There was a little gristle here and there but overall it was worth the price. I didn't care for the beans that were included in the other. I liked the corn on the cob. The corn was fresh and the sauce that they put on it made it really savory. You can order online and pay. They will text you when your order is ready. This restaurant is located on the Old Vegas strip, the Fremont Street Experience. It is right by one of the stages and near the Golden Gate Casino. It has a few high-top tables, but no chairs to sit on. They have a limited menu that includes a brisket sandwich, a pulled pork sandwich, Italian sausage, elote, and a barbecue chicken Philly. The staff there was friendly, but my interaction with them was limited. I got a brisket sandwich with baked beans and fries. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes. It was fresh and hot. It tasted decent. It may not have been the best I've had, but considering it was right on the Strip and ready fast, it was good to me. I hear their grilled lemonade is good, and I wish I had tried it, but I was already working on a super large tourist daiquiri. I was walking and saw the $3 tacos sign. Your options are pork, chicken or brisket. They sell in threes so it's about nine and some change. I went through the express taco lane and there was no wait. This line only takes tap or card payments. There is another register as well that might take cash but this my first time. The tacos are good! There is a little smoke in the brisket and the meat is not over done and prepared simple. The garnishments work well with the sauce and the smoked brisket. The limes are a nice addition. Nice! Another eatery in the Circa chain of hotels where we can use comp food credit by playing with our Club One player's card! Wifey & I were in the mood for some 'cue on this particular day after playing the slots at Circa. All we had to do was go outside right onto Fremont Street and find the Project BBQ truck setup! We had quite a bit of food credit to use so we went all out and tried some of their biggest hitters: -Trio Slider Platter ($25) - chopped brisket, BBQ chicken, and pulled pork on rolls with crinkle fries, Truck slaw, and baked beans -Garbage Bowl ($22) - Project chips with chopped brisket, BBQ chicken, and pulled pork, topped with house BBQ sauce, beer & cheese sauce, Truck slaw, and bacon -Whiskey Steak Kabob ($25) - skewers with steak, shallots, cremini mushrooms, zucchini, and cherry tomato with crinkle cut fries -Smoked BBQ Ribs ($25) - pork ribs with Project chips, and Truck slaw -Project Platter ($24) - brisket, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, and a BBQ rib with Project chips, Truck slaw, and topped with bacon It was soo much food for us, it lasted a couple days! I was wanting a bit more smoke flavor to them and perhaps a bit more kick. The sauce on these were more on the sweet side. The Project Platter was a nice sampling of their main meats all in one. Perfect for sharing, or if you're indecisive on what to eat! The favorite for us though were the Omaha Steaks Whiskey Steak Kabobs. I could have eaten 4 of these things! The steak was cooked just right, still tender, kept moist by the grilled veggies on the skewers. Simple, clean flavors. Some salt, pepper, and smoke char from the grill. Delicious! It also comes with a BBQ ranch-style sauce for dipping, but it didn't really need it. Project BBQ has some really great crinkle fries and chips! The crinkle fries were our favorite, fried well & with their house seasoning they have a good flavor pop! The Truck slaw was OK, I like it with a bit more tang from vinegar. The baked beans were fairly basic but serviceable, they could have used something to make them more palate-pleasing. Overall, Project BBQ is a fine place to have some 'cue in Downtown Las Vegas...even better if you got those comp benefits from your Circa Club One player's card! This place is part of the Circa hotel but it's outside on Fremont street right next to a stage, come here to eat and not talk bc you won't be able to hear your conversation. Since it is outside seating you are still able to smell cigarette smoke if you love smoke. The cucumber refresher drink was good, not too sweet. The service is like any fast food restaurant service. On this occasion, I ordered the "pulled pork tacos" ($18.00) and a bottle of Coca-Cola ($5.00). With tax ($1.93), my ticket was $24.93 for three tacos. The taste of the tacos was "okay". There was a generous serving of pork in each taco, and they were assembled well. One in my party ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It came with chips. They were fine with their order. You order up the meal and drink in a line of hungry patrons, and then enjoy your delicious grub outdoors in a patio setting right on the Fremont Street . The rib meat was great quality super tender and the barbecue sauce was tasty and flavorful. The baked beans were absolutely delicious, and the fries were perfectly crispy and really good. The only downside for me was the mac and cheese. While the portion size was good, I felt it was a bit pricey and could've used more seasoning in the cheese sauce. At a really good location near one of the stages on Fremont. There were standing tables which was good, they dropped the food off to our standing table. I got a pulled pork sandwich with chips and coleslaw. Coleslaw was a bit sour than I liked although it was all pretty fresh and crunchy! It's a bit expensive, but for the location it's not bad! The cooking is done in a food truck that is just parked there and looks to be part of the building. There are lots of tables to eat with warmers incase it's cold! Mister and I split the Garbage Bowl, the bottom is potato chips topped with chicken, pulled pork, brisket, cheese, bbq sauce, and cole slaw. The meats were all tender, could have used more bbq sauce. I go to circa hotel and resort a ton, we spend a lot of money I mean a lot gambling to the point where we have a Host any super cool and hooks us up with a lot of really good stuff . That being said this was the first time trying this restaurant and it seemed good at the beginning with placing our order we were the only ones there no one else was in the eating area They ask you is it for here or to go? We specifically told him for "Here" we even pointed to the table we would like, and he shook his head as to say OK. to get them to say hello and acknowledge you is a challenge itself because they just stand there. Look at you like they are mute and they can't talk. We noticed a bunch of people actually large amount of people were coming. We noticed they were all getting their food way before us. They were getting steak sandwiches just like we ordered. We were also getting the project mix it has a little bit of everything so you can try the different selections . The only difference was ours is we wanted the BBQ on the side. There was people next to us talking to us. He ordered the exact same thing. And we were joking with them that hopefully ours will come out soon because we wanted to taste our since he was telling us how good his was lol lol I walked up and I asked the barbecue will be on the side. He said yes Then 10 minutes later I walked back up again and asked did you guys forget about us and he says no no no working on it but yet he walked over to ask him where the food was. Our host even informed us I had every right to ask him for my tip back for poor customer service you give a tip based on good service. I went over and coincidentally the guy in the picture that waited on us was the manager on duty. He seemed to have every excuse to cover their selves and he got an attitude when I said I want my tip back. The manager wanted to give me every excuse under the son of why it took longer and why other people got their food besides me and that they had to cook my special and that's a lie. He was just trying to cover himself because he realized that they messed up or they scoop the food down at the containers and put it in either or a platter for you to eat there they add the barbecue sauce into it as he explained to us when he was ringing us up when we prepared did you forget about that ???? It's easier to just say you and your team messed up and forgot our order making us wait 23 minutes for it when other people were getting there rather rapidly. He go get three dollars and give it back to me as he's running his mouth to his workers of what I requested. It's all about customer service and if he was in my shoes, I am sure he would've ran his mouth. I own a few concierge business owner and work in the medical field and I can truthfully tell you I will never recommend this place and will actually tell people to stay away from it. I do not recommend this place because of it's really just not good. It's not good seriously there's much better barbecue places actually for cheaper. I don't recommend this place because of the service. It was horrific horrible McDonald's treat you better. You've been warned about this place.
