My best friend Jasmin brought me to this place last Thursday. It was a slow night and we thought it might be closing but the owner welcomed us in! We only ordered one drink but to me, it was strong so it's all I needed. It was karaoke night so the owner offered us the floor and boyyy did we sing LOL! The staff is so personable and sang along with us. I definitely enjoyed my time and will be back!

Great food and friendly atmosphere! The owners are very happy and energetic about the place! The poke nachos are delicious and great vibes!

Really cute tequila bar in the arts district. They're also a ceviche bar so they specialize in sea food which little else on the foot menu, so non seafood lovers beware. But if you love an amazing margarita and oysters or ceviche you're in the right place! The basic margarita had a fantastic rim and was a pretty example of what a good basic margarita should be. Bella's Berry margarita was incredibly sweet but very tasty. The ambiance was amazing since they decorated heavily for Halloween. The bartender were very nice as well and left us with kind words. I would recommend to any tequila or ceviche lovers both for the menu as well as the vibe.

We recently went to Mezcla, and as always, it didn't disappoint! I had a michelada and the Ahi Poke Nachos--both were delicious, and the food was so fresh. This place truly deserves more recognition. The owner clearly takes her restaurant seriously; we've been here several times, and once had the pleasure of meeting her. She was so friendly and genuinely cares about the community and making sure her clients get the best food and service. The staff was great, very attentive, and added to the welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

Happened to see this place on yelp while we were out in Vegas and decided to stop by! Cute little spot in old town with a huge selection of tequila and mezcal, among other things. Walked in and received great and friendly service. It was slow but it was nice! Mezcla aguachile- so the menu doesn't say it but the green sauce is mild and the red sauce is hot! I went with the green sauce not knowing the spice differences and wanting a refreshing sauce. Delicious mix of seafood, very fresh and flavorful. The green sauce adds citrus but has no spice. Later on we found out the red sauce is the spicy one. Sopes-had both the pork and chicken soles and a side of the red aguachile sauce. Great cook on the meats but a little too much garnish for me. The sopes themselves(tortilla) was perfect. Not grainy, not too thick just right. I would definitely try them again. The red sauce- it is freaking hot! I love spicy and still this burned my mouth. That said, it's delicious just be weary. We loved this placed, it was cute, friendly and had great food! If you want refreshing ceviche then stop by!

I finally made it to Mezcal for a late lunch today, and it was yet another home run for Downtown Las Vegas in my book. Upon arrival, I grabbed a seat at the bar and took a quick glance at the menu. I quickly settled on the Mezcal Aquachile as a lover of all things octopus. After having the first bite, I knew I had a winner. The ceviche was loaded with flavor, the texture was just right, and there was a perfect balance of acid, sweetness, creaminess, and spice. Honestly, it's the best thing I've eaten since I had carnitas at Broad Acres a couple weeks ago. In terms of the space, the inside is pretty quaint with an extended bar and about four or five tabletops, but Mezcal is in a prime location to bar hop or sample dishes from multiple restaurants. They were preparing for their one year anniversary celebration during my visit, so I also got a picture of the sidewalk display (that they had just assembled) on my way out. Happy Anniversary, Mezcal!

What a cute and whimsical place ! The drinks were decent , the customer service was lagging a little bit the music made up for it . I will definitely be back to visit this place .

Stopped in for a cocktail while waiting for a reservation at another establishment. Wasn't aware this spot also has food. Nonetheless tried the classic margarita and will definitely return to try more and sample some dishes! They have happy hour from 12-6P Mon-Fri YES YES AND YES!

So sad to learn that Mezcla is closed (loved visiting last time we were in town). Sign in the window on 1/8/2024 says: "Sorry To All We have decided to close our doors as Mezcla Latin Kitchen. We will be re-opening soon as a different concept. Thank You"

Such a fun cute place to eat at! The food was delicious, especially the ceviche which tasted very fresh! The chips and salsa came with banana chips too which tasted great it both the salsa and ceviche. The bartender/waiter was also very friendly and made sure to explain the menu in detail and answered all our questions and shared the best recommendations! The pricing is a little high given the plates are on the smaller side. If you're looking for something more tapas style, this is the place!

Arrived with a warm welcome from Jason. Ordered the Chicken sopas, Ceviche Camerones, Poke Nachos and Classic Margaritas. The Margaritas were made perfectly balanced. The Camarones Ceviche was delicious, then served was our Poke nachos which were so addicting, the ingredients were fresh. Our server Jason brought over a complimentary shot for following Mezcal on instagram which was so nice and delicious. It's located in the art district of downtown, we will be back as soon as possible for deliciousness. Thank you Jason for the experience.

Cornelius recommended several locations to also check out and each of those locations talked about Nocturno being a great spot as well. When you do a cocktail crawl in the Arts District, and they all speak highly of Nocturno, you know it's not just reviews on apps, or awards issued, but mad respect earned from the community itself. It's about to have its 1 year anniversary, and I recommend a weekday visit as it's not as bumping (yet) as the weekend. Get here now while you can. The cocktail menu can appear overwhelming. It's not. It's a pirates treasure map to cocktail booty. It has the classics, and below each classic, is a family tree of variations. You can also just tell the bartenders to make you something with a frame of reference. Seriously, this spot is an educational experience if you want it to be. I was there on a Tuesday at opening, just my buddy and I at the bar, expecting to spend an hour and change there as we had a crawl planned. 20 minutes in, and I canceled my reservation at the Doberman. An hour in, I canceled the next stop too. We spent about 3 hours at the bar, and let me tell you, Cornelius is a terrific ambassador for the cocktail world in Las Vegas. I cannot say enough things about this spot, and it's now earned a permanent spot on my annual visit list of things to do.

I really appreciated this because the way she phrased her question told me they had availability and we would be granted entry. The bar is very small and seats about 30. Reservations are strongly encouraged, however we went on a Monday in February. If you're going on a weeknight during off peak season, you should be okay without a reservation. The hostess gave us the option of sitting at the bar or at a table. We asked her for her rec and she said the bar so that's what we chose. The decor is beautiful. The ambiance is dark and moody. It's perfect for a date night. We were greeted by both bartenders. I believe the bartender that made our drinks was Rory. He was very nice and knowledgeable about cocktails. He was able to answer our questions and make suggestions based on our preferences. As we browsed the menu, we were presented with welcome drinks in a fancy smoky container. I don't recall the name of the drink, but it had a lychee flavor with a sugar rim and it was good! Drinks are extremely pricey which is to be expected in Vegas. It's also on par based on where the speakeasy is located (hint hint). The cheapest cocktail was $30 so prepare yourself for the sticker shock. Some drinks were $80-$100! Sometimes you just have to treat yourself. I went with the Velvet Moon which was an interesting cocktail consisting of both gin and mezcal. It had flavors of hibiscus and it also had egg white which I absolutely love! The presentation was beautiful and I really enjoyed it! My friend went with the Basilico Bliss which he enjoyed. I didn't try any, but it looked really good. As we were enjoying our drinks, the staff presented us with savory bar snacks. They were tasty and were a perfect compliment to our cocktails. They do have food on the menu, but we had already eaten so we stuck with our complimentary snacks. As we were closing out, the staff presented us with a complimentary mini dessert. Rory described it as a Carajillo Jello shot. I don't like jello (I hate the texture), but I do love Carajillos. My friend does not drink coffee and does not like coffee flavor, so I ate both of them. They were so delicious (but the texture was off putting lol). I typically don't mention the restrooms in my reviews, but this one is worth mentioning. All I have to say is heated seats with a bidet! We really enjoyed our visit. Had the drinks not been so pricey, we probably would have stayed longer. If you enjoy speakeasies and/or craft cocktails, go have a drink at The Vault!
