I was just recently here this past Monday nights with my friend's who were visiting out of town. My friend Karl got the impossible steak sub & said it "was O.K." My bestie got an Italian & asked for it to be toasted & add pickles onto it. She found that there were no pickles added onto it & it was even listed on the receipt. She went up & asked for some & was given to small containers of pickles. It was hard to see that the roll was toasted, it had been barely toasted. I ordered a ham & cheese which isn't advertised on their menu (it use to be) but since I hit up Capriotti's often I know you can still order it. The guy working the register was very slow and when my friend had asked for pickles to be added onto her sandwich he didn't acknowledge her so she asked again & he said "OK" same when she asked if her sub could be toasted. I'm was under the impression that he may have been new since he was slow & seemed very distracted by placing our order into the register. When a different young guy was making the subs he got confused about my sub because they other guy had originally put it in as an Italian but down on the bottom of my order on the receipt he had put not to add the other meats that come on an Italian leaving only the ham. I'm guessing he didn't read the order fully. I had to tell him I ordered a "ham & cheese." When we first stopped by so my friend's could check out the menu Karl wanted to know if they did wraps, I told him I didn't think so but we stood @ the ordering counter to ask and no one even acknowledged we were standing there waiting. Not a "hi, I'll be right with you" nothing. We went down to the burger place @ the other end & I told my friend's I wanted Capriotti's so they decided to order from there too. When we came back we finally were acknowledged. I was a little hesitant that my sub was going to be messed up but to my surprise it wasn't. It was actually really, really good! It could have used more meat & I know that there is a standard menu guide that they're suppose to use to know how much meat to put in their subs & I don't think this was followed. 5 stars for my tasty ham & cheese but I really wanted to give my review a 3 star due to the poor performance of the 2 young guys working but since its possible that the one guy is new I can get that he's a little slow when putting in an order. He actually didn't ask us what we wanted on our subs which is always a hit or miss when I've placed my orders @ different locations. I did inquire & he told me what normally comes on it and I had added mayo, oil & vinegar, no salt, black pepper, oregano & pickles. Not sure why the other guy making the subs couldn't read our order properly to understand what I wanted & forgot to add the pickles on my friend's sub which was also listed on our receipt. The past 4 times I've come to this location this year they're ALWAYS too busy to make my food because they're doing catering. The first time the short rude lady came out from behind the kitchen after I stood at the counter for 13minutes, she came out saying "just so you know orders are taking 30-45min at the moment because im doing a large order for catering what can I get you" so obviously I said nevermind and left. 2 months later, same mean lady same attitude, no hello no greeting just "for here or to go? Also im working on a catering order so it's going to be about a 20min wait". The third time I came the tall bald guy even said "really? Chicken chipotle crunch at 9am?" Today I came in he didn't say anything about catering he made my sandwich quick but after me there was a family of 4 and I heard the short mean lady and him going back and forth she said "so what am I taking orders?" And he said "yeah I don't have time for that im working on catering" I'm not sure if Station Casinos reads reviews from non casino food vendors but this locations is a very bad representation of the Green Valley Ranch ((Resort)) Spa and Casino experience, what good is it they've spent all this money to remodel the Casino if small vendors like this scare guest hotel experience away. Came on a Saturday for an early lunch. Located inside the Green Valley casino, it was quite reasonably priced for the location and portion. There was only one person working the counter but understandable given the time. He was very friendly and quick in preparing the sandwich. There's some chairs in this food court but I opted to go near the sports book to watch some games. Overall good experience and would recommend for a quick bite if in the casino. read more

When I first got there the 2 employees were assembling other orders and I stood there for about a minute+ before they said, "be with you in a minute." Might be the reviews on the lack of customer service...but I wasn't irked. The order was quick, the toppings were decent, the bread was chewy and soft, and you can't beat the convenience. I made the mistake of ordering from this location instead of the one on Stephanie, my fault, and the sweet guy that worked there reached out to me when we didn't pick up our order. We have Capriottis several times a month, but I am feeling poorly and got confused with my order. By the time I realized, the sandwich's were made and they refused to refund my order. Somebody lied lol. I saw someone comment on another site that the Impossible Cheesesteak from Capriotti's was the bomb. It was not ! The bread was cold, not sure how that happens when you ordering a hot sandwich. I ordered with mushrooms, peppers and onion. There was barely any meat . I ordered the 5 inch sandwich which was smart in hindsight because I would have been pissed had I ordered a larger sandwich. The 5 inch was $7,99 plus tax. Don't mind the fries in the photo I got those from Fat Burger. You can definitely make this at home which is what I should of done, but I was curious and just had to try. read more

Encountered the rudest female employee at this location today. I waited at the front with no employees in site as my kids ordered and got their food from another spot and waited for me. I continued to wait for service another three minutes as she chatted with someone working in the back kitchen. I asked her if she was open because there was no one around for the past seven minutes. She said yeah the sign says open. Then she proceeded to tell me that she saw me on the cameras so she knew I was waiting. Within minutes of sharing my experience from Monday, Feb. 26th, I received a phone call from the GVR location manager, Robert. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner and for all of the other issues I encountered. He further explained that the lady I spoke to that day was not his Asst. Mgr., but rather a shift lead, which explains why she didn't understand how to do the refund. He completed my refund at that time (thank you!) and offered to make us a free medium sub (thank you again!) with the newly replenished Impossible Meat. It is the worst sandwich ever!!!!! We ordered two medium Philly steak cheese sandwich: one with extra meat, mushroom, sweet peppers and mayo. The other one mushroom, sweet pepper, bell pepper, and mayo. There was no sweet peppers, mushrooms, and mayo. However, there was HOT peppers which we didn't order!!!! I took one bite and I was done. It was too hot for me. The other was HOT too! Both sandwich went into the trash! Extremely upsetting especially when the the order was repeated back to you and it is not even close to what you order. Went back today and returned what was left of the sandwich with the receipt, and the worker gave me a American Wagyu Cheese Steak at half price, as compensation, after she explained that all of their turkey was the same so exchanging the turkey sub for another one would result in the same issue. Employees were extremely rude. As my friend and I walked over from the casino to the counter, exactly 5-6 minutes before closing, we noticed the employees make their way to the back. Probably to start up the closing process we figured, which was very reasonable given the time. So we waited for them, but neither employee came out of the back until EXACTLY 11PM. One of them then quickly told us "We're closed" and then turned her back to go tend to other tasks... Not cool. Not off to a good start when the male cashier neglected to greet me or really acknowledge my presence. No one else was in line. I get that working in a food court may not be the most stimulating of professions, but Cap's has a good reputation, and if you're gonna work in a food court, GVR is not the worst. Maybe all the gray hairs made him cranky. I don't need a hearty, hello, welcome to Cap's, but something more than silence isn't too much to ask. I had a $5 off coupon (written on the manager's business card cause they were out of the $5 coupons when I bought a gift card) near Christmas. Of course I had trouble using the $5 off, apparently the female employee who gave it to me isn't there now. I told them to phone a supervisor but no one did. I got the $5 off but it was a hassle. This location inside of GREEN VALLEY RANCH RESORT use to be good, around 5 years ago. Not sure what happened. As a resort employee me and my team would go 3 times a week and the service and food was always outstanding. Today I decided to try and get some lunch(10am) and the employees stood there as I waited to order, zero acknowledgement.. they began whispering before the female employee says the system is down. We came back 20 minutes later and I ordered a SIMPLE sandwich: ham and cheese, with turkey, only mayo,salt and pepper. A toddler could understand this order. I get to the team dining room and it has lettuce, tomato and the turkey was far less than I have ever seen on this sandwich, as it is my go to sandwich. My co worker ordered a Philly cheesesteak. They did not ask him if he wanted peppers or mushrooms. Both sandwiches are highly disappointing and for 30 dollars, we expected much much more. Capriottis just lost our business, and I'll be letting all of my friends at the resort know to avoid at all cost. 7/1/20 ~1:40pm One customer in the shop and three employees behind the counter: one black woman, one black man and one white man. I'm including this because I didn't see any name tags and I want to call out the right person. I said hello as I entered. No one said anything and I stood patiently for a minute before the white guy asks, 'are you picking up an order or placing one?' in an annoyed tone of voice. I tell him I'm ordering now. He looks back down and keeps working for a minute and then asks me, 'what are you getting?' I told him my two sub orders and he asked zero follow-up questions (e.g. mayo or mustard? like they usually ask.) I waited a little while and then asked if I could get sweet peppers on the Italian sub. He still seems very annoyed and asks, 'bell peppers?' I told him, yeah the little pickled ones? And he says, 'yeah, bell peppers. They're the same thing.' At this point I'm just perplexed by this guy's bad attitude and displeased that I'm probably getting raw bell peppers added to my sub so I ask him to just show me what he means (the counters are very tall there, it's not like other sub shops where there's only a glass case between you and the toppings.) He asks, 'do you mean this minced pepper thing?' and holds up a bit of some minced thing that looked good but wasn't what I meant. Now, the other employee notices from the register and asks, 'what do you need?' and the white guy yells, 'she's asking for sweet peppers, they're the same thing as bell peppers,' to which the other guy says, 'yeah they're the same thing.' By this point I was just so annoyed by how badly this was going and told the guy, 'dude, I just want the little pickled peppers- I usually say sweet peppers and they know what I'm talking about.' Another customer pipes in from behind me, 'she means peppercinis,' and the guy making my sandwich tells him they don't have those. I just stopped talking and the guy making my sandwich tells me I can go ahead and pay with the other employee. I pay. I wait. Three other customers enter, place orders which get made by the other employees, pay and leave before my sandwiches are done. Then! White guy calls me over to the register and starts ringing me up, I tell him I've already paid and he says, 'really?' and looks over at the other employee as if he's about to shout over to him and ask, but I hold up my receipt and tell the guy I paid, I just want to leave. He hands over my sandwiches and I got out of there but I wasn't even comfortable eating the sandwich with how suspiciously long it took the guy to make it and the fact that all three employees had their masks pulled down to their chins/not covering their noses or mouths. This wouldn't be a big deal to me if the guy hadn't been so rude and unprofessional, but I had that sinking feeling that he could have tampered with the food. This could be a one-off, I'm not here to say, 'no one should go to Capriotti's!' I'm just here to say, I will not go to Capriotti's anymore.
