big patio that is dog friendly. During the cooler months they have fire pits outside. Food is always super tasty. Their wings are incredible. I love to sit at the bar at most places we go and the bartenders are all really great. They have a pretty extensive and interesting craft cocktail menu. I dock one star because they do have a weird rule when it comes to their cocktails and that is modifications. There was a cocktail I really wanted to try but had a singular ingredient that I know I hate. They said they couldn't leave it out. I understand that it would change the original concept of the cocktail. I also understand that I liked all of the other ingredients. I popped by Jammyland after some failed bar hopping in the area. I wanted to eat something good relatively healthy and flavorful and got the curried chickpeas with rice & peas. The flavor was on point, great balance of heat and curry. The bar had a Black Lagoon takeover for Halloween and the signature drinks were unique and eye catching. They had custom glassware available for purchase. The dancehall music was great and they had a live band playing on the patio. The staff seemed new, lots of training going on. Food: The food was delicious but the menu was definitely a limited one. If you have picky eaters you could run into issues. Ambiance: Its a cute place but VERY loud. Don't plan to have quiet conversations because you'll be yelling over the music/other customers. This isn't a bad thing as long as you know what you're getting in to. Service: This is where I had to take a star. On more than one occasion we had to go ask for service. When we were out of water for over 15 minutes we had to go to the bar. The bar area was busy but as one of the few tables with guests we were forgotten. As far as ambiance goes, Jammyland is a fun place to hang out with their great tunes and outdoor patio. I came with a bunch of friends so we tried most of the menu. Servers were friendly and helpful when they were circulating around outside. The standouts were the Pepper Pot Sliders, the Cubano and their Sweet Potato Fries which both had robust and unique well balanced flavors. We got the wings, which had a dry rub and for everyone at our table had good flavor but needed moisture. The Mac and Cheese Pies had good crisp to them but they didn't have enough seasoning until you made it to pockets of lots of seasoning. The beef patty had great crust but wasn't necessarily something I'd go back for. The rice and peas was far too mushy for me. The pineapple bread pudding had an interesting texture and wasn't quite what we had expected. If you go, Pepper Pot Sliders, the Cubano and their Sweet Potato Fries are the way to go along with one of their cocktails on the patio. read more

What a vibe! My friend and I stopped here after first Friday and had possibly the best sliders we've ever had. Since it was busy, we were originally seated at the outdoor fire pits, but some seats opened up at the bar so we were able to move inside. The bar was decorated very nicely and the bartenders were all super sweet. We started with two virgin cocktails - the garden party and the hocus pocus. The garden party was very refreshing and floral. The hocus pocus was very tart, so if that's your thing, get this one! As mentioned before, the sliders are amazing. They are juicy, tender, flavorful, and balanced well with the pickle and the bread. Unfortunately, the traditional Mac pie and the two tamales we tried were lackluster in flavor and dry in texture. Everything else about the experience saved the rating from going below 4 stars, but if I were to return, I'd stick to the sliders. read more

Ask Tise the bartender, he will lead you down the best path to a great drink selection. My first out the gate was a cocktail called "selective light". Very disappointed, we ordered the jerk wings, as it reads a pound. So when we got our wings it was only three wings on the plate. So we told who we believe is an owner that we didn't want it but she got really emotional and told us about the price of wings and that they cannot do anything with them. We was explaining that we didn't touch them nor was we satisfied with the amount of wings. She said you all didn't even taste them as we was not wanting to eat them. Plates are tapas style which is my favorite so we get to try multiple items. We ordered the Key West Clam Fritters, Jerk wings and Griot & Pikliz. Sauce...let me first tell you how much I absolutely LOVE when things have sauce or come with a dipping sauce. These clam fritters came with a house made remoulade that was delicious. The Jerk wings were what the waiter said they were known for, they were good but not my favorite. Griot and pikliz this was my absolute FAVORITE!! The pork was perfect! Flash fried but not greasy. The flavor was so good, not salty like some pork can be. The jasmine rice mmm and the pickled "veggies" holy moly I could eat them every single day. I literally loved the rice and picked veggies so much i ordered an extra side of BOTH and devoured them by myself! Definitely a place to add to your list to eat at. Have been wanting to check this place out for years and finally made a visit. The cocktail menu has so many great options. We ordered four different drinks and they were all delicious. We got the sliders, the beef patty, sweet potato fries, and the curry and it was all delicious. Fair warning that when they say the curry is spicy, it is SPICY. The staff was super nice and stopped by multiple times to make sure all was going well. The AC did seem to be on the fritz when we were there, but they had fans blowing which helped a bit. read more

Jammyland has been on my places to visit for quite some time. This was our last stop on my college graduation celebration barhop. This bar is across the street from Hop Nuts Brewery and Makers & Finders. We first noticed it while we were at Hop Nuts a couple of months ago. You know the phrase 'shop till you drop?' Well, that was me with beer. I could barely stomach beer after Jammyland, so I had to stop. Jammyland is one of multiple bars on Main Street that's open late on the weekends (I believe 2:00am). My boyfriend and I strolled in at around 11:00 and it wasn't busy. It's a Caribbean style bar that includes Caribbean food and music. Like all other breweries on Main Street, they have a very nice patio, so we chose to sit outside once again after choosing our drinks. My boyfriend had a cocktail (I don't remember the name of it, but he said that it was very strong) and I had the 7five golden ale. Their beer and wine menu seems to change very often. They have a free water station outside, which is very useful. Water is your best friend whenever you're barhopping. Will have to come back and try out their food one day. This was a wonderful bar to visit and a great way to wrap up a night of barhopping. read more

My boss suggested Jammyland when I asked him about any cool bars by our office. My friend and I walked there from our office. It's located off of Main in between California and Charleston. It has a big outdoor patio that leads into the main bar. They offer bar top seating and have some low top tables by the open kitchen. We opted to sit at the bar and were greeted by the sweetest bartender. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but she was working on a Friday night. She started us off with waters while we scanned the menu QR code and began looking for what to drink. For our first round, we ordered a rose wine and the Garden Party. The Garden Party was the prettiest little handcrafted cocktail you ever did see. It was served over that yummy crushed pebble ice that's awesome for crunching on as your drink sits. We also ordered some sweet potato fries. We would have ordered more food like the beef patties or the jerk wings but we had dinner reservations somewhere else. We only planned on having one drink each, but as the place got more crowded and we saw more drinks go out we decided we needed to order another round. We did a hurricane and the Intertropical Convergence for that round. They were both made with rum and honestly were a bit too strong for our tastes (such amateurs right?) so full disclosure, we didn't finish them. I would definitely suggest trying Jammyland if you've never been. It's not one of those pretentious bars but a chill downtown spot with an awesome laidback vibe that serves a mean crafted cocktail. There were six of us in our group and we decided to pop in to have a drink while we were downtown for first Friday. we went inside and one of the staff members found a table for us to sit. It was very busy. And ended up sitting there for quite a while before the server came over to order but it did give us time to look over the menu as the drinks were not normal drinks like at a regular bar. We each got something different and only one out of the five drinks tasted good. I ended up getting the painkiller and it was really hard to drink. It's strong and it has a milk consistency, but there was also some weird texture and I wasn't even able to finish it as was about 17 $18 a drink they were not good. The atmosphere is pretty cool and they have stuff outside on their patio area with music and free swag from a local vendor. Overall, I will not be back here.
