I had the 3 meat (chicken, baby backs, and jalapeno hot links) and the wife had the 1 meat (brisket) We shared some sides Mac n cheese, green beans, and fries. The chicken was very juicy and perfectly cooked. We both agree that the baby backs were some of the best we've ever had. The jalapeno/cheese links were delicious. The brisket was good. Still moist and juicy. They ask you if you want a lean or fatty cut on the brisket. She chose lean (I would have chosen fatty ) Their regular barbecue sauce made everything better. The green beans were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The baked beans were a tiny bit sweet. The fries were perfect. The mac and cheese had good flavor but the pasta was overcooked. I ordered moist brisket, but it definitely wasn't giving "moist." The sides didn't do much for me either. The corn on the cob tasted like previously frozen corn, which was disappointing. Well I was hoping for much better. Our first time we walked and there was no one in line but people behind the counter but no one directed or said anything to us. We got up to the cash register and I told the order taker it was our first time and there was no anything of ideas, thoughts, info about the place etc: so we ordered found a table and our food came very quick. I gotta say as far as the food the half rack or ribs and the tri tip were both dry. Also the order of fries were raw and floppy and cold as if they had been sitting around for quite a while because in the short time we waited no way they could have cooked these fresh. On 5/5/26 I ordered take out of a half slab ribs, half pound of turkey, two chicken quarters, and a hot link. I've had all these items before and they are usually delicious. On this occasion, all the meat was TRASH. It was 7pm. Every item was dried out almost to the point of being jerky. The chicken was basically inedible. I've never had dark meat chicken that was so dry and stringy. We ate one thigh and then couldn't anymore. The ribs were also dry and under seasoned. We ate maybe two ribs before giving up. The turkey breast, which is my favorite item here, was also dry and so salty it burned my tongue going down. Even the hot link was dried out!! How!?! Honestly this was almost like they knew it was going bad because they gave us an extra chicken quarter and extra turkey and a larger half slab of ribs because I'm sure they were getting ready to throw it out, and thought that maybe I wouldn't complain if they gave me extra portions of dry, terrible meat. The whole point of barbecue is to get tender, juicy meat from low and slow cooking. This was absolutely appalling for the price. I'm not sure I can ever come back to this location after this mess. I've been a regular here since it opened. I'm very saddened by the lack of attention to the food quality. None of it should have been served. Dry, chalky, stringy, salty, sad looking meats. I asked the man cooking and preparing the meat what was popular and it all sounded delicious. I am going though a "meatless" phase so I ordered a salad. Ok. I know. You don't have to say anything. Why go to a bbq place if I'm just going to order a salad? I know, I know. However, the salad was really good. It was HUGE. Served in a to go container this thing was filled to the max. Lots and lots of lettuce. There was tomatoes, cucumber and olives (I love olives in a salad). I could have added more things but that was all I wanted. I could have added meat but it just wasn't what I wanted. There was a choice of dressing but I selected the vinaigrette. The dressing was served in a squeeze bottle that I brought back to the table with me. I love that concept. The salad didn't need any dressing because it was so yummy but the dressing was delicious so I ate some with the dressing and some without. My dining partner took the cook up on his recommendation and got the brisket burger. Wow was that thing LOADED with brisket. It was a huge burger. He had to deconstruct the burger to eat it. He said the brisket was really delicious and cooked perfectly. Tender and seasoned well. Not dry at all. He absolutely loved this burger. Yes, there was an actual burger patty in there too. He got fried okra as a side and really enjoyed that. He also got bbq beans (that's almost mandatory at a bbq place, right??) and said those were good too. The seating inside are all picnic benches. You order at the front then sit down and the workers bring you your food. You can fill and refill your beverages at the beverage center. BBQ sauces and paper towels are at every bench. The dining area has lots of televisions around so you can watch whatever sport is playing at the moment. There are tons of Texas flags and Texas team flags on the walls in case you forgot you were at a Texas bbq restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service is good. My dining companion liked this place so much he sent the restaurant information to some different friends he has that live in the greater Las Vegas area. The brisket was cooked to perfection and came apart so easily. I loved how they ask how you would like your meat when ordering (we opted for more fatty cuts rather than lean cuts). They have large picnic benches and multiple TVs with sports games on. It's a great space for groups with ample seating and spacing between tables. The food was 4/5, but the service definitely made this visit a 5/5.
