I'm at voodoo at least a couple times a month when he has shows. On Saturday 2/7/26 I was being verbally harassed by a male patron at this establishment, and the owner, Alison, would not hear me out, did not assess the situation and immediately came to the man's defense bc he "was a regular"... so am I?? He threatened the staff of our show w a gun and she still asked if he wanted her to vouch for him when the cops were called. I've been coming here for 2 years now and was fully dismissed by the owner. She even allowed him to come back in the bar when I was literally invited in by the bartender to feel safe. She said "cops are bad for business." So follow the sign on YOUR bar, "we reserve the right to refuse service" and kick out someone harassing people. MULTIPLE people IN the bar came up to me and my husband to tell us that they saw everything and knew he was lying. This place is NOT safe for women, and you can be harassed for hours without a single CARE from the owner or the cops actually showing up. She saw him circling the building, the bartender saw him flipping me off and sticking his tongue out at me. And still the owner did not care. Take your business elsewhere.

Tbh, the Caprice was more my vibe since I like my cocktails on the sweeter side. I loved the ambiance. The vibes were giving cool. Their photo booth in the back is pretty lit too. It was $8 for one strip x4 pictures. I thought this photo booth out of the ones I have previously encountered downtown was one of the better quality ones. To find a Mezcal bar is pretty rare…read more.. I hardly come across a Mezcal bar often. Misterio Mezcal Bar has a very healthy selection of Mezcal; probably every kind of you an imagine.. Not to mention, a vast array of Tequilas as well. Personally, I'm glad Mezcal is getting more of a mainstream spotlight. I do very much enjoy the smokey taste, actually I prefer it over Tequila most of the time. Mezcal is also made from the Agave plant, same as Tequila. The difference is the process; mature Agave plants are harvested, the hearts (piñas) are then roasted in underground pits and milled into a mash. The mash is then fermented and distilled, usually twice I believe. A medium size venue, I can see this place getting packed on the weekends, especially in the evening. It's a bit dim on the inside, I reckon its due to darker paint scheme. We arrived on a mild Sunday afternoon, the place was empty, just the staff cleaning and prepping. The service brilliant, the bartender was very knowledgeable, friendly and brilliant at crafting us some fine adult beverages. #AdultDranks: ~ CHUCABRAS - 4.5/5 - Ilegal Reposado, Lemon Juice, Tamarind-Rosemary Syrup. I thought the prices were pretty average for a bar downtown. We also gave the photo booth a try inside and came away with 2 great strips. Great place to stop in for a drink!
