3 Meat Sliders!!! Mmmm
Amy L.

This is my second review! I've been here twice this month and I came this time for my nephews birthday! The service so fantastic! Irma the cashier bless her! We had a huge party and she made everything amazing! I promised her I'd include her in my review. I also learned that this business was one at the Route 91 shooting and they almost had to close down because of that! So I really wanted to do this review more than ever because this business deserves it! The staff is outstanding! The food again was AMAZING! Thank you Big B's I'll definitely be back!

The workers are always very nice here and also the food is really good. I've been to a lot of barbecue places lately and this one is still my favorite one. I really like their tri-tip brisket and their french fries

Nadiezhda M.

The service was great, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the experience even better. The place itself looks amazing, with a nice setup and good music playing in the background. It's definitely a very family-friendly restaurant. When you walk in, the smell of BBQ is incredible and really gets your expectations up. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't quite match the aroma for me. They only offer three sauce options, and none of them suited my taste since I personally prefer a sweeter BBQ sauce. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with great service, but the food didn't fully meet my expectations.

Tri tip sammich a bit dry

Well I was hoping for much better. Our first time we walked and there was no one in line but people behind the counter but no one directed or said anything to us. We got up to the cash register and I told the order taker it was our first time and there was no anything of ideas, thoughts, info about the place etc: so we ordered found a table and our food came very quick. I gotta say as far as the food the half rack or ribs and the tri tip were both dry. Also the order of fries were raw and floppy and cold as if they had been sitting around for quite a while because in the short time we waited no way they could have cooked these fresh. The interior itself is nice but as cold and dry things were at a bit after 5pm on a Saturday night and the unfriendly staff I don't know that I'll make it back.

Went to Big B's Ordered the 2 meat dinner with 2 sides. Got some tri tip and some turkey. Also got the mac and cheese and corn on the cob. Mac and cheese wasnt the best. And the corn on the cob was just ok. As for the meats. The Turkey was good as was the tritip. But was so small of a portion. Service was great as the staff is always accommodating. And asking if you'd like a drink while you wait for your to go order is a nice add. Place is always clean and neat. I'll be back just wish it was a little more.

The fried okra keeps me coming back here over and over again! My boyfriend literally said let's go have barbecue in the first thing in my mouth is fried okra? And his response was Big B's? This place is always welcoming, and I love that the TVs always have some sort of sports replay game playing. There's also normally country music playing which we both enjoy. I got the two meat combo, which comes with two meats and two sides. Today I went with brisket, tri-tip, fried okra, and mac and cheese. This was probably the best mac and cheese I've had from there, sometimes it's a little older or dried out but today was absolutely amazing. I ended up taking some of my brisket and mixing it into my mac and cheese, with some spicy barbecue sauce. Make sure to ask for the spicy barbecue sauce at the counter. It's hot but good.

Ultimate bbq sandwich

The BBQ meats in this sandwich were top notch this time. Some of the best bbq i have had in Vegas. However the frys were undercooked again. Service was ok. Very nice behind the counter but, really would be nice for staff to go around every once in a while and ask how was the food. Still has a picnic vibes in the restaurant.

Big B's BBQ is absolutely worth a stop if you're craving solid, no-nonsense barbecue in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Trip tip: come hungry and a little early if you can--this place gets busy for a reason. The brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor without being overly sauced, exactly how good BBQ should be. The baby back ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious with just the right balance of smoke and seasoning. Pair it all with a Shiner Bock on tap, and you're set. What really makes Big B's stand out is the welcoming vibe. Plenty of seating, casual atmosphere, and a setup that makes it great for families or groups without feeling rushed. Friendly service and consistently good food make this an easy go-to. If you're a BBQ fan or just passing through and want something reliable and satisfying, Big B's BBQ should be on your list.

Had a family occasion and they chose to celebrate it here. Food is always good here. Their rib & pulled pork was delicious. I like their mac & cheese, has a little spice in it. They have coke products & a few good selection of ice teas Service is fast! We got our food pretty fast. Ambiance is nice! They have long picnic table that can accommodate big groups like us. You pick your own table and you place your order over at the counter.

Definitely solid BBQ

I had driven past this place many times. But never had stopped in so I decided to change that. I ordered on the phone for pickup, it was only 5 minutes from my house. House. Super easy to get in and out of. Plenty of parking which is very nice, especially for grabbing something to go. Super friendly staff, everything's out in the open so you can watch it being prepared. Let me tell you seeing those huge slabs of meat hit the counter to be carved up is a site to behold. The food was definitely good, I ordered the half rack of beef ribs. Lots of meat. Definitely not disappointed there. Ordered the macaroni and cheese, to be honest, I've had better. Macaroni and cheese should be a little bit gooey. This was kind of dry and pedestrian. I also ordered the cornbread which came out as two small muffins.. for two bucks. Nothing amazing there, but the cornbread was tasty and actually had kernels of corn in it. The barbecue sauces were decent, I had the regular and spicy. Too crazy. Just enough heat to make it worthwhile. Bottom line? This is a decent barbecue place. Is it the best I've ever had? No. Is it the worst I've ever had? Again, no. I would definitely come back again for the meats.

Brisket!!

Food is awesome and service is great and friendly! Brisket is tasty and BBQ sauces are savory.

Everyone in my party of 5 LOVED what they ordered. The following were the stars of the show: - Nacho Fries: this order was a generous helping of seasoned fries (nice and crisp - just as I like it) smothered with cheese sauce, corn, pickled onions, and green onions. This was great for sharing, and we all went back for a second helping. It was seriously SO GOOD. - Brisket Philly: stuffed with chopped brisket, grilled onions, peppers, white cheddar cheese, and a garlic-y mayo, this sandwich packed a punch. I ate half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner. - Basque Burnt Cheesecake: we had to end with something sweet since we were celebrating a birthday. This cheesecake was rich and decadent and seriously hit the spot. Our server, Hollywood, was super charming and great in every way. We all loved her. As I write this, I realized I neglected to order a biscuit!! I'll have to rectify that on my next visit for sure.

The food overall was bland and lacked seasoning, and to make matters worse, they had run out of eggs. The service was subpar and didn't make up for the disappointing meal. Unfortunately, this was not a good dining experience, and I won't be returning. The ambiance was disappointing. The restaurant is very dark, with worn concrete floors that make the space feel dated rather than inviting. The bench seating is especially uncomfortable and quickly starts to hurt your back, so I'd avoid sitting there if you can. It also seemed like the bar received much better service and attention than the dining room, which made the overall experience feel neglected

This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. Overall, Fox Smokehouse BBQ was a great stop with delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming hometown vibe. Definitely worth visiting if you're near Boulder City.

The skinny on this place is that Henderson actually has been getting some interesting food…read more Hog & Tradition launched last year in a repurposed SkinnyFATS space (also negating the Blaze of Thunder drive-thru cooncept), proudly proclaiming the arrival of Dominican-influenced BBQ. It appears that they've streamlined the concept a little, paring the sandwich menu from 9 down to 4 and the sides from 10 to just 6. Fortunately, there are still 5 proteins, and my friend and I tried all of them when we each ordered a Combo Plate 3 ($28.00), which comes with 3 meats and 2 sides. Smoked Brisket (+$2.00 for selecting this protein): seemingly cut from the flat end of the brisket, but with a healthy layer of fat on one side. Fell apart a little too easily, thus not meeting the technical requirements of brisket. Tasted pretty good overall aside from the smoke being mild, and went well with all the sauces and the chimichurri too. Pork Belly Chicharron: perhaps the actual intended recipient of the chimichurri. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Goes well with any of the sauces. My 2nd favorite of the proteins. Pulled Pork: a serviceable, tender pulled pork. Just not that exciting. 3 St. Louis Ribs: perhaps actually my favorite since it was very tender and the most obviously smoked of any of the meats. Chicken Quarter: thigh and drum. Lots of Montreal steak seasoning, per my friend, which reminded me of lemon pepper. Juicy and tender. Not as inherently flavorful as my preferred pork proteins. Sides: pretty solid overall. Mac and cheese was solid, creamy coleslaw was refreshing but not strictly needed, collard greens were fine but not very intense, baked beans were sweet and tender. Ube Cornbread comes with the combo and is great. The ube flavor is prominent, and I enjoyed it both with and without butter. The pickles included in the combo were fine but not amazing. Sauces: they aren't amazing, but they do the job. The sweet mustard could have been developed more, and the hot BBQ wasn't that hot, but they all added enough flavor. The chimichurri in my combo didn't hit as intensely as I usually find it; maybe a different vinegar was subbed in? I got a cup for soda ($3.00) and tried to do an Arnold Palmer, but the unsweetened iced tea must have had peach flavor since the only other components were ice and lemonade. Not unwelcome, just different than I expected. The ceiling fans probably helped keep us cool enough, but they were also running a bit too strongly considering their thin paper towels. None of the TVs were tuned to the Stanley Cup Finals for some reason, just some old or offseason NFL coverage. Hog & Tradition is a fun spot that brings a few twists to a solid take on BBQ. It doesn't strike me as a Dominican-leading spot in its current form, and a lot of the smoke is subtle at best, but nothing which I tried today was unlikeable. This is a must-try for pork belly fans all over the valley or carnivores in general in Henderson.

The BBQ sauces were good; hot not really being hot at all, but the meat was so good that it was no problem at all.
