    Margherita

Stopped by here before we went to the airport as my partner said this is a spot she really likes. Went in to do a bit of work and watch the Fifa game, while we ordered 2 pies, she got the Margherita and I got the works, I knew 2 pizzas would be a lot but thought we could eat it all, damn was I wrong! The pizzas were huge and definitely could feed 4 people! I also probably should not have had the beer, but I thought Pizza and beer, what a good combo! The service was fast, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance of the place is nice, if you're looking for a place to watch the games, this place would totally fit your needs![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The whole experience was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A small and cozy dining area so I can see where during peak hours you may have trouble getting a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Laid back atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the garlic bread and cacio de Pepe pizza and it was delicious!!! We did take some home and it was a very generous 16" inch in my open. Lunch specials prices are a great deal!

Went here on an early Sunday evening with my wife. I told her this place ranked nationally in some pizza polls and has won some awards so we decided to give it a try. We arrived just in time to avoid the rush. We were seated immediately and was waited on by the bartender. She was very helpful with her suggestions. We started with some chicken wings and some meatballs. The meatballs were full of flavor, perfectly cooked and served with garlic bread by request. We would order that again the next time we visit. The chicken wings were tasty. They were baked, not fried which was good as baked is a little healthier. I ordered the 16 inch works pizza and my wife ordered the 11 inch burrata E pesto pizza. We both have very different taste in pizza so we usually order different pizzas. Upon first bite, I could tell this pizza was a little different than most, in a good way. The bottom crust was slightly crunchy yet light. The sauce and toppings were fresh. It was a delicious pizza and my wife agreed. This is a place we would like to bring family from out of state so that they can experience finer pizza. The restaurant is in a strip mall in Chinatown. Parking is a nightmare depending on the time you get there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean with clean and well stocked restrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We can't wait to return.

Two wrongs may not make a right, but two zeroes make a great sandwich. Double Zero Pie & Pub is a gastropub in the Center at Spring Mountain, a strip mall that's pretty busy in the evening. Good thing they added lunch when it's not so slammed, and great thing I finally made it out for said lunch... even if it wasn't to try their pizzas. I had my eye on the Chicago Hot Beef Dip ($19.00), their take on one of my favorite sandwiches. They serve it dry, but it's actually pretty great on its own with the airy bread and tender short rib augmented by gooey mozz, creamy kosho aioli, and potent giardiniera. The beef jus does magnify everything though, and the bread easily soaks it up. My overall impression is that salt is a flavor and they really complement it with the spices and the acidic punch in the giardiniera. There is an included side with the sandwich, either kettle chips or a salad. I normally like to fill up, but I was sold when the server said there was arugula. This arugula is fresh and intense, and it's dressed with balsamic drizzle and perhaps a vinaigrette. The small bits of cheese and what I can only describe as sundried grape tomatoes add little bits of fun in every other bite. I also really loved the house-made Green Tea Yuzu Soda ($5.00), which was a great sipper alone but also really counterbalanced the intense food items. Yuzu can be great on its own, but I'm sure the green tea added subtle nuance on the edges. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I managed to show up at a quiet part of the day, so the relaxing music wasn't drowned out by any conversation. The atmosphere wasn't too dark since I was right by the window, and I was mostly left alone by the server to relax and enjoy the meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely have to come back to Double Zero to try some of the pies and perhaps some of the other house-made sodas. If the great lunch was a sign, I'm sure I'll be happy next time.

2nd time here and everything we ordered was just as good as I remember. Highly recommend ; this is def one of my fave pizza spots in Vegas. #1 tip - If you ever see the short rib pizza on the menu, GET IT!

Finally tried this spot out and so glad I did. Thankfully there was no wait and we were seated immediately for lunch on a Saturday. We went with the recommended mushroom pizza on a classic crust, and also the Nagoya (Detroit style) pizza. Oh we also started off with the Caesar salad, which must - super fresh and tasty. The service was great and very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is really cool - old school Japanese vibes with classic pictures on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll def get the mushroom pizza and salad again!

    Neapolitan-Style Pepperoni: excellent

Pizza was really, really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went around 4 PM on a Monday and it wasn't very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's located in the strangest of strip malls in Las Vegas' Chinatown.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place must have a good reputation as the few others that were in there sounded like "pizza aficionados" by the conversation they were having with the staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was expecting a long wait based on some of the reviews, but my pizza was ready within ten minutes. What can I say, but this definitely was one of the best pizzas I've had. Granted, I myself am not a world traveler when it comes to pizza, this thing was better than every other pizza I've had so far. It had a little spice to it and the sauce was very flavorful. The crust was equally as good. It was bready but in a good way, yet still had a light chewiness to it. If you like warm crusty bread, you'll love their dough. And finally their pepperoni was very unique. It wasn't like a traditional pepperoni, but appeared more custom cut in mature. Very tasty. Highly recommend. I couldn't help but overhear the other patrons gush over The Funghi.

Went here for restaurant week so we could sample their menu and we were very impressed. Started with meatballs and garlic bread. The meatballs were so tender and moist! And the garlic bread was flavorful and covered in cheese which was a plus. We ordered the Margherita pizza which had the thinnest crust while remaining crisp and never soggy. We ended the meal with the Pistachio Cannoli which was the star of the show! Maybe the best dessert we have ever had in Vegas. While not shaped nor textured like a traditional cannoli, everything worked so well together. It was pistachio cream layered with crispy thin toffee and topped with pistachio and toffee crumbles. Seriously wow!! Wish I got a pic of the dessert but we tore into it too quickly!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a nice, cozy spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came here after work, and from all the pizzas we tried, my favorite was the Funghi (V), really good and full of flavor. I paired it with some wine, and it hit the spot. The house drinks and dessert were also solid, definitely worth trying. Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of day, but once you're inside, it's a great place to relax and have a good conversation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance makes it easy to unwind and enjoy your food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definetly a chill spot with tasty pizza and a good vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time trying this place , and I can see why they were rated top 50 pizza places on yelp! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was greeted with a nice ambiance and good vibes upon entering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the pizza with pepperoni with extra mushrooms! The pizza was so juicy and had a nice crisp to it. Also like the thin crust as i'm not a fan of thick crust. All 10s on the table for me!

Excellent pizza and incredible customer service. Very attentive wait staff that checked in on us regularly. We had a little issue where our pizza was delivered to the wrong table so we waited about 30 minutes for us to ask them about it. Once they recognized the mistake, they brought us free drinks, free dessert and gave us a percentage off our final bill. Very sweet employees who genuinely want you to have a great experience. Pizza was excellent, loved the chewy crust and the flavors are on point. Will definitely be back!

Amazing! My husband and I came in for a late lunch & everything was delicious. Loved the chewy texture of their neo-Neapolitan crust. Had plenty to take home as leftovers. - La schiacciata: focaccia topped with our favorite things - truffle honey & truffle cheese. Great blend of flavors - Funghi pizza: cheese & mushrooms, so good! - Diavola pizza: enjoyed this for the nice kick Service was super friendly. Restaurant was clean. Definitely will be back for more!

Can they accommodate large party of 8?

Can't say for certain, but they could piece together multiple tables in front of/across from the bar in order to fit 8 easily (4 on chairs and 4 on booth along the wall), from what I could remember.

I got prosecco and my partner got Pinot noir from the happy hour and tbh they were delicious. My partner drinks wine more often than me (I hate the dry taste of wine lol) but I wanted to come to try something new. We ordered the Waffle and Caviar, Sausage Roll, Brushetta from the happy hour and the Chef's Tasting board. The Waffle and Caviar was super flavorful! The touch of masago was 10/10 paired with the waffle and cream sauce! Ugh my fav truly. Next we got the Brushetta and my partner loved it. He said the tomatoes were delicious and paired well with the bread and sauce it was marinated with. I did try a bite even though I'm a tomato hater but man you can tell the tomatoes were fresh. I had a piece with no tomatoes because I loved whatever was on top as whatever the tomatoes were marinated in! Next came the Sausage Rolls and man were they delicious paired with their homemade cheese dip! I don't think I'd get again because it's quite heavy with the wine but def glad I tried. Lastly was the Chef's Tasting Board... this was so good. You could tell the cheese and meats were fresh and paired very well all together. The main star for me for that platter was the bread dipped in that garlic butter balsamic + oil... ugh delicious. I can't wait to get the membership and go back.

I shouldn't have to clearly hear conversations that are happening to the tables next to us. It was definitely a squeeze getting in and out of the tables without interrupting the table next to you. Our server recommended getting two plates per person. The menu isn't designed to have appetizers or entrees per se, so this menu seemed like it's kind of a tapas place or kind of not? If the plates aren't appetizers or entrees and they're more shareable, then why would we only get 3 pork ribs pieces instead of 4? The pork ribs had great flavor. it was crispy, tender, and fall off the bone at the same time, but it would've been better if they added one more pork rib bone instead of 3. The whipped brie with blackberry and honey was a bit disappointing. Even after mixing the whipped brie and with the blackberries, there were barely any fruit or honey flavor. All I tasted was salt. The brie was too salty with no taste of fruit or honey. Moreover, the brie came with 2 small pieces of toast, cut into 4 pieces. There was definitely more brie than toast, so we requested additional brioche toast. Of course we got charged extra for the toast. I just think the brie to toast ratio should be better. It seemed like the plate was 85% brie and 15% toast. How are we supposed to eat the rest of the brie when the toast provided is gone? I did not enjoy more brie over brioche ratio. We also got the burger and trout. Both shareable portions. The burger tasted like a slightly elevated Big Mac but saltier. Trout was good and cooked seared with a medium rare center. Flavor wise, the trout and pork ribs were my favorite. Also, the smokin petal cocktail was perfect. Overall, the experience here was just okay.

This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
