I was really looking forward to this meal... but it felt like I accidentally walked into a middle school group project instead of a restaurant. There were kids running the place with zero adult supervision, and let's just say customer service was more of a "suggestion" than a priority. The salad looked like it had already lived a full life -- wilted, tired, and completely inedible (at least for my husband and me). The soup was served at that confusing temperature where you're not sure if it's supposed to be hot or if it's just shy. And the bread? Ice cold. I've come to this Cafe Zupas location for many years now. I'll be honest I did take a break from going, because I felt the portion sizes got smaller and I didn't feel it was worth what I was paying. Well recently my daughter suggested we go have lunch there. I was a little hesitant, but went. To my surprise this time it was different in a good way like how I remembered Zupas from the past. The portions sizes are a lot better now. I always love having the half salad and soup. The Lobster Bisque and the Nuts about Berries salad. Don't ever order from here using DoorDash or uber eats. I've tried a few times to see if maybe the couple other times it was just the person packing it up. But no, today was the worst ever and I won't be ordering ever again. It's such a rip off for what you get. I ordered a Cobb salad and it literally had only a half of an egg 3 tomato's and about 6 edamame beans! It's such a joke for 15 dollars. I chose arugula and that is all it basically was I also paid extra to add cucumber and there was only 3 small slices. The portion sizes are ridiculously small for how much they charge you. The cauliflower soup was the only good part of it, but not worth 11 dollars! I was hesitant to try it again, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We really love their menu, perfect selections of various freshly mixed salads, bowls, fresh soups, and made to order delicious sandwiches. Fresh and delicious food served by very friendly people. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. The store is very nice and open concept, not cramped, bright colors and very inviting atmosphere. They use fresh ingredients and it makes all the difference, plus it's pretty inexpensive for the quality that you get. They have new protein bowls: highly recommend trying them ! Had a lunch date the other day with my cousin in law & she chose this spot! I'm a big fan of the bbq chicken salad at cpk & lemme tell you....the bbq chicken salad here comes close!!! & for cheaper! I can easily say Nevada-ians are missing out if none of these locals are visiting Cafe Zupas because it is only located in Nevada. And I am from California! On my way home, after a week-long stay on the Vegas Strip, I needed a healthier meal. Surprisingly, Nevada has quite a number of healthier options. On my way home, I settled for Cafe Zupas without looking at the Yelp reviews (*gasp* I know, right?!) This specific location is less than 30 minutes from the strip, and as soon as I walked in, I had no regrets. First, I was greeted, and the atmosphere was inviting and clean. Obviously, it was my first time here, but the counter looked like what you would see at Subway, Pieology, or Chipotle, only a lot more greens. So much green! I loved it. Online, I saw a soup and sandwich combo, and seeing that I had never been here, I settled for that. Other combos are located right above, including salads. I was also given a sample of chicken that would go well with the Southwest Salad as suggested. The Curry Soup was fantastic! A small cup of curry with small chunks of potatoes and carrots is perfect for vegetarians. Though it's 106+ degrees outside, the soup was actually a pleasant treat. Don't skip on good soup on hot days! It also helps that the air conditioning is perfect. The Chicken Pesto is small but a pleasant small. After the curry soup, half of the sandwich did wonders. I finished the sandwich, but still, it was a good portion. The chicken, pesto, tomato, and super greens were a good mix at every bite. All of it was melted between two slices of wheat bread (you had the option of choosing white bread). So good! The chicken was also chopped to bite sizes, which is something I also appreciate. For an extra treat, I saw the Brownies staring at me and selected that over the popular ric crispy treats. It's decadent, but not overly sweet.it was simply a good brownie. Absolutely the worst. Ordered from uber eats. Come to find out that they didn't have the soup we wanted. Odd that Starbucks can have a website that actually reflects what is available. The excuse that they don't have a manager to update the menu is insane. Starbucks can figure it out. Anyway it took our Uber driver contacting us to tell us there was an issue with our order. So I call as instructed and it takes three separate attempts to actually get connected to the store. Then unfortunately the phone was answered and I cannot express how unhelpful this employee was. Dismissive rude and completely clueless and when I said that my warm food order had been sitting for a long time without anyone contacting me I said it it was cold I was going to drive back to the store. Her response.... "ok go ahead". Listen to the tapes Zupas. Great customer service you run out of food so the rest of the order gets cold. We go here regularly but not anymore. The quality and service have continually declined and this was the last straw. Look at the pictures of the sandwich that I received. We live less than 4 miles away and our order took an hour to get to us after rotting on the counter waiting for someone to contact me. My son and i decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. We ordered the combo of a half salad, or half soup and a whole sandwich. I got the salad and sandwich, and he got the soup and sandwich. When we 1st walked in the one guy was working on a to go order and the other one was standing to the back complaining how he was tired and wanted to go home. We ordered the salad (they were out of romaine) and the sandwiches and soup. We paid for everything and the girl at the register let us know our sandwiches were not ready and she would bring them out to us. We went to our table and ate our soup and salad and waited over 20 mins! My son said it looked like they were working on other orders, I saw the one guy who wanted to go home standing by the cashier and drinking a drink from the cooler behind the register, so I went back over to check to see if our sandwiches were ready. She looked a little confused when i asked if they were ready and she said something to the guy and he had not even made the sandwiches because she then asked us what kind of bread we wanted them on. The food was ok, but this kind of service ruined it for us!! On this cold and windy day, a cup of soup was in order. I was greeted upon entry. Service was a little slow despite several people behind the counter. I ordered soup and sandwich combo, she was very plant and even offered samples. She served the soup immediately. It took a few minutes for the cashier to ring up the 2 orders ahead of me. As I stood watching my soup cool down, I saw no one making my sandwich. So finally the cashier asked what I ordered and I said it looks like they forgot the sandwich, so she had to ask me about it all over again. The worst part was no empathy, no apology. She acted like this was par for the course. Several of the tables hadn't been cleared or cleaned. And there were several random puddles of water throughout the dining room. Only one had a warning sign. Very dangerous. They don't own a mop? The mushroom bisque was actually delicious, as was the new veggie crunch sandwich. I have no complaints in the food. It has been years since I've eaten at a Cafe Zupas, so since we had friends in town we thought we would try it for lunch. The location on S. eastern Ave in Henderson is very clean and well payed out. The staff were all nice. The salads are generally pretty amazing. The sandwiches are also pretty darn good. What I forgot is that I don't really care for their soups. Even the cream based soups always seem watery to me; flavor is okay, but never a must repeat for me. Their deserts are worth the trip alone. They were out of chocolate covered strawberries, and substituted an Oreo dipped in chocolate. Their Cheesecake is really great! Will have to go back for some salad and deserts soon! read more

Eastern location has been my family's go-to for several years now and will continue to be so. If you're there for the food, they're great and you can't go wrong. If you're there for their dessert-- I'd say either buy them from the grocery store, or from an actual dessert place. Their Dubai Chocolate strawberry cups were good about 2 weeks ago (Mid March 2025). Now, not so much. I used to be able to put them in the fridge and both the chocolate and the pistachio cream would freeze. Now it literally just tastes like straight condensed milk and never freezes-- little to no pistachio flavor. You can tell they cheapen their dessert. I ordered both a soup and a salad and ate them both in the restaurant, my soup was cold, evidently walking 4 feet and waiting 5 minutes is too long to wait to get warm soup. My dinner was an insult tonight. I got a $10 heap of lettuce with microscopic toppings and 2mg dressing. No need to return.

I had placed an order online at the cafe zupas located at 9460 south eastern in Nevada for in store pickup. I received a text message saying they received the order and to head to the in store pickup. An image of the text is provided. I had sent my partner to pick up the order. When he arrived it took 5 minutes before someone asked him what he needed. After showing the receipt, he was told they were still working on the order. Few minutes later he was told that they had run out of the soup I ordered. This is after receiving a text message to start heading to the in store pickup. The girl attending my partner was named Kayla which is what she wrote on the receipt. Afterwards, she tells my partner that she is unable to cancel the order because it was made online. I was on the phone and I told him where is that option because it was not online? She replied, "I do not know." The people there including her put more importance in cleaning the place than taking care of the matter. No apologies were made for the poor service or inconvenience of having to make the trip for an item that was not available. I told him to ask to speak to a manager. Get this, they had no manager available. I called numerous times about my refund. However, I was told no manager was available the next day as well. I called again and was told by Emmy that Leslie the manager was too busy attending and serving the customers and that she would not be able to take care of me. Also, that they had a long line and that there was a fundraiser, how is that my problem? I had also explained that I was told that it needed to be cancel online and now she was telling me that it needed to be canceled on their side. Therefore, that means that Kayla the employee that was there the night before lied about having to cancel the order online. Ridiculous way of handling things. This is the worst service that I have ever encounter. I had mentioned to the employee, called Emmy, what Kayla had said and now she tells me there is no employee by that name that works here. Here I am, a customer from the previous day who pay for an order online and not only was my partner misinformed but there was no manager available and this so called Kayla did not exist. I guess the she wrote a false name on the receipt. Finally, when the manager Leslie was available she put more importance in serving the customers the next day instead of taking care of a customer that had placed an order a day ahead. Therefore, her priority as a manager is to handle situations however when I asked Emmy what is she doing? She replied, "She is serving the customers." I explained isn't that what the employees are hired to do? The way I see it, I am a customer as well. I ordered the previous day. I was misinformed or lied to about how to cancel the order. There whole system and the way they handle things is disorganized. If you are low on a certain food item then handle it properly so the system recognizes that it will not be available. If the order was made already and the item is not there, then the order should be canceled. They do not care about customer satisfaction. This was a huge inconvenience and they made it worse by not providing me a way to get my refund or a manager to assist me. I will be sending this information as well to the corporate office. Leslie the manager refused to take care of the situation, knowing I placed an order a day ahead at that location. I have ordered in person numerous times before that some of the employees know me by face but after this experience, I would prefer to spend my money where customer satisfaction is valued. This was a horrible way of treating a customer and again what kind of place does not have a manager available and then when you finally reach one they say the manager on called, which is Leslie is too busy serving customers. Sad way of handling things. This location needs to properly train the managers and staff that this is a business and that every customer should be valued whether an order was placed online or in person. They should be trained as well on how to respond to customers' complaints. One would expect an immediate respond concerning an order placed a day ahead. If I could give this place no stars I would. Why? They did not value my concerns and it is standard practice that a refund be issued for a product that was charged for and was not received. I also left a feedback yesterday concerning this incident on the Cafe Zupa site and yet no response concerning the refund and the type of service I received. Again, it is unfair on their part to charge for something and no item was received or refund issued. Also, a hassle on my part trying to reach a manager that would take care of their responsibilities of handling this issue. We moved back to Henderson several months ago. Cafe Zupas opened up a location near our house. We had never eaten there until this week. We will be eating there again in the future. The restaurant's online ordering system is good and they have curbside pickup. As with many online ordering systems, Zupas gives you an estimated time your food will be ready. The operative word is "estimated" as ours was 10 minutes short of when it was ready. They were quite busy and everybody was moving quickly. We both ordered the Try 2 Combo, which we feel is a good deal. My wife had the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich, which she really liked! The second part was the Mac & Cheese soup. She thought it was okay, but she only ate half of it and the other half still sits in our fridge a week later. I had the Crab Avocado Melt, which didn't reach my expectations, but was still good. The other half of my combo was the Strawberry Harvest Salad, which I truly enjoyed, but was disappointed with the lack of strawberries. There were many more apple slice in the salad which made my think a renaming of the salad was in order. As a soup fanatic, I ordered a bowl of the Roasted Red Pepper and Lobster soup. That bowl made me a customer of Cafe Zupas for life! It was extraordinary! Well prepared, a good portion of lobster along with a fantastic overall flavor. I was in heaven, wished it was sold by the drum! One of the nicest features of this establishment is they offer you, free of charge, your choice of accompanying treats with your meal. So disappointed unfortunately. Definitely not vegan friendly. They got rid of the tofu and added a new vegan patty sandwich which is cool...but the bread has buttermilk. Vegan means no animal products at all. The only vegan item is the chickpea veggie soup which is amazing. The ambience is relaxing and definitely a comfortable place to eat...but I have to say it's a cool orange and white 3 star experience for a vegan brutha.
