Amazing food and amazing service! I love that they have mocktails and everything was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were to die for. Our seats were a bit wide and hard to get into because of this, but the chairs were very comfortable!

    No Nose Meatballs, happy hour.

Look, Oscars is everything I want in a good steakhouse. The decor is classy, clean, sharp. Now as far as high-end steakhouse decor, you can find a touch nicer, still I really enjoyed it. ,Enough that I came two nights in a row. Is it pricey? Yeah.. Vegas pricey. But is fun. Really fun. You get a window seat it has a great view to people watch on Fremont street. And the food was good. The scallops, Lobster and Dry Aged steak were great! Really enjoyed them. Shrimp were a tad overcooked but not unenjoyable. Overall, its what I wanted when I came here.

Classic old school vibe steakhouse in downtown Vegas Right off Fremont street at the end attached to the Plaza hotel Our server Jonathan? Was great- friendly and attentive with good suggestions from the menu The filet was good but nothing special, the side dishes were large enough to share,we also tried their famous short rib ravioli as an appetizer and that was good but very rich I'd skip the brussel sprouts next time- too many and a little too charred for my liking however the asparagus was great as was the baked potato We shared a bottle of wine on their special list which was good value for money The dome seating feels like you are outside with a fantastic view of Fremont street - try to get a window seat if available! It's very loud inside so hard to hold a good conversation but great people watching

    Inside the entrance! So cool

Our server Johnathan was So helpful and very knowledgeable when helping us choose options. The food was Amazingly Delicious and cooked perfectly! This place definitely met the hype' Highly recommended! We will definitely be back again!

Great experience again, the views from the restaurant of the downtown is awesome at night, seating is roomy and you don't feel cramped. Waiter was excellent and had good recommendations, took care to make my sisters bday feel special, she liked the wine and asked to get a pic of the bottle so she could get it later, he went in back and got the bottle for her to snap Food was excellent had French onion last trip, lobster bisque this time, tough choice both are excellent, large lobster pieces in a tasty soup. Sides are more than enough to share, consider splitting a main if you're with someone, unless you are really hungry. Prime rib was cook medium just like I requested, it was the thickest I've ever been severed, horseradish sauce was good, a little stronger would be better, I want my nose dripping from eating it, for normal people it'll be really good Little chocolate moose cake they presented for my sisters bday was tasty and a nice touch, very rich and white chocolate shaving on top tasted awesome Recommend reservations, they do book up, in December we couldn't add 2 people to our reservation 2 days out.

We were staying at the California casino and the ten of us decided to come here for a steak dinner. The staff was very professional and accommodating. We all shared the steaks and sides. We probably had too much food but it was delicious. We ordered 2 of everything which was ribeyes, New York Steaks, Cesar Salads, chopped salads, pork belly, sautéed mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach. Everything was delicious! The steaks were cooked a perfect medium rare. The lemon drop martini was excellent. And because we were celebrating our anniversary, they came out with 2 cakes to share with everyone. Bravo Oscar! It was a very special evening.

Went here for my birthday dinner our last night in Vegas and it didn't disappoint! Although the service was just a smidge too slow everything was pretty amazing. My group of four were seated at a round banquette under the glass dome with a view of Fremont Street. We all had a cocktail and shared a glass of wine. We were able to get a reasonably priced bottle so we were very happy with that. The sommelier was very friendly and accommodating. Not at all snooty . Three of us shared a strip steak- perfectly cooked and sliced for us . We also shared a chopped salad, a Caesar salad , baked and mashed potatoes. It was all delicious. At the end they brought a little cake for my birthday. Very thoughtful and tasty!

Our first time visiting Oscar's and it did not disappoint! The ambience is so cool here with the lights and surprisingly, I was able to take nice photos in the semi dark lighting. Our server, Nick, was excellent with a face and smile like an actor straight out of the Casino movie! Out of everything we ordered from the scallops, steak, wedge salad, meatballs, burger and the ravioli, the braised beef ravioli was the best. An explosion of flavor in your mouth and you'll be thinking about it days later. The steaks not the best we had but it's fine. I thought it would be a little more formal when we arrived but there's people dressed in jeans and caps. We will be back again when we are in the downtown area. Great vibes and nice to dine in.

We had a great view of Fremont Street. The food and service were great. When we asked questions, the server explained about the food and was helpful with suggestions. Staff were also attentive. It's wonderful to know they still have bread service. We shared a medium rare ribeye and crab cake. Our sides were brussel sprouts and fried calamari. The food was delicious and the ribeye was cooked to perfection. Different people promptly brought out the food and refilled water and also promptly took away finished dishes. This restaurant is a great place for celebrations such as birthdays or anniversaries. I can't wait to return.

My visiting family wanted to go here for happy hour, so we went. I have not been to this in awhile, and the last time I was here, the nonnas meatballs were so off putting I swore to never come back. We ordered the ceasars salad, meatballs, French fries and glasses of happy hour red wine. Clearly things have improved as the food is much better than before. The ambience was nice, and our server was top notch. I will now be back if the quality keeps at this level.

Had a great night out at Oscar's Steakhouse in downtown Las Vegas. We ordered Sal's Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Cardini's Caesar, and Oscar's 24oz bone-in ribeye, and everything was good overall with classic steakhouse dishes done well. The complimentary bread was also a highlight, which is super fluffy and buttery. We also tried The Hizzoner (what the mayor drinks), but would note it's very strong with 4oz of vodka. Service was very friendly and welcoming, though a little on the slower side. Overall, a nice steakhouse experience in a fun, old-school Vegas setting.

At our table, Fremont right in front view!

Love the place, the food was top notch, the service was amazing, the waitress was amazing as well, and we received a happy anniversary snack. We were so grateful! The place looks amazing, reminds me of old Vegas. Just overall amazing!!!

Chose Oscar's for my birthday because of the reputation -- the "Casino" history, the legacy, the high-profile image. The reality was different. I had half my steak on the plate and was asked multiple times if I was finished. Not checked on -- asked if I was done. Repeatedly. The table next to us was offered complimentary drinks at the bar in exchange for giving up their table. That tells you everything. For a steakhouse that leans heavily on prestige and nostalgia, the experience felt transactional and rushed. At this price point, guests shouldn't feel like table inventory. The steak was fine. The view is great. The hospitality did not match the branding. Not the birthday dinner I expected.

Oscar's Steakhouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Oscar's Steakhouse

Wondering if they can handle a table of 12 guys in their 50's without their wives who come to LV every August to hold their Fantasy Football draft? Maybe outside on the patio?

I would think this type of booking is right up their alley. In fact, while I was there, I saw a table of guys -- not as large, but at least 6-8 guys -- having that exact type of experience. I would go ahead and call. I thought the food was great.

    Are there any specials?

We were not told about any so I'm not 100% sure if they do

Is there a television to watch Monday night football?

Yes, behind the bar there are muktiple TVs. Also during this time it will be Happy Hour so you're in luck! Get the meatballs!!

    Is there a corkage fee?

Yes, there's a corkage fee. I think $25 but not sure.

Thinking of taking my wife in October. I see there is reservations which is nice. Is there a way to reserve a table for the window like Top of the World restaurant?

I believe so! I called and reserved a booth which automatically put us in the window section you are referring to. Cool view. Just specify on your online reservation in the notes 😊

Best place to park? Or is valet free with dinner?

There's a parking lot adjacent to the hotel that says Oscars. It's free parking and you walk right into the hotel to go to the restaurant!

What's an Oscar on the compliments part of the menu?

An accompaniment of crab with bernaise sauce for the steak

    Are the steaks dry aged?

No, our steaks are not dry aged.

What is the best table to sit at?

A table facing the window showing the light show across the street

Can I make reservation for 1?

    Yes

    Under 21 allowed in?

As far as I know YES they are allowed in. It's a restaurant. It's at the Plaza not the Circa which is a 21 and over property.

Are thy still closed on monday-wednesday?

    Yes

Is there a wine menu available online?

Yes, they have an extensive wine list.

Is all night happy hour only in the bar or is it available anywhere in the restaurant?

    Bar only 5-7pm

    Do I need reservations?

It's a really good idea unless you go when they open at 5 and have just a couple of people

Is there still a happy hour with the updated covid open hours?

Yes, the Happy Hour details can be found on this page: https://www.plazahotelcasino.com/dining/oscars-steakhouse/

I don't dress up that often or should I say all all. Would it be acceptable to wear a nice pair of jeans and dress shirt or polo?

    Yup.

    What is the corkage fee?

    I'm not sure.

Are kids allowed in this restaurant?

    Yes.

Typical cost of dinner for two?

Go to their website and the menu lists all the prices for apps and entrees. Since I have no idea what you would eat there, I cannot I've a general answer. However the menu will let you know exactly where you'll be price wise without tip and tax,… Read more

As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.
