Always love Cheba Hut! Decided on trying something new today and got the Mediterranean Bucket O' Balls, which has kalamata olives, banana peppers, and feta. There were quite a few meatballs and was a hearty enough lunch. I also got a drink and Fruity crispy, which is always gooey and delicious. I love that they do online orders now because it does take them a bit to prep your food so it's nice to order online and pick up for lunch. It's also always busy! First time trying Cheba Hut and IM A FAN. Lots of seating area and a bar inside with lots of drink deals including $3 Jell-o shots and several options on tap. Staff were very kind and attentive. I got the Midwest Best Club on wheat bread and it was great! I was initially underwhelmed by the size as I got a medium but it seemed like not a lot of food. However, I barely was able to finish it all and was sad it came to an end with how good it was! I love a good sandwich and this place has a a lot of them! A little bit pricey for sandwiches but this place has quality closer to a Pot Belly than a Jimmy John's. They have a lot of options for everybody so getting the fam food was not a problem. They also have a bar which is a cool spin a sandwhich shop. Hey Yelpers! This is probably our fave sandwich spot. They have a few locations around the LV valley. The staff here are always friendly and attentive. They have a full bar, which is something you won't find at other chain sandwich places. The theme here is marijuana culture, but don't let that deter you. They don't offer anything like that here. Just some amazing sandwiches and treats. Our go to sandwiches are the KGB (roast beef and horseradish), the Kind (turkey, bacon and mushroom), and the Midwest Best (turkey club). The bread they use is perfect, with the slight crunch on the outside, soft in the middle. For dessert, they have an array of Rice Krispie type treats using a variety of cereals. We get at least one to share every time. We come back here at least once a month. This place needs to be on your check it out list. Enjoy! read more

I'd been to the UNLV location before but didn't realize they had a spot on this side of town. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the parking lot seemed somewhat full. There were people sitting on the patio (with their dogs) and enjoying some beers and watching some NFL games. They actually had a very good setup for game watches. It was pretty chill inside and also not super busy. We got through the line quickly and got The Kind and the White Widow, along with some Pretzel Bites. The food was honestly out pretty quickly and the bread for the sandwiches was toasted to perfection along with the perfect amount of condiments/sauces and toppings. The pretzel bites came out piping hot and needed some time to cool off before we ate them. Definitely worth the wait. So good! The restaurant was nice and clean, staff was courteous and asked us if we needed assistance multiple times, food came out in a timely manner and was delivered to our table quickly. There was also ample parking and easy to find. Honestly one of my better experiences. I will make sure to come back in the future! read more

I think I found a new favorite local spot. I do DoorDash, so I would come to this place often and really loved the vibe. It's a sandwich shop done right. They even have a full bar, and I love that they also have outdoor seating. I came here two days in a row (first time alone; second time with friend). The first night I got the Jamaican Red and the second night I got the Thai Stick. Both were equally delicious. I would've gotten the Jamaican Red twice, but wanted to try something different. Both nights I also got the French onion soup. For drinks on the first night, I got a Moscow mule and a Zittles cocktail (I think that's how you spell it). The second night I got a cherry limeade margarita. The bartender suggested the margarita and it was so good! I had never had that kind of margarita before, so I'm hoping he's working next time I'm there so I can get it again. (Note: the drinks are great, but they will sneak up on you. Not sure why it took so long for me to try this place out, but I'm glad I did. The bread is fresh and comes in white, wheat and garlic. Get the garlic when possible. It adds more flavor and is not too garlicky. Mikey was the server helping me and he recommended the Chiesel is a melted cheese sandwich is is really filling. Get it with the jalapeño cream cheese. The Sticky Icky is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with your choice of grape or strawberry jelly. I get the strawberry with honey. You would think the honey would make it too sweet, but it isn't. It brings out the peanut butter more. There is a bar inside that seems like a cool place to grab a beer. Very chill vibes. There is an outdoor patio area that is pet friendly. That was cool. For drinks, there is unsweetened and sweated ice tea. A soda machine is available as well. Plenty of seatings from small groups to high tops. It's actually pretty clean inside. The tables and chairs were not sticky and it was organized. I'm glad I gave this place a try and I now have a decent sub option in my rotation. Would recommend. read more

Just for clarification, the food is good when prepared right. This is specific to totally FUBAR order from Cheba Hut Delivered by Grub hub. I have a 12-year-old kid that's picky (like most), anyways, all the condiments that were supposed to have on my tuna sandwich ended up on his sandwich. Hard to wipe off wax pepper juice, and Dijon mustard. Otherwise it wouldn't have been worth commenting. Well, I guess that and I tip 20% on the order. Then all his condiments ended up on my sandwich. This isn't really a review on the food right now. I've been to Cheba Hut a couple of times before and I'm always satisfied but I really want to shout out the staff. Everyone in here has such a positive attitude and a smile. Every single person who saw me come in, greeted me. The young lady who took my order was sweet, helpful and funny. The young lady who called out my order was super positive. Everyone also wished me a good night as I was leaving. I already really enjoyed their sandwiches but the service puts them a step ahead of other shops. I usually never drive down Stephanie unless I really need to, but I had just gotten out of a meeting around the corner and needed some dinner to fill me up afterwards. There's a lot of new businesses down here that I've never seen before, including Cheba Hut, which I found during a random search. I'm guessing this is a stoner kind of place, for example their treats are called "munchies" and they have all this awesome psychedelic artwork plastered on their walls and on their drinking cups. Overall, there is just lots and lots of green all over on the inside. Everything may take more than 5 minutes to prepare but consider yourself lucky if your order is ready in less than 5 minutes. And yes, I was one of the lucky ones here. I ordered their Pacific Blue tuna melt 12" "toasted sub" (aka blunt sub) and got myself a blue raspberry lemonade Kool-Aid as my drink of choice, as it reminded me of my childhood. It looks like they had ran out of straws after I filled up my drink, but I took it back with me with no straw and just drank out of it without the lid. Hey, I saved a straw here, I guess. The Pacific Blue was excellent! I ended up having one half for dinner and the other half as my lunch the next day. It was cheesy and just full of flavor. Also included in the sub were onions, lettuce, and tomatoes, which are common ingredients that you see in a usual tuna melt. While in Vegas recently, my partner mentioned that one of his friends had tried Cheba Hut out in L.A. and loved it, so when we realized we weren't far from one, we decided to check it out. It was a little later in the evening, so we ordered to-go instead of dining in. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The energy was laid-back and cool--exactly the kind of vibe you'd hope for from a place like this. We placed our order: I got the Panama Red (basically a delicious chicken marinara sub), my partner went with the Kali Mist (a spicy twist on a classic club), and my daughter had the White Widow with added avocado. While we waited, we couldn't help but notice the place was covered in stickers... Naturally, I asked if I could add some of my own brand stickers, and the staff was totally cool about it. A fun little bonus! Once we got our food and made it back home, we absolutely devoured those sandwiches.
