My kids love Dave's and I was in a good mood. I got 2 pc sliders, medium spice. One of my sons got 3 pc mozz no spice. My other two sons got the 2 for 22 deal. 2 sliders, 2 fries and 2 drinks for 22. They got medium spice. We shared 3 piece hot mozz. Ashley helped us and she was kind. I enjoyed the medium and it wasn't spicy to me. I might go up a level next time. Bathroom and restaurant was clean and tidy. We took it togo. Thank you Ashley and Dave's Hot chicken read more

Overall I was satisfied. There was a sign there was trouble with the a/c if we ate at the eatery. We did eat there and it was a little warm but not unbearable. The service was great and I enjoyed our meal. The chicken tenders were really juicy and the breading seemed light and tasty. I preferred the mild flavor. The mid mild was not at all spicy but I more tried it just to see. My husband tried the hot and next heat up and enjoyed both as someone who likes excessively hot things. Both meals were very filling. I would get a soda instead of the slush next time. It felt like the ice was taking forever to melt and be drinkable after your first few swigs. read more

It was ok. I like Raising Cane more. None of the set menu has with drink. I ordered mild which was so plain. My husband ordered spicy and extra spicy. They were too spicy for me. They had interesting flavors drink. Probably kids like them. No drive-through this location. read more

Fast food chicken spot. You can order at kiosk or with the cashier. They have tenders, sliders kale slaw, fries and shakes. We tried the sliders and tenders and thought they were okay overall. The food was ready pretty quickly. But note that there is no table service and you need to pick up your order yourself. They also have different sauces for the food but they are an extra charge, $1.49 each. The inside feels like a typical fast food place, simple and casual, nothing fancy! read more

First time here @ this location on S Eastern Ave. Ordered the med heat chicken slider w/cheese and trying out the mozzarella sticks. Great quick bite dinning area is in need of some sunshades for these hot days burning up next to this window. Tip culture definitely getting out of hand for pick up and dining in with no table service imo. 6172026 GK read more

This review is mostly for my kids' sake. You always see teenagers in here after school, so of course my kids wanted to try it. They ordered the spicy chicken sandwiches along with the Fruity Pebbles and M&Ms milkshakes. My son says it is now his favorite restaurant, so I am sure we will be back. Prices are a bit high compared to other chicken sandwich spots, but they do have some unique options and really lean into the spicy angle, which my kids love. They do not have a drive thru. read more

Just learned that Dave's Hot Chicken opened a location fairly close to my house and we decided to go try them out. I was actually down around this area last weekend to get coffee and I somehow didn't see it. I only learned this when I was searching for newly opened restaurants near me on my phone. We got the food a little later in the night because there was a massive concert being held at Lee's Family Forum, which is like a mile away from my house, and traffic as a result was downright insane. So we waited for it to die down a bit before coming here. Kyle and I both got their chicken sliders with no spice - he got one slider and he got two sliders, with both coming with fries on the side. I also got myself a thing of mac and cheese. I was actually expecting the sliders to be much smaller than what we got, like those burger sliders you see at White Castle. But they looked like regular size chicken sandwiches. Still, though, everything here was really good! The sauce that was added inside made them even more flavorful. The fries and the mac and cheese were excellent as well, with the fries having that great amount of seasoning on them. Even though I'm a fan of Houston's, which is another chicken shop, I wouldn't mind coming back here again. read more

This southern fried chicken spot is definitely our go to! This location just opened and went there on their second day from opening. My whole family will go there for our fried chicken spot! Delicious juicy chicken on their sliders or having them as just a fillet. You choose the type of spiciness. You can't beat their fries that comes with your order. Staff was courteous. Staff was courteous and the cleanliness was great. You've got to go! read more

This was my first time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. When I walked in, there was no line and an employee was standing at the front counter and no one mentioned that the self-order kiosk was unreliable. After spending time placing my order, I received an error message. When I went to the counter, the employee simply said the kiosk "sometimes works and sometimes doesn't." It would have been helpful to know that before I wasted my time using it. After placing my order with the cashier, I wasn't asked if I wanted any sauces or a drink. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with the ordering process, so I assumed those questions would be asked. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, and when it arrived, part of the order was incorrect. I had substituted mac and cheese for the fries but still received fries. The gentleman at the counter was helpful and quickly gave me the mac and cheese when I pointed it out. After sitting back down, I realized we still needed sauce and wanted to order a drink, so I had to get back in line again. Then, after finally getting everything, I realized we hadn't been given a fork for the mac and cheese, requiring yet another trip to the counter. The one bright spot was the cauliflower sandwich it was absolutely delicious and the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, the overall customer service and ordering experience left a lot to be desired. I don't see myself returning to this location. read more

I love this place only problem i reported a soda spill and they left it there for like 20 minutes i ended up cleaning it

My husband brought me Dave's hot chicken sandwich to go for dinner. It didn't look spicy at first but I definitely felt the heartburn till the next day. I also had the run for two days straight so be ware of it guys. Only eat it if your off the next day. I wouldn't say it's an must return restaurant. It was just spicy and that was it. It wasn't savory spicy good enough for me to return as a customer. read more

Been wanting to try this place out since it moved to our side of town. Similar to the other chicken places out there. I had the 1 tender meal (#5 not on the menu) which came with a slice of bread, sliced pickles and seasoned fries. I opted for the medium seasoning which wasn't spicy at all, added honey to it. Also includes Dave's sauce which is an orange Mayo-ish sauce.. definitely a cheat meal but would definitely come back. Cashier was pleasant and there were a few customers in the place. read more

Oh yeah, Dave's hot chicken in Henderson just opened and I am stoked! Being a chili head a place like this is a dream for me. They just opened yesterday so they're still trying to get their legs under them, but not too bad at all. The restaurant space is very small and very limited seating so chances are you might be better off taking it to go. If you're familiar with Dave's hot chicken, you know that their interior design is usually pretty crazy in this one. It's just as good as they get great chicken got mine one down from the hottest extra spicy and it was all good. read more

I went into Dave's Hot Chicken expecting to have my taste buds personally assaulted... and instead, I was pleasantly surprised in the best way possible. The chicken? Juicy, crispy, and actually packed with flavor like, "wait... why is this this good?" kind of good. I played it safe with the mild, which turned out to be about as spicy as a warm hug. Not even a whisper of heat. Meanwhile, my boyfriend who thinks hot sauce is a personality trait went for the "hot" and let's just say he looked slightly betrayed when it hit more like a confident medium. So if you're scared of spice, you're safe. If you're chasing a near-death experience, you might need to level all the way up. Either way, we came for the heat and stayed for the flavor and honestly, no real complaints. read more

Haven't had Dave's in a few years & when I did, it was a southern CA location. Was excited to try it again and was pleasantly surprised. Got my order to-go. Ordered the #3 medium spice sandwich & mild spice tender. Chicken was juicy & I preferred the medium flavor since it had a slight kick. Really enjoyed the fries & dipping sauce. Fries were nice and crisp with the softener and seasoning was tasty. Would return again! read more

I was super excited to see a Dave's Hot Chicken open nearby and I'm excited that it's a hit for me! Staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was really good! We felt that the pricing was on par with Raising Cane's and Chick-fil-a and the portions were a good size. I really enjoyed the minis but the normal size sliders had really large chicken tenders on them and the 2 slider combo could likely be shared. Flavors were good and I liked the variety of the spice levels. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon! read more

The service was great. The gentleman was very nice. He was very polite. It was kind of empty, but I'm thinking because it's new and it was at a particular time of the day but the food. In my opinion I truly was not a fan I will I'll probably never go back. I asked for light seasoning and it came out with so much. It was ridiculous. My grandson ordered a tender and a slider. I believe I'll post pictures and he wanted them mild and it came out hot so I understand this restaurant is just opening over here, I'll give it some more time but as of now I cannot do a good review on it because it just wasn't good to me and I try to be as honest as possible. read more

Absolutely delicious !!! Dave's Hot Chicken has opened another location on S Eastern Ave and W Horizon Ridge Parkway. ( Blaze pizza previous location). We have tried several different menu items: a chicken sandwich, Dave's bites, loaded fries and the chicken tenders and everything was tasty. The flavors are incredible , excellent spice, excellent crunch, great coleslaw. I also liked the sauce with it ( definitely a must have with the chicken). The crinkle cut fries is very tasty too. You get to select how spicy you want the chicken, we got it lite mild which was perfect, not too spicy ,but not bland either. My wife likes it "no spice " and it is perfectly seasoned as well and chicken tenders are so juicy and perfectly crispy, not dry at all. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is very vibrant, cool and inviting. The restaurant is clean and very nice. It is beautifully decorated with colorful graffiti art. Very Instagramable!!! Highly recommended!!! Definitely worth the visit, it is much better than Raising Cane's !!! read more

The hot chicken sliders were absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying fresh, juicy, and flavorful inside. The slaw was crisp and tasty without being overdressed, which was a nice balance, and the pickles added the perfect acidic zing to cut through the salty, rich fried chicken. The fries were also a standout. Crispy, delicious, and well-seasoned. Everything came out hot and fresh, exactly what you want from a hot chicken spot. Service was friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The only minor downside was that we arrived about an hour and a half before the posted closing time (arrived at 9:30pm and the posted closing time was 11pm), and chairs were already being stacked and things were clearly being pre-closed. Totally understand wanting to get a jump on cleaning, but it did make us question whether or not we should stay to eat. We ended up staying, though the food was wrapped up to-go because we were told they didn't have trays at the moment. Not sure if that was true or if they were trying to hint that we should leave with our food. Overall, the food was excellent and we'd absolutely come back. It's probably the best hot chicken I've had. Honestly, I'm already craving it and I just ate there. read more

I know youhave just been bought out by a huge company. I bought those spicy bites and you cannot make these things any smaller. I am sick and tired of being asked for a tip for the girl that does the cash register. She's not a fucking waitress. Went here for lunch and was disappointed. Should've had lunch elsewhere. 1. Expensive! A 1 Tender 1 Slider with fries meal plus drink (drink was extra) cost almost $20 2. Was expecting the food to be savory, flavorful and spicy. Nope. There was heat but not that flavorful. It did not taste like it was worth $20! Did not like the dry seasoning as it has a very strange taste. The slider was easier to eat because it had slaw and bread. But the tender alone was just overwhelming with dry seasoning. Couldn't finish my meal and trashed it. read more

If fried chicken doesnt have a bone, it not good fried chicken. Why are all these chicken places only serving wings and tenders? Is it that they don't want to put the effort into it and find it too involved. Even old style coffee shops are lacking in it. Too sad. Chicken fingers are for kids. read more

Tried this new place as we have never been there before. First wait like 20-25 minutes for the food. Fine, it is what it is. Got it take home. Opened it up and two ranches had opened in the bag. Inspecting them and it appears they were opened-pulled back. No rips or tears in the ranch cups. Then to top it off the chicken was cold and bitting into it, the chicken was under cooked. Too bad-had high hopes and from service, to sauces everywhere in the bag and uncooked food I will not be back. Massively disappointed!! read more

Got our order in a half hour before they close. Then at 11pm they tell us very rudely that we have to leave because they close at 11pm and they can't have anyone inside the restaurant. I've never heard of anything like that before in the service industry. Whether it's true or not it was very disappointing because we just wanted to enjoy the rest of our food but being rude on top of that makes me want to tell everyone not to go here. Super disappointed and hope they get better people working for them to keep their reputation better. read more

What stood out was the customer service. Clay greeted me quickly and took my order promptly. He's very professional for being so young. The wait was a little bit longer than usual for today and he offered me a water cup for my wait. I was very grateful. My order was ready in 6 minutes so there really was no wait but the dining area was full so I did not expect to be helped so quickly. The food was delicious needless to say. read more

I'm not sure what the hype is over this place is. I love spice but the chicken was very smokey and paprika heavy. I couldn't taste any spice and the chicken was soggy. We ate at the location, so the chicken shouldn't have been soggy. The Dave's sauce tastes like ketchup and mayo mixed together. The best thing was the fries, which were crinkle cut. Overall, we wasted $90 on mediocre chicken. Wing stop is better in my opinion. read more

Picked up dinner from here for the first time and thought it was excellent. I got the two strips medium heat and fries. The medium heat is not as hot as Houston's but I thought the flavor profile was better. The fries were way better with a nice crispness that most fries lack. The food for me is 5 stars but dining in area is lacking. read more

We had to try this new place that had moved into the old Blaze location. The initial impression was good. The place is colorful and energetic. We both ordered the chicken sandwich which they call a slider. We also got the fries. The fries were crinkle cut and tasted to me like frozen potatoes tossed in the fryer. They were sprinkled with a season salt. The chicken looked red. It was dark and had this red coating. We guess it was Cumin or Paprika but whatever it was it was overpowering. They use their "tenders" to make the sandwiches. Sadly, my chicken was barely warm as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. It was also dry and chewy and a couple bites were so tough I gave up. My wife's chicken was a little thicker and not quite as dry as mine. We wanted to like this place. But, it did not live up to minimal standards. I know it is a Southern California chain and maybe it has a devoted following but the dry seasoning overpowered me. I doubt we'll go here again. read more

I went to Dave's Hot Chicken on the evening of May 4 around 9 PM and honestly the experience was really disappointing. The two guys and one girl working that night were extremely rude from the start. I ordered the chicken nuggets which are supposed to come with bread, pickles, and sauce, but none of that was in my bag. When I went back inside to ask about it, they kept arguing with me saying it doesn't come with it even after I showed them on the app that it does. The girl had a clear attitude and the two guys in the back weren't any better. First they said they ran out of pickles, then changed it and said they had them. One of them grabbed pickles with dirty gloves, threw them into a container, and tossed it into my bag which made everything inside messy, all while they were talking behind my back. On top of that, the chicken itself was extremely cold, and I didn't even end up eating it. Overall the service felt unprofessional and the food quality did not match what I expected at all. Definitely not a good experience. read more
