This place is part of the Circa hotel but it's outside on Fremont street right next to a stage, come here to eat and not talk bc you won't be able to hear your conversation. Since it is outside seating you are still able to smell cigarette smoke if you love smoke. The cucumber refresher drink was good, not too sweet. The service is like any fast food restaurant service. We ordered the sampler platter which came with a little of everything, I liked the coleslaw and the pickled onions and since I'm not a fan of Smokey bbq I didn't like any of the meats, but my husband did, I'm a picky eater.

Came here during busy peak hours on a Saturday night and the manager Daniel was incredibly fast , attentive, and friendly. Now the food....sooo freaking bomb. Meat was tender & delicious. The veggies were really good especially the tomatoes. The place is right at the start of Fremont on the west side and feet away from the stage so the vibes were super good. Eat & get a show at the same time. Would def come back and recommend

I tried this place because I can use my Dining credits from Circa. I've tried it twice so far and it's OK. It's a lot better than the food inside Circa IMO (aside from the pool menu) . The beans and potato salad needed more flavor and the steak was too chewy . The girls who took my Order were really sweet and had a lot of patience. I wish they actually had a place to sit down versus just standing the whole time .

I ordered ribs. Was pleasantly surprised! The fries were delicious. Not a fan of the beans but the rest of my party liked theirs. Service was friendly and fast. Standing to eat at tables or long table looking out onto Fremont street. Busy location.

As you walk about Fremont Street, there are a lot of food options. "Project BBQ" is one of them. At the risk of sounding like a food snob, the food isn't bad; it's just not the greatest BBQ. Understand that most of the cooking and food prep takes place somewhere else. These elements are brought to this faux food truck to assemble orders. It's not inexpensive either. On this occasion, I ordered the "pulled pork tacos" ($18.00) and a bottle of Coca-Cola ($5.00). With tax ($1.93), my ticket was $24.93 for three tacos. The taste of the tacos was "okay". There was a generous serving of pork in each taco, and they were assembled well. One in my party ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It came with chips. They were fine with their order. Interestingly, another in our group has issues with gluten and this eatery had something that was gluten free. In short summation, you're paying for convenience.

They serve up a good brisket sandwich here. The fries were also good. The macaroni and cheese was extremely weird. It was so saucy. It was more like macaroni and cheese soup. I wish the baked beans were a little bit more flavorful. I do think this is a decent place to go for lunch on Fremont Street. We got our meal fairly quickly and it wasn't very expensive, but it was kind of a higher price point than what I would expect for the quality.

Surprising even myself, I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was different, but delicious. Huge chicken breast, but rather than a spicy dry rub, it was smothered in a hot BBQ sauce. And I mean smothered! Along with the slaw and pickles, it was great. Service took a bit longer than I expected, but they must make everything to order. No harm, no foul. May come back to try the brisket and pulled pork.

While wandering around the Fremont Street Experience, we came upon the Project BBQ, and it looked like they would have good tasting food there. The outside looked very bright and colorful and welcoming. It's a food truck! We had to stop and order! After looking at the menu, we decided to order the Pulled Pork sandwich with Elote. We split the sandwich to save on calories and money. Vegas is expensive, as others told us before we arrived here. Our sandwich was good - loved the BBQ flavor! Service was fast, and the cashier was friendly. The reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because they have stand-up tables, meaning you have to stand while you eat. My knees were not happy about that. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

We always enjoy the bbq here. We had the steak sandwich and brisket sandwich. Both were tasty and not too fatty. The service was a little hum drum as the staff mostly frowned and was short when ordering. Maybe they were just tired. Still looking forward to our next visit.

A great food truck experience at the top of the Fremont Street Experience right across the street from the Union Plaza..in front of the Circa Hotel . I enjoyed the TRUFFLE AND CRISPY BACON MAC N' CHEESE. Delicious and lightly creamy with crispy panko.. Yum! The service is quick, despite the long line. We ate an early meal around 4pm. You order up the meal and drink in a line of hungry patrons, and then enjoy your delicious grub outdoors in a patio setting right on the Fremont Street . A DJ was spinning upbeat dance/mash music which encouraged lots of dancing and grooving to the beats. I saw lots of people really enjoying their delicious bbq and sandwiches. Try the food.. I will return to this food truck!

It's a nice hip place to listen to music and enjoy a nice BBQ. Service is a little slow but the food is delicious.

    Can a person do takeout?

Yes its a perm. Location food truck nice little court yard, but its all takeout

Can I charge this to our room at Circa?

I don't believe so, they're not affiliated with the hotel. Privately owned business. Their food is the BOMB though!!

    Where would I park?

You can park at Garage Mahal (my favorite) at Circa for the easiest access. However, this permanently built food truck sits on the Fremont Street Experience so any parking at the Fremont Street casinos would work.

For months I've seen The Spot To Eat truck parked next to the VA office on Palms Airport Drive for almost every other day for lunch. I couldnt find any Yelp listings and never thought of looking on Facebook. Until today when something in the office smelt good and I couldn't figure where it was coming from. At the truck, its a trailer pulled around by a truck, all the pictures and descriptions just blew my mind, I was excited and upset that it took me so long to finally try it. I saw and even smelt their Buffalo Chicken Salad and I wanted one but held off. I started asking other's what their favorites were and went with Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich and Crack Fries. It was delicious on its own and only $7 ($6 for the sandwich and $1 if you add fries). It was a fried chicken with Teriyaki sauce, pineapple, tomato, lettuce, and wasabi mayo between a roll, I mixed up some deli mustard and sriracha and added to the sandwich. Did I have a smile on my face? Yes. Ordering fries on their own are $3 and ordering almost any sandwich or burgers are $6. Delicious looking gourmet burgers at a reasonable price. Their trailer has a TV with sound. I usually see them during lunch at the VA Office near the airport but follow them on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/thespottoeat and Twitter https://twitter.com/TheSpotToEat to see all their pictures, menu, and where there going to be. Hello all, for transparency, I visited this truck for the first time last week as it visits my job…read moresite frequently. I made a video review for my personal IG page initially, but I didn't post it here because the content wouldn't be appropriate for Yelp. So I'm posting a text review now. I'll start by saying that this is a food truck, so as you expect, the menu is slightly limited to their specialties. This day, I decided to get what they call the "steak entree", which is $17 on their menu. It's steak, rice, peppers, onions. Basic teppanyaki, my bad "hibachi". So I order and before I complete my transaction, dude is like "How would you like your 'Zodiac Sauce', spicy or normal", thinking it's included, I say "spicy". Great. He presents the check, 20 something bucks not including tip. Hmm, later I realized that the sauce is NOT included, and I basically paid for something that he insinuated was included with the meal. Annoyed, I paid. Already I'm irked because I think dude is trying to get over on me. Fine, I won't kill the overall service for that one infraction, but it did lose them some points. Less than a minute later, I mean, warp speed, my food was ready. HMM. OK, bet. I reach out, for what has to be the smallest little shallow plate of food. If anyone has recently gotten a bowl from Abuela's Taco's recently, its like that bowl, except Abuela's is like 8 dollars and this was 20. So now I'm kinda mad, I paid 20 bucks for a tiny bowl of "hibachi". I get to the break area open it up, I see a pathetic, 6 or 7 pieces of the cheapest chewiest steak out there. Not only that, but the flavor absolutely SUCKS. Like there is nothing, I've eaten at similar trucks, at similar price points, not only did I get MORE food from those guys, but I got BETTER food. I try the sauce that he added on. It was OK, kinda sweet, kinda spicy, had a little of that tang that I don't like, which suggests to me that there is some kinda mayo going on or it's an "aioli" of some sort. Never the less, I thought it was good, even if it wasn't my Jam. The rice tasted burnt, the veggies were good, even the huge chunks of the onion bulb. Overall, I'd say the spot is either highly overrated, or what they serve the employees at the job sites, is some 'B-grade' left over caca that you think you can get off on us. Some here might like it, but I implore anyone, ESPECIALLY my co-workers, to look through these yelp reviews, and look at these huge beautiful plates, in big styro boxes, vs the little tiny bento/Tupperware type of box you'd take your left overs to go in. It was hardly a value, it was hardly good, and I can't recommend it to anyone who likes this type of food. Take a trip and try some of the other spots around town, I won't put their names in this review, but do some research on this very platform and you'll find some local gems. As of now, Hibachi Done Wright is Hibachi Done Wrong and does not deserve your hard earned dollars if they're going to be putting out this SLOP at premium prices. METRICS: Service 2/5 - Cashier was nice, but tried to double talk me like a car salesman. Food Quality and Taste 2/5 - Average at its very best. Steak was chewy, devoid of any real flavor other than burnt soy sauce and cheap teri sauce. Value 1/5 - Overall value was lacking. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. Overall - 2/5 - Mediocre Final thoughts: Why are you guys jipping hard working people on their lunch break?
